Delicious food, equally delicious staff, and fair prices! The waiter, as well as his colleagues, are incredibly kind! Well done!!!

Last week, my husband and I had a really great lunch here. We ordered several dishes, and everything was so good. I especially need to mention the dessert. Even remembering that tiramisu makes my mouth water.

My three friends and I went and found this place by chance. We left at 4 pm, delighted. Before we started dinner, they served us a sparkling wine with some potato croquettes. The food was delicious, the atmosphere charming, and the staff super friendly! 🥰 By the way, you have to order the tiramisu; it's the best I've ever had.

Over 30 years ago, I used to pass by this place on my way to meet my friends on Saturdays. Then I grew up, but I'd never eaten there before. Well, the lady who works there is still the owner. It's almost as if she'd waited for me and my friend. So today, we went. The prices are fair, as in the historic center, of course, but the difference here is that you can still find two of the original things about the place. You don't have to eat the tourist dish if you don't want it. So maybe that place, which I once considered a place frequented by tourists, is now the only one, or one of the few, that still tells the story of Lucca as it once was. And you might think we ended up there because I'd booked before, where I'd assumed I'd be having dinner, and I was 10 minutes late, and she called to tell me that if I wasn't there in 5, she'd give the table away. Really? Good, give it away, you, you'll never see me again. Unfortunately, we've become numbers. That guy over there will find 1,000 other customers in my place. But I thank him because this way I will return to Dal Neni!

Two of us popped in without reservations for dinner at 7.45pm. Sat inside due to rainy weather. Please eat at this restaurant/trattoria. Absolutely outstanding home-made dishes. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Good, efficient service. English menus helped. Extensive wine list. We enjoyed three courses à la carte for about €30 each. Wine, water and coffee increased it to €45. Descriptions are in the pics. Not shown is the delicious Tiramisu and (€25) Montepulciano red wine. Also, the espresso and americano coffees were excellent. Very happy customers.

Very attentive service and the most delicious food we had in Lucca. Not the usual pasta for once… We had grilled chicken and lamb. Incredibly flavorful and delicious 😋

The service was friendly, attentive, and courteous, a rare occurrence. The people were delightful. Excellent food in a tasteful setting. I'll definitely be back. They were excellent.

We booked for the evening of May 1st. They were very kind in finding us a seat inside even though the restaurant was already fully booked. A quaint place. We were welcomed with bubbles and a small entree offered by the restaurant. We had an appetizer and two tagliata (a type of cut of meat) with roast potatoes. Everything was good, except that one of the tagliata was "hard" and we couldn't eat it [it happens]. The owners, not only weren't offended that we had told them this, but they also took it off our bill. Thank you, we really appreciated your honesty!! The dishes I saw passing by were very inviting. The atmosphere, speed, and courtesy were excellent. I recommend it.

We're passing through Lucca and opt for this osteria, an excellent choice! I recommend it... we had the house appetizer, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and a sliced ​​steak. Everything was delicious. The tiramisu is a must-try! The staff were helpful, kind, and very attentive. We had a wonderful end to our Tuscan vacation.

Everything was excellent, from the location to the service to the final bill. We discovered it by chance and can't wait to return to the area. Excellent selection of pecorino cheeses, meatballs, and wonderful artichokes, as are the desserts.
