I spent two consecutive evenings at this absolutely authentic trattoria in the heart of Ascoli Piceno, where I was on business. The decor is traditional. The food was good (the Ascoli olives "made with grandma's recipe," the tagliata, the desserts, and the pasta alla gricia were excellent). Federica, however, made the difference with her welcome, her smile, and her friendliness, which made me feel at home.

I had dinner last night with my husband and young daughter at this trattoria, and I have to say we had a great time. From the warm, family-like welcome we love, to the food, which was all delicious (the Ascoli olives were excellent, the tripe and lentils, the well-balanced orecchiette with broccoli first course, and a delicious warm potato cake). The quality/price ratio was also excellent. Highly recommended.

What can I say? We had dinner last night and we're still here talking about how good the food was and how pleasant the company was. I went with my wife and children. The staff, in addition to serving us excellent dishes (I recommend the gricia), also took care of entertaining the kids with crayons and paper. They were kind, friendly, yet professional. The atmosphere was rustic yet clean. I also recommend the grilled scamorza cheese.

We had dinner here during our stay in Ascoli Piceno. Really good food; the gricia was simply fabulous, and the tagliata and desserts were also very good. The staff were friendly, helpful, and helpful. Excellent service. Good value for money. I recommend it.

15/09/2025: A pleasantly surprising place with its decor and excellent products. I've been there a couple of times and enjoyed the food. The young waitress was friendly and helpful, as was another lady, while the owner, perhaps, was a little cold and unhelpful. A tip for the platter: for that price, add a little more (3 slices of fresh cheese, a small piece of sausage, 1 slice of Ciauscolo, and 2 thin slices of something else?). The wine is excellent, as is the price. It deserves a 5-star rating, but the lady's rude attitude keeps me from doing so. I'll be back anyway, and I hope she changes her attitude, or I'm just having a bad day.
12/09/2025: Express cuisine using quality ingredients. Dishes are served in just the right quantities, without frills or elaborate plating. Decor is somewhere between minimalist and a souvenir market. Service is eager but a bit hesitant. Good value for money.

20/07/2026: Having stumbled upon Ripatransone by chance, we were drawn to the traditional menu and given a magnificent welcome in this charming village. The ingredients are top-notch: cured meats, cheeses, and exquisite homemade Ascoli olives. The first courses are top-notch: a phenomenal gricia made by the son and the tagliatelle al forno by the mother were simply amazing. The moment when the lady shared the secrets of their ragù with us was also wonderful. A truly excellent experience, highly recommended! Greetings from Arianna and Francesco
15/07/2026: Excellent experience in this place, quality food and timely service despite the place hosting several customers, local wine of excellent quality and local cuisine dishes superb and also quite abundant.. definitely recommended
