01/10/2025: Located just off the road side, it is a good place to have a nice meal for a reasonable price especially when compared to other restaurants nearby. It has both outside and inside seating. They have a good food menu and a bar menu. Their menu has meal options (starter/main meal/ side/ dessert) starting from 18€ per person. This option would be better and economical if you are in for a full meal. Their portion sizes were absolutely good and filling. We ordered a seafood risotto and a spaghetti carbonara with two drinks - (pictures below) over all its a nice place.

26/09/2025: Back after the holidays, this time there were four of us (+ daughter and boyfriend). We ordered the farinata, of course (which was amazing), tried the "paposcia alla salsiccia" (equally amazing), and shared three other pizzas. We finished with a variety of desserts (a real treat). The kindness of the owners, Silvana on pizza (in the open wood-fired oven) and Maria on table service, made us feel right at home. This place has won our hearts. I'll be back again to share it with other friends.

21/10/2025: One of the best pizzerias in Naples. Delicious, large pizzas, incredibly friendly service. The atmosphere is 10/10. An incredible experience. We'll be eating there again next week!

05/10/2025: A welcoming, family-run restaurant just steps from the Castle, offering excellent homemade food. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, serving and describing his dishes with passion and energy. Each dish has a story and a reason for being there, and we were treated to a meticulous service throughout the meal, as were the other diners at the tables. Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and we sincerely thank the owner for the welcome and unexpected gift of a lovely bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which we will drink to his health! Highly recommended, and see you soon!

02/10/2025: Visited yesterday for lunch with friends, all experts in wine, terroir, and food. First-class hospitality and a meticulously curated menu, crafting ideas using top-quality local ingredients (grains, herbs, flowers, and select meats) crafted with inspiration and substance. Whether it's grain risotto with herbs and dandelion petals, or pork stew, or lamb with local herbs, you're spoiled for choice. Sandro Baliva manages everything with care, passion, and a surprising knowledge of the rural culture of the past, which he respectfully reinterprets in his dishes. A bonus is the location, just steps from Piccolomini Castle, and the view of the Fucino valley.

10/07/2025: Superlative food, I recommend it to everyone. Really good food, very friendly staff. Excellent service and super hospitable and welcoming staff.

09/07/2025: We got it all, wine, food, good conversation... When you come to a Trattoria, that's what you get, you become a good friend and if you become a regular, get ready to become family. Italia is all about food and family and over Montina you have the wife serving, the husband cooking and their daughter learning with her grandma. Now let's talk about the food. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce perfectly made. The fries were crunchy and dry, not soggy and full of oil. The cotolleta was crunchy and not a hint of oil in it, amazing. As a Brazilian I would throw some lemon juice on it because this is how we like it, but I can get used to the Milan way paired with a good red wine. The food is well served and if you eat small portions, I'd suggest sharing a dish. My kids devoured their pasta but I ate 3/4 of my cotolleta. Wow wow wow. Thank you for the great food and time with you guys.

16/09/2025: Went to this small Enoteca with my girlfriend a couple of nights ago. We had some great glasses of wine exactly to our taste. We were also served a little platter of snacks, some olives, some nice Tarallini and (my personal highlight) some amazing Provola. The wine, the cheese, amazing. We wish we could have come back again but sadly I can only recommend this place for others. Also very fair prices.

15/10/2025: We took pizza with us. It was delicious.

14/10/2025: The restaurant is beautiful! However, our food (5 adults and 3 children) didn't arrive at the same time. This was especially annoying for the children. I was expecting something other than spinach from the cooked vegetables. I also thought the birds in the cage outside were simply not kept in a species-appropriate manner these days. This may all be nitpicking, but with above-average prices, it's fair to say. :-) Overall, though, we were satisfied with the quality of the food, and the service was pleasant.

12/09/2025: The chef has changed; now they're more focused on showcasing local products and cuisine, but the food is still top-notch. Excellent service under the guidance of the longtime maître d', always attentive to the customer and whose choices you can rely on. The location is incredible: views from the castles over much of Rome. The sunset, on clear days, is unforgettable. The prices aren't cheap, but they seem reasonable. It's not the first time we've dined there with family and friends, and we've never left disappointed.

19/08/2025: I'm staying at the hotel and needed a place to have dinner, and what can I say... spectacular! Everything was fantastic: food, service, and a fabulous atmosphere. Prices are a little high, but they're in line with the food and the portions, which are just right. I'll definitely be back!

01/10/2025: This was a disappointing experience last night. First off, one food server for 20 tables? What could go wrong? The pasta was good but the grilled vegetables were actually steamed. The zucchini did have grill marks on it but the red peppers and eggplant were not grilled. The restaurant was full of Americans but the waitress didn’t have a striking command of English, which is fine so the chef came out who was very nice and offered to recook the side dish but I was done eating. I expected them to take it off my bill but they didn’t so I paid and left. Would not go back, too many great food options here in Milano!!

05/10/2025: A renowned beach club in Villapiana. Even though it's the end of the season (only one row of umbrellas left and many of the facilities have been removed), I noticed the owners' friendly attitude and great courtesy. The beach club is a bit dated but welcoming. Everything about the beach and sea is fine. Worth a visit.

16/10/2025: What a discovery! Very good, gluten-free pizza, baked in a separate oven in their own kitchen. Tastes excellent! The service was very attentive. The dessert was also gluten-free and very tasty. The pizzas are a modern interpretation with many delicious combinations. We will definitely be back, thank you very much.

In a sophisticated setting with a lake view and terrace, they serve modern interpretations of pizza with high-quality toppings and a variety of doughs. From pan-steamed, thick crusts to special flour blends (e.g., corn and sunflower seeds), high hydration levels, and the classic thin version – all pizzas are crispy, airy, and light. Perfectly cooked. Those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance are also in the right place here; they also offer certified gluten-free pizzas. These are even prepared in a separate (!) kitchen. I highly recommend the restaurant and would gladly return.
