27/08/2025: Excellent stay in this renovated former monastery. A unique location away from the main tourist routes, located 15 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. Spacious room with plenty of space to work on your belongings, comfortable bed, 2 towels provided, clean bathrooms. Hearty breakfast. It was perfect. I will return on my next visit to Venice.

26/08/2025: The rooms are spacious, no tv. It used to be a old monetary and you can appreciate the arquitecture of that era. Is a great place to be relax.

05/03/2026: Very small but very welcoming place. You could eat there just for the friendly waitress, but we recommend it for the food, which is fantastic. The Florentine steak melted in your mouth, and the freshly made tiramisu was delicious. Great experience 🔝

20/02/2026: Very good local trattoria in San Gimignano. We were here in winter so about 80% of the restaurants are closed. How do you know this one was authentic? Packed with locals at 8pm on a week night. Must try if you're in the area. Sausages with tomatoes and tusan beans was delicious, will be thinking of this meal for years to come.

03/01/2026: Everything was wonderful, from the food to the staff to the acoustics, which weren't at all loud despite the room being full and the (good) music playing. They were very attentive to my food intolerances and very friendly. I had dinner here with my boyfriend for our anniversary and we'll definitely be back!

16/03/2026: Really an amazing restaurant, I cannot reccomment this place enough! It has perfect location, charming view from a romantic terrace, wonderful stuff (Antonio is really one of a kind, his English the best I ever heard in Italy in 20 years…) and the food we had was delicious. Actually I was blown away the moment we entered the restaurant, as the waiter was immediately helping us with the babystroller and tried to distract our baby girl from having a tantrum in pouring rainy day in Siena. You can tell they know how to take care of their clients! The service only got better as they were ready to help us choose and in perfect English. We tried the seafood and also the burrata pasta and it was excellent. We saw other dishes that made us sorry we were there just for one day… We enjoyed their desserts, wine and the caffè granita too. The rain gave us enough time to savour it all… And all this time we felt welcomed, our baby included. We had no idea the restaurant had an amazing view and were able to see it as our waiter invited us to enjoy it with their umbrella despite the rainy day. His colleague even offered some interesting information about the city when he saw me looking at the pictures of Siena… they were very welcoming and professional, really a delight that made our visit so much better. All of them, the italian mamma from the kitchen as well. We will be back and congratulations to the owner, you have a real treasure. (Honest review of a demanding guest who looks for how the best service is delivered, as I got spoiled in Costa Smeralda. ;)) I came back later when the rain finally stopped for good to see the terrace once again as Antonio suggested, to know what to look for on our next visit. 02/03/2026: Stunning location. The photos speak for themselves, and they don't even do it justice. The atmosphere is refined, beautiful, and relaxing... not to mention the super friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. Eating with that view is truly satisfying, and the food is refined and delicious, as is the wine selection. It's not a cheap restaurant, but the location, the view, the atmosphere, and the quality of the food are worth every penny. I'll be back as soon as possible! P.S. Don't worry about parking. They have a small parking garage.

08/03/2026: Very good and well-prepared local food. I recommend the trattoria more than the pizzeria. The pizza is indeed of medium-high quality. But the real strength of this trattoria is the traditional Neapolitan food: pasta and potatoes, a swusita parmigiano, reheated in a wood-fired oven, Genovese, and much more!!!

01/03/2026: Best food we had in Napoli! About 2 weeks ago. Delicious carbonara, exactly perfect. All we ate was so tasty and delicious. We even forgot to take pictures of all the food as everything looked so yummy. Nice serving, amazing people. Moderate prices and very worthy. Grazie!

04/01/2026: A charming restaurant in Alassio, located on a narrow street parallel to the sea. I had a first course, a risotto, which was delicious; the others had crepes. The menus change frequently. The desserts are not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious. There's also outdoor seating. It's managed with kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend it.

11/03/2026: Long day, tired feet, one perfect plate, exactly what I needed. Landed in Verona after back-to-back meetings, laptop bag still on my shoulder, running on caffeine and willpower. The hotel recommended Lo Orologio and honestly it was the best decision of the whole trip. No wine tonight — early call tomorrow — just me, a quiet corner table, and the veal fillet with artichoke. Worth every minute of the walk. The fillet was tender and beautifully cooked, with that kind of understated elegance that doesn’t demand your attention — it just has it. The artichoke alongside was earthy and perfectly balanced, cutting through the richness in exactly the right way. Clean, honest, brilliant cooking. After a day like mine, you need a meal that slows you down and reminds you that not everything has to be rushed. Lo Orologio did exactly that. The staff were warm without being fussy, the atmosphere cozy enough to decompress, and the food did all the talking. Sometimes you don’t need the wine and the full experience.
