30/08/2025: I returned yesterday after a couple of years to celebrate the birthday of a dear family friend, and I can confirm the excellent food and quality of the ingredients, as well as the location (lunch on the terrace overlooking Civita), and the courtesy of the staff and managers. Personally, I found everything a bit too salty and over-seasoned, but that's because I tend to use very little salt and oil when I cook, so it's understandable. Everything was tasty, and I personally complimented the tomato bruschetta, which was well-seasoned and at room temperature rather than cold from the refrigerator. Congratulations! I'll definitely be back at the first opportunity.

27/08/2025: Excellent local cuisine. The fettuccine with fresh porcini mushrooms was truly delicious. The place is small but well-kept. We'll definitely be back.

14/08/2025: Seven of us had lunch, adults and children, and we were served excellently. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, and we saw a true Sicilian passion for traditional products and fine local wine. I recommend it if you're looking for a good, traditional yet sophisticated meal.

11/08/2025: A very quaint restaurant, you eat outdoors in a charming alley, lit mostly by street lights, which contributes to a simple yet pleasant atmosphere. Tables are set with paper tablecloths, and the service is very friendly and efficient. The menu is varied, offering a choice of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both seafood and meat. The flavorful and crispy fried foods are also delicious. We tried some more unusual options, such as the fried mussels and zucchini flowers (a portion of 6-7 pieces for 8 euros, perhaps a bit pricey). The portions are generally generous. We were less impressed with the tuna tartare: the pieces were a bit coarse, and I've certainly had better. The prices are fairly reasonable, especially considering the quality. At the end of the meal, we were offered an excellent homemade fennel liqueur. On a very negative note: the cover charge, in such an informal setting, is truly out of place and leaves one perplexed. Overall, a positive experience, but with a few details that could be improved.

10/08/2025: A family-run restaurant in the heart of Avetrana. It deserves more than 5 stars! The hospitality is excellent, like dining with friends, but that doesn't mean the professionalism is lacking—quite the opposite! Courtesy and knowledge. A charming, movie-like location, tables along the street, lights, plants, all on a street right in the center. The food began with fried mussels and breaded anchovies, two delicious courses, the fried food perfectly cooked with zero excess oil, followed by orecchiette with tomato and cacioricotta, a flavor reminiscent of grandma's dishes! The chicken breast was tender and beautifully seasoned, and finally, one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful evening we spent with you, and congratulations! Highly recommended. Reservations recommended.

27/07/2025: The Hotel Bellevue Syrene is an excellent choice for those seeking a romantic and refined location in Sorrento. The cuisine lives up to the setting: refined dishes, fresh ingredients, and special attention to those with food allergies. We dined overlooking the sea, enjoying raw seafood, lobster, and eggplant tortelli with stracciata. Recommended for those seeking the ultimate in relaxation, beauty, and quality. We'll definitely be back!

The fish was tasty, but nothing more. The service was excellent – ​​they'll even debone the fish for you. A glass of delicious wine upon entry. The pasta with shrimp was very good. If it weren't for the price of the fish, it would have been fine, but it's really, really overpriced.

The farm's and local products are expertly prepared, a wonderful blend of tradition, good, healthy, and beautifully presented food. The owners are very welcoming.

26/08/2025: I've been away for a few years, but despite the passing of time, the certainties remain the same. Chef Barbieri remains an artist like few others, innovative but never excessive. He doesn't stop at presentation alone, but his dishes always manage to achieve an unexpected depth of flavor, with never-trivial pairings. The restaurant is very elegant and discreet, where you can fully immerse yourself in this experience. I believe this is a local heritage worth safeguarding through passion, expertise, and humility. 01/08/2025: Great view - perfect AC for coworking on a hot day right across from Centrale - fast 100Mbps WiFi - Marriott points - fancy dog friendly - the best slightly crispy outside yet tender inside veal meatballs I’ve had in Milan (if you go in early afternoon right after lunch… they cook it fresh if you are one of the only customers - but the meatballs aren’t so great at dinner because they probably cook too many) - and if you’re lucky there’s a secret 0 proof menu and a waitress there who knows the secret recipes for healthy apricot kiwi smoothies!

07/09/2025: Staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered grilled squid, chicken breast, spinach and grilled mixed vegetables. All cooked very well. We didn't get the welcome bread or the biscotti at the end. Lively atmosphere. Rustic restaurant.

06/09/2025: I was referred by the hotel where I was staying on a business trip. I was amazed by the speed of service, despite it being a Saturday night and a full restaurant. The owner is incredibly kind and is practically EVERYWHERE, welcoming customers, at the cash register, taking orders, all with an old-fashioned kindness. While I wait, I was served slices of white focaccia (also made by the owner), fresh from the wood-fired oven, and I drizzled them with some excellent chili pepper oil that was on the table. I ordered a single dish: sliced ​​beef and radicchio risotto; the meat was buttery, expertly cooked and piping hot even in the rosiest spots, and the risotto was fantastic. Truly exceeded all expectations. I complimented the owner, who deserved it. Congratulations!
