Very nice restaurant, typical in a small street in Lucca and rather pleasant service but I must admit that it was a disappointment when we received the dishes. If we put the size of the dishes in relation to the price. We had several pasta dishes for €15 and the quantity is not very respectful of Italian generosity. We left with a half-filled stomach… and therefore a mezzo mezzo effect. Too bad because adding 50g more spaghetti to the plate won't ruin the business :)

I had lunch with two colleagues in this little restaurant hidden in an alley in the center. We found fresh pasta, tasty dishes, delicious and refined desserts. Friendly and welcoming owner and staff. A real treat for mouth and spirit! I hope to return to Lucca to eat here again.

A very worthy option for eating in Lucca: Tuscan dishes, family atmosphere and very nice staff. We were welcomed without a reservation but we advise you to reserve, it fills up!

We went the day before Easter, excellent tavern, quality food cooked very well, generous portions (even the cutlet for the little girl was nice and plentiful) excellent service... if you are looking for a tavern in Lucca go there!! You won't regret it!!!

Special dishes. The black cabbage gnocchi is a must try. The cheeks with mashed potatoes are excellent. Courteous service. Reservation required. Small environment

There is delicious food here with dishes from Tuscany. The staff are very friendly and passionate about explaining the specialities. Absolutely fair value for money. My warmest recommendation

Osteria tipica lucchese nel centro storico in un vicolino. Piatti incredibili molto sfiziosi abbinati ad una bella carta dei vini. Lodevoli i testaroli e la guancia di maiala brasata.

Cosa potrei aggiungere che già non ho detto? Che è migliorata ancora, nella scelta della materia prima e nelle pietanze preparate, nel servizio e nella vasta scelta di vini di ottima qualità... nella miriade di ristoranti turistici di Lucca l'Osteria del Neni si distingue per una cucina casalinga e di piatti tipici. Menzione particolare per il lampredotto, semplicemente squisito!

30/03/2024: Nice and busy place, so the service sometimes slows down. The platter of mixed cured meats and jam is very varied and tasty. The very thin pizza that accompanies the platter is excellent and, of course, the good wine.
09/03/2024: Young and very friendly staff! Good and satisfying dishes! We always come back to eat pici with red wine! A warranty!

12/11/2023: Authentic Italian pizza off the beaten track of the main seaside prominade. Amazing pizza for good affordable prices, friendly atmosphere, a lovely family run business. Had pizza there 2 nights running 😁. Definitely recommend!
08/10/2023: Really excellent pizzas Everything is fresh and made in front of you with good products Huge pizza choices with three different sizes, the smallest being the classic size All the staff are super professional while being adorable and smiling Super reasonable prices Take away even if there are a few tables I wish you were in my city....
