29/03/2026: The food, the wine, the service were perfect.

28/03/2026: Tortellini, tortellini, tortellini!!!!! (The staff is always very friendly) The food is good, the atmosphere is very clean, the people are polite and respectful. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The good Sessa who wrote the last review should understand that if you're poor, you should go to the sushi place 4 kilometers away and stuff yourself with frozen fish... This is not a place for rude and ill-mannered people.

06/04/2026: We had lunch at Villa Baroni on Easter Monday. The property offers limited parking, but a few meters ahead, there are two free public parking lots. Because it was a special day, the restaurant was very crowded, and the wait was a bit long (but we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us). The only downside was that some waiters, one in particular, was running (literally) around the room. The food was delicious; the raw fish appetizer was excellent; we highly recommend it. The view is beautiful, and after lunch, we stopped by the pool to soak up some rays. That part of the property is also very beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant on Lake Varese with about 20 people, and we were truly delighted. The menu was well thought out, the dishes were of excellent quality and carefully prepared, and the service was efficient, friendly, and always attentive. All our guests had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this place for special occasions.

19/04/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday.. the dishes are always a guarantee, even the specials of the day.. a very friendly waiter served us in the dining room, super G.A.!!

14/04/2026: Sunday lunch for three, with a table booked for 1:00 PM. The place was very busy. We waited 15 minutes for a table without any explanation from the owner, resulting in somewhat questionable service. The food was average.

30/03/2026: A restaurant with traditional decor, a friendly atmosphere, and above all, excellent pizzas at an affordable price. Special mention also goes to their tiramisu! I highly recommend it.

14/04/2026: We had the gourmet prosciutto (Crudo) pizza. Italian prosciutto, tomato sauce, basil pesto, burrata, arugula. And the gourmet bacon and 'Nduja pizza. Seasoned bacon, tomato sauce, 'Nduja, Taggiasca olives, burrata. Both pizzas were baked to perfection. No cookie crust. The burrata was excellent. Very creamy and fresh. The gourmet bacon is very flavorful and a little spicy. But it works perfectly with the burrata. The gourmet prosciutto (Crudo) was exactly as you would expect from this classic. Of course, the quality depends on the ham. Here, the prosciutto Crudo was very tasty and of good quality. Therefore, I can only say: superb pizza. We will definitely order this pizza again on our next visit to Chiavenna.

07/04/2026: We went on a Saturday night without a reservation and they found us a table, but it was 6:50 PM. The pizza was good and quite thin, just the way we like it.

23/03/2026: Michelin-starred osteria almost empty on Sunday lunchtime... Strange. Maybe because when you book online, you have to accept a €30 per person no-show fee?!? Frankly, we hesitated. The spaghetti with smoked swordfish was good but strangely cold on top and hot underneath. Would the dishes have sat in the kitchen for a long time before being brought to the table? Who knows. The grilled octopus was chewy but good. The sea bass was delicious. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. With a €4 cover charge at a Michelin-starred osteria, you shouldn't be forced to ask for more bread or pour wine. And no one asked if everything was okay with the dishes. Luckily, it wasn't busy at all.

18/03/2026: Excellent, welcoming restaurant with a rich, original menu. The dishes are expertly prepared and expertly prepared. The atmosphere is warm, with beautiful photos of musicians on the walls and pleasant, unobtrusive music playing. Definitely worth a try; we'll be back.

21/04/2026: As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a strong citrus aroma. You can enjoy exceptional brioches, coffee, and gelato. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you're passing through Salerno, you absolutely must stop by this place. I highly recommend it.

07/04/2026: The atmosphere is reminiscent of old-fashioned family-run trattorias. The authentic flavors of Sicily, with a wide selection of traditional first and second courses. Generous portions and exceptional service. Kudos to the chef. Very fair prices.

07/04/2026: We sat in the outdoor seating area, right on the small street, because of the mild temperatures, which provided an authentic Italian street-side experience (a real neighborhood social hub). The menu is available either in Italian on a chalkboard by the entrance or multilingual via QR code at the table. We were pleasantly surprised by the speed with which our digital ordering system (which is to be expected!) was served. But now to the main point: The food was excellent, and we were served complimentary dessert wine and a sample of limoncello (perhaps because we looked so puzzled?). And all this at a very reasonable price. All in all, a truly delightful experience!

12/04/2026: We stopped at this restaurant on our way from Rome. The food was exceptional, and you absolutely must try the Genovese and the Pasta e Patate. The meat was excellent, cooked to perfection. But above all, the service was top-notch, thanks to Ida and Giulia, friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back!

09/04/2026: We were passing through this area on our holiday and we are so happy that we found this restaurant. Food was excellent and so was the service and ambiance too. We ordered a starter and I don’t eat meat, so they offered a vegetarian option, and it was delicious. The main course was also excellent and the dessert was cherry on top,fresh yoghurt with berries, so good and fresh. Our waiter Omar was great and really friendly. He kindly gave us many tips on what to do and see in the area. We recommend this family owned restaurant wholeheartedly. Great dining experience.

30/03/2026: I went to Osteria della Purtascia with my friends on Sunday for lunch. If you're looking for a place where you can feel at home, but with high-quality cuisine, this is the place. The restaurant is beautiful and very well-kept, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It's the perfect setting for a lunch/dinner with friends, where you can chat and enjoy yourself. The hospitality was the added bonus. All the staff is extremely kind, but a special mention goes to the waitress, Luana, who was truly exquisite. We really appreciated the way the owner explains the products on the menu: he does it with such a fascinating passion that it makes you want to try everything! ​The food is truly delicious. Here are some dishes we tried: Appetizer: The egg with truffle was simply delicious, balanced, and fragrant. ​First course: We chose a special of the day, paccheri with sausage, porcini mushrooms, saffron, and a sprinkling of red berries. A refined, original, and decidedly tasty dish. ​Wine: The house wine also proved to be an excellent choice, perfect for accompanying dinner. ​In summary: An excellent experience in every way. We'll definitely be back!

20/04/2026: We loved ll Ritrovo! It’s family owned and everything is nice and fresh. We meet the owners and they were lovely people. We can’t recommend this enough, it was the best meal we had in Positano!

19/04/2026: A small restaurant in the hills above Positano, away from the crowds, with very friendly staff, delicious food and wine, and a beautiful view. Special mention for the restaurant's shuttle service which picked us up in the center of Positano and dropped us off right at our doorstep. Highly recommended!

19/04/2026: We stopped for lunch with a group of friends. It's a very unique, well-kept place with a lovely outdoor garden where you can eat. The menu is truly extensive, with plentiful appetizers and first courses as well. I must say, everything was delicious and of excellent quality. We'll definitely be back. The service could be improved; the staff are very young and eager, but you can tell they have little experience.

02/11/2025: Service! Service was invented here! The room perfectly matches the location—not overly luxurious, but everything is there and impeccably maintained. The location? The location is truly breathtaking. For lovers of fine wines, refined breakfasts, culinary dinners, and a pool with a view: this is a place to return to. I can't wait to go back. "Two photos don't say enough... it's even more beautiful in person. Judge for yourself!"

30/10/2025: Staff: Staff were lovely and very attentive. Room: Spacious, comfortable, nice amenities. There was a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch. Restaurant: Breakfast was great, lots of choice and it's all high quality. The wasps swarming the breakfast area was the only negative but that can't really be helped. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, just to try it out. I had the worst steak I've ever had here, truly terrible. Prices are insanely high too Bar: We avoided the bar entirely due to the ridiculous prices. We went to the wine tasting one evening because we thought it would be something special to do in the hotel, it cost €50 per person which is crazy given the cost in other local wineries. Location: you will need a car to get everywhere, it's very remote. All in all, I was happy enough with the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. I wouldn't return because it's very limiting being so remote, especially when the hotel is charging 3-4x the prices of anywhere else for food/drinks.

01/01/2026: A memorable December 31st: we ate outside even though it was raining, warmed by blankets, the fire, and above all by the attentive staff who pampered us until the very end. Jacqueline was an excellent hostess.

21/12/2025: What an experience ! Fantastic apetizer (sardinas fried to perfection with a simple home made mayonaise) and ensalata de bacalao with grapefruit and olives. My taste sense just exploded. Luckily there was a glass of the finest sauvignon to help getting back to earth 🙈😇. Delicious it was. Thank you very much.
