31/01/2026: Inspired by the excellent reviews, we decided to celebrate my husband's birthday at this restaurant. The only way to book was through the website, where they require advance payment (we opted for the €110 per person deal for six courses plus wine pairing), but we later understood why. Once we arrived, we realized the place was absolutely subpar, with a bad smell and inadequate bathrooms. But let's move on to the menu: bombastic, pretentious, and with unpleasant flavors, a "I'd like to but I can't" attitude, accompanied by subpar wines for each course (we looked up the labels online). Incredulous, we reached dessert, which we left untouched, and we left disappointed, realizing that most of the positive reviews are fake. One last point: the photos on the website are misleading and completely out of line with reality. Our only regret is that the waitress was helpful, however.

22/02/2026: We had an amazing experience at Hosteria Angeli & Demoni in Pozzuoli. The restaurant is set inside a historic Roman building, and the atmosphere is just incredible — beautiful stone walls, warm lighting, and a really special vibe that makes the whole meal feel unique. The tasting menu was fantastic. Every course was full of flavor, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into each dish. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff explained each course and made us feel completely at ease. We are attempting to learn Italian and even though the waiter spoke English he helped us with our Italian pronunciation. Very appreciated!! If you’re in Pozzuoli and want a memorable meal in a stunning setting, this place is a must. Can’t wait to go back!

08/02/2026: My favorite restaurant in Naples. The food is fantastic and the service superb. There fix menus are always a welcomed surprise and a great value. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting.

02/12/2025: My husband and I went for lunch last Sunday, passing through Pitigliano. I ordered an appetizer of cured meats and crostini, asking for nothing on one of the crostini except a drizzle of olive oil. They explained to me that this substitution wouldn't involve tasting the new olive oil (no one had asked for it), but "regular" oil. I wonder how much more this substitution would have cost compared to the livers on the menu. I found the comment really distasteful...thank goodness we were just passing through!

01/12/2025: Family outing, found this gem of an osteria. Excellent food, prompt and friendly service, warm and welcoming place, excellent value. I'd always go back, too bad we're not very close and we found it by accident!!! Thanks for everything.

04/11/2025: We had lunch here on our last day in Orvieto. We had focaccia with prosciutto, stuffed rabbit with a side dish, and pavlova. The food was very good, the place was very nice, and the service was attentive. Everything was great.

17/10/2025: We booked with The Fork. Excellent welcome. An unsolicited entree kicked off the meal. We asked for a carbonara with a pasta substitution, and they accommodated us without further ado. However, I found the carbonara a bit disjointed, although good. But my 10/10 goes to the Argentine Angus steak with soy sauce reduction. A stroke of genius.

11/11/2025: I was greeted with a lot of theatrics; I should have followed my instincts and left after reading the menu... The menu and prices aren't displayed outside. I ordered a ravioli dish, seven on a plate for 16 euros, which was served very quickly but was strangely cold and bland. My daughter had the same experience, and to top it off, the pasta dish was too salty. Also, they ask if you want still or sparkling water, but in the end, they serve you tap water (judging by the smell) in a mineral water bottle! In short, money down the drain.

A very charming place among the Sassi... clean and quiet. The atmosphere is lovely. The young man who served us was courteous, kind, and friendly; it was a real pleasure dealing with him. We ordered a local appetizer, a plate of orecchiette, a sliced ​​meat, and a dessert. Everything was excellent and with attention to detail. Prices were completely reasonable. Service was prompt. Quick enough and welcoming. I recommend it and hope to return!
