30/05/2025: Quality fish. Traditional dishes. Tubettoni with gurnard and mussels: excellent. Good and abundant fried food. Spaghettoni with garlic, oil and chilli pepper with cicadas: not convincing. The chilli pepper covers the delicate flavour of the cicadas. Wine, finally, with human markups. Correct price Overall a good dinner.

Piccolissimo neo: le sedie non sono comodissime. Con un cuscino si potrebbe renderle più confortevoli.

29/06/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend and I have to say, exquisite dinner! Reserved place and away from the chaos! Delicate and tasty swordfish rolls! Top fried calamari! Spaghetti La Spelonca delicious and super seasoned cooked al dente just how I like it! Linguine alla pescatora superlative! The staff is kind and attentive! Irene the owner very sweet and kind! The chef prepared and attentive even to the smallest details! If you are looking for a place where eating well is the priority do not hesitate!

29/06/2025: The best restaurant in the area! Very good food! We tried vegetable soup, paste with guanciale and pistachios, pork, chicken, seafood, desserts and every dish was delicious! We have been here several times. Nice atmosphere and polite service. I recommend!

19/05/2025: Strictly traditional place, impeccable service (set up at the table), unimaginative and rather aseptic cuisine, bland flavors. Nice outdoor pergola for sunny days, very noisy indoor rooms (sound absorbing panels would be useful). Prices too high for the quality of the cuisine, adequate for the great service of the staff.

12/05/2025: It's impossible to describe the deliciousness of everything. Try it and you will understand. In the photo, plin stuffed with cheese and pepper with hazelnut and prawn sauce, radiatori with Bra sausage, asparagine and caramelized cherry tomatoes, veal with two types of tuna sauce and salmon style I don't remember what but that was delicious too. I said praise to everything.

22/06/2025: I chose the Caesar salad hoping that the chef knows the famous recipe created by Cesare Cardini, an Italian who emigrated to Mexico. Instead of disappointment, ingredients such as parmesan and hard-boiled eggs were missing, the croutons were very dry and tasteless and the sauce seemed to have been bought at the supermarket. Too bad!

28/06/2025: Good food, decent service, only 1 person in the room, I presume the owner, we had booked with the folk, 20% discount on the bill, it was not done, we called and he replied that it is not done on Saturdays

26/06/2025: Excellent restaurant in one of the "hottest" areas of Milan. The atmosphere is an excellent balance between elegance and casual. The dishes are really good, you can feel the care, not to mention that it is a paradise for celiacs. All dishes are offered in both gluten-free and normal versions. Homemade focaccia (gluten-free), homemade desserts and every dish taken care of in the smallest details. The right portions, neither minimal nor too abundant. The attentive, competent and friendly restaurant manager is available for every need. The price is right for what you eat. Also, if you book with thefork you have the possibility of a discount. Definitely an excellent discovery in the area.

12/06/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Double Delight at Trattoria Il Bargello We dined at Il Bargello two nights in a row — and honestly, we’d go again tomorrow if we could. The first night, we had the most beautifully cooked Fiorentina steak, paired with a fresh, zesty salad and the dreamiest deep-fried artichokes — crisp, golden perfection. All gloriously washed down with a Brunello di Montalcino, of course. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and full of charm — the kind that makes you feel like a regular. And so we returned the very next night — and wow, it got even better. The chicken liver pâté was rich and velvety, the veal cheek fell apart with a whisper, nestled beside silky mashed potatoes you’d write home about. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù? Rustic heaven. Another bottle of Brunello (naturally), and we were in Tuscan bliss. Authentic, heartfelt cooking with impeccable wine, in a setting that feels both elegant and familiar. Grazie mille — we’ll be dreaming of this place long after we’ve left Florence.

08/06/2025: Our AirBnB host recommended this place on our first night in Florence and we loved it so much we went back for our last night. It’s a small trattoria located down a quiet ally all by itself. The wait staff is great, and with its red checkered table cloths and cosy atmosphere it’s felt like that Italian restaurant in Lady and the Tramp. We got the Fried bread coccoli with ham and stracchino soft cheese which is traditional to this area. The Angus carpaccio, and probably my favorite the Burrata cheese with shaved truffle. The main course was of course the Florentine T-bone steak which was cooked perfectly we went with 1.2kg for 3 people. Then desert was Sicilian cannoli, a very good Tiramisù but the star of the desert course was the Panna cotta. We watch a lot of Top Chef and I now know (just like Tom Colicchio) what a good Panna cotta should look and taste like, it was delicious. It was the most expensive place we ate in Florence but it was worth it (twice!). Or favorite place to eat in Firenze.

18/06/2025: It happens that one evening you decide to take a walk after dinner and while walking you realize that you have lost a piece of the house keys. So you start to go back and forth, because you can't give up, it's a dear memory, but it so happens that you start to feel an urge, but pretending nothing is happening you continue back and forth. At a certain point you just can't take it anymore, you really need to go "plin plin". You look around and see a restaurant, a little embarrassed you approach the entrance of the room and seek someone's attention. With not too much enthusiasm a gentleman in a blue shirt of average height approaches and you ask him the fateful question with a certain answer: "Excuse me if I'm a bother, I wanted to ask if I can use your dressing table?". And instead he surprises you and you hear him say "No, it's reserved for our customers". Having no other option you add: "I apologize, but I really need it!" Raising his arm with a gesture that seemed like Ma va a.... he says to me: "Mavaaaaa". Not caring, and not understanding if it was the indication or something else, I use the toilet, which is also very well-kept and clean, and within two minutes I leave, not missing the opportunity to thank him, but adding that he was not kind at all. Leaving I noticed that the place was full of people and the dishes, which were also beautiful, seemed appetizing, who knows, maybe one of these evenings I will come for dinner hoping to find more empathy and kindness. Nothing is owed, of course, but .... A 55 year old. PS I didn't even find the keys, it's not really my evening.
