24/05/2025: After a difficult day of travel, our meal and service here was just what we needed. Impeccable food, attentive servers and a relaxing atmosphere. Each course served outdid the previous one and I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite. Thank you!

25/06/2025: Hey you people staying in the Centro storico, take a taxi or walk to Lo Stravagante. Amazing hospitality and food. Carmine insisted we try the crème brulé and it was the best I ever had. Then he poured us a glass of his homemade limoncello and again, best I ever tasted by a mile! Amazing food, wine, atmosphere and conversation. I will find a way to come back to Lo Stravagante !!

10/06/2025: This is a seafood restaurant so other than side veggie dishes, there are no other options than seafood. The menu is relatively small. We ordered a couple of antipasto, side salad and sautéed spinach, tuna, seafood pasta, and fish of the day. Tuna was perhaps the best. Pasta is not handmade, and the fish is the most disappointing. It tasted bland, overcooked, and not particularly fresh. The services is so so. We asked for more water and the waitress forgot it. I will not recommend it or come back again.

20/06/2025: Ciao a tutti, a Stintino abbiamo cenato presso la Trattoria OPERA VIVA, sita vicino alla Piazza del Municipio. Locale ampio, con deor esterno coperto e arieggiato, tavoli ben disposti, personale cortese e preparato, pronto a soddisfare le tue richieste. Ottimo il menu offerto. Noi abbiamo scelto un formaggio alla brace come antipasto, che era o caprino o di latte vaccino cotto alla brace in due strati di pane carasao, veramente eccellente, poi un piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio con il pescato del giorno e un fantastico fritto misto. Il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima Icnusa non filtrata e acqua. Alla fine un dolce tipico sardo. Se vi trovate a Stintino, telefonate e prenotate un tavolo, ne rimarrete decisamente soddisfatti. 31/05/2025: Wow what a fabulous find, walking round found this as reviews were good, everything about it was fabulous, we had breads with olive oil, tordelli Al ragu x3 and baccala con porri, cod with leeks, 4 of us, all LOVED the food and great recommendations from the lovely staff, ended with tiramasu which was the best I've ever tasted in 64 years 😀 Thankyou ohhh and the wine recommendation Terra Bruna was spectacular AND we all said we didn't like polenta, chef asked us to try it and it was fabulous, we all LOVE your polenta THANKYOU xxxx

16/06/2025: On the fourth day of TMB hiking, I decided to rest in the town today. I was very happy to have such a delicious lunch! The staff here are very friendly and sunny, and I felt the enthusiasm and warmth of Italy. The environment is very good, the food is also very good, I will come again next time!

Went inside anyway because I was very hungry and all normal places around had full seating ( this was half empty) I was not mistaken every dish we ordered was bad, even toilet is unusable because not able to close the door. However prices are very low so if you want to have a quick bite it is ok I gues

01/07/2025: We came here for a late dinner. Ordered spaghetti carbonara with truffles and it was really delicious. Staff is really friendly and service is 10/10zl. Would definitely recommend especially for tourists, looking for something local with familiar taste.

03/07/2025: Super cute bar in downtown Tropea. We went here for cocktails almost every night and had a fun time every time. The staff are very friendly, and we got along really well with Fränzchen. Every drink comes with fruit or chips :)

16/06/2025: A really great cocktail bar. Great service, high-quality cocktails, and delicious. A snack is also served (it could be a small fruit platter or chips/nuts). My mocktails were also great. – And that's something I rarely experience!
