18/04/2026: I discovered this restaurant almost by accident, away from the tourist crowds. The location exudes a sense of intimacy and authenticity, the food was truly excellent, and the service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended!
17/04/2026: Fantastic lovely restaurant with delicious, tasty food at very reasonable prices. The menu offers different and exciting food, which differs from the usual offerings in Venice. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely surroundings.

The staff is attentive, the food is delicious, and the view is breathtaking!
We had dinner there, and I highly recommend going in the evening: it's even more magical 😄
It's a semi-gastronomic restaurant, so the portions are small: if you're very hungry, I suggest ordering two courses, and you won't regret it!

17/03/2026: A seafood restaurant, and much more, in the charming Garbatella neighborhood. Excellent variety of both fish and meat dishes; we ate fish and were particularly pleased. In addition to the menu, there are also some off-menu options.
16/03/2026: A quiet and welcoming location, the staff are courteous and attentive to every detail, the menu is varied and delicious, made with superb ingredients, and the dishes are meticulously prepared with just the right amount of ingredients and generous amounts of seasoning. We'll be back soon to try the other dishes on the menu.

05/04/2026: After a bit of a struggle to reach the top where the restaurant is located :-), we were rewarded by the deliciousness and quality of the food we deserved to taste; excellent dishes prepared to perfection.
Perfect. Tortelli with truffle cream and chestnut tortelli, excellent pici with porcini mushrooms, and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù. An excellent and tender steak, tasty beans, and spectacular fried porcini mushrooms. Lovely place. The staff were very kind. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.
29/03/2026: What a lovely place: authentic food, generous portions, beautiful, simple flavors as only they once knew how, friendly waiters, and finally, wonderful prices! The only thing I wasn't sold on were the desserts, but otherwise, there was so much, so much!

05/04/2026: Average service. The lady was welcoming. The atmosphere was fabulous. Very quaint. It's a shame the same can't be said for the dishes. They were undercooked. The portions were small. In my spaghetti with clams, I only found a bit of parsley, and it was very, very al dente.
The price was a bit high considering the quality of the dishes ordered.
Happy Easter to anyone who goes.

The salad was also large and beautifully presented.
I can wholeheartedly recommend it!
01/04/2026: We ordered three pizzas for four people and two desserts for the kids. We waited about 15 minutes for the food. The pizzas were delicious. We loved everything.

17/03/2026: A very, very exciting experience... I've always heard about the green lantern at Villa di Chiavenna, now I can say it's truly worth it... try it over and over again as many times as you want... everything is very special, from the dishes to the service and the location.
05/03/2026: A beautiful and elegant restaurant, the food is good and they have four tasting menus from which you can choose your favorite dishes. Excellent wine list with several vintages of important wines!

10/11/2025: Amazing place! Spectacular sea views, a relaxing atmosphere, and super friendly staff. We had lunch just a few meters from the water with truly delicious dishes: a fresh seafood appetizer, flavorful seafood paccheri, and a light dessert with cream and strawberries that was simply heavenly.
A glass of white wine, a sea breeze, and a breathtaking view... what more could you ask for?
After lunch, we also enjoyed an aperitif overlooking the sea, and it was simply perfect.
La Gavitella is one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the Amalfi Coast in all its splendor. ❤️
