27/08/2025: Outstanding! I rarely write reviews, especially for good or bad reasons. This time, it would be a sin not to recommend this place. Superbly prepared fish cuisine, and a friendly and knowledgeable owner who personally serves and explains the details of the dishes. A must-have!

06/07/2025: The potato chips are expensive, but highly recommended. The bruschetta was also delicious, especially if you don't want the typical tomato-based version.

19/08/2025: We received a very warm welcome in this beautiful osteria. Very good service with a smile. No waiting, no rush. We ordered a light menu and a light menu plus 1 anti-parti. Everything was perfect. An excellent bottle of Dolcetto. In short, an experience to repeat on a future visit. I recommend it.

20/08/2025: Loved the interior. it’s lovely and elegant with a yellow theme. The pasta here is honestly some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from the US). I tried the vongole and the carbonara, and the carbonara especially surprised me. (They were all great) It totally changed my idea that it has to be really salty. Definitely recommend this spot if you want to taste real pasta 😋

09/09/2025: Dinner on the go.... I'm writing this review primarily for an off-menu dish that surprised me: fresh porcini mushroom salad with parmesan and arugula. I must admit... Truly special. It was all accompanied by a rosemary tagliata and a good glass of wine. Impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a refined and characteristic atmosphere. Bravo, Bacco Matto! You've left a lasting impression... thank you.

09/09/2025: A historic restaurant, not in the city center, with parking nearby, which is already a plus. The atmosphere is beautiful, modern, with tables spaced just right, the music at the right volume, and the ladies who served us were courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was excellent in every way (appetizers, first courses, and second courses), and the wine list was well-stocked!

10/09/2025: I went for a birthday dinner and the wait for the appetizers (which were undoubtedly already prepared) was 50 minutes! Too bad mine (ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers on zucchini pesto) was partly cold and partly scalding hot… I went to complain, especially about the wait, but, besides giving me a dirty look, they didn't even deign to answer me.

10/09/2025: Welcomed and accompanied by excellent service, you can sample truly excellent cuisine, with the second courses being better than the first courses, and a surprising cheese cart with a wide selection of excellent quality. To round out the meal, a beautifully presented dessert cart offers a mix of traditional Piedmontese wines and delicacies. The wine list is very solid, with both reds and whites, including a good selection of half bottles. It's worth repeating that the service is incredibly impeccable and complements the meal in a unique way. One small flaw, which nevertheless adds to the place's character, is the slightly dated furnishings. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: We had dinner here, and besides the lovely atmosphere, the staff was all very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. We had an appetizer for two, with fried pasta, cured meats, and cheese, ravioli lucchesi with radicchio, walnuts, and pecorino, and maltagliati with Cinta Senese ragù. Everything was delicious.

24/08/2025: If you're looking for a place to eat authentic, traditional local food, Taverna del Gusto is the ideal place. Fair prices, good food quality, and generous portions. The tables and ceramic plates used for outdoor dining are beautiful. Service is a bit slow, and the place isn't well-ventilated, creating a cloud of smoke from the kitchen. The owner was very accommodating to our requests and very friendly. We had scamorza with truffle, omelette with truffle, and fagioli all'uccelletto. Cacio, pepe e fave, lamb, and soups. All excellent. I don't have photos; we finished everything right away. I recommend it for a good meal!

02/08/2025: Good food in a charming atmosphere. Not exactly cheap, but worth it. About €65 per person (3 people) for 2 appetizers, 1 first course, 3 second courses, 2 desserts, 2 waters, and 1 wine. Decent portions.

04/07/2025: Always a guarantee. Good pizzas, excellent focaccia spadaccina. Fresh and tender fish. Fried food ok! For my personal taste the first courses are perhaps too delicate... I always add salt, but they are well cooked and well seasoned. After a year I confirm. Careful and good food Excellent atmosphere, you can talk, very kind staff. When I can it is my favorite place.

29/08/2025: A must-see when visiting Lecco. A restaurant steeped in tradition, with exceptional service, Italian flair, and a passion for good food. We've been there twice, but it was the steak tartare, which is always prepared right at your table, and the ravioli with freshly grated truffle that absolutely stole my heart. Both times, we grabbed a table in the garden, just before dusk. It's atmospheric, delicious, and there's no unbearable feeling of overeating afterwards. We always felt taken care of and welcomed from the moment we booked until we left. We highly recommend it!

29/08/2025: The food is fantastic. Truly Italian, top-quality fresh pastas made tableside with fresh ingredients. I was very impressed by the skill of the staff and everyone's passion. It showed on your plate. A true gem; if you go here, you won't be disappointed. Make sure to book in advance, otherwise it's packed. We sat in the courtyard on a beautiful summer evening. Perfect.

29/08/2025: Beautiful remote place in the winyards. Steak was good, a bit pricey though. Definitely take an anti-bug spray with you!

28/08/2025: We found the place by chance, and two of us showed up without a reservation. Nevertheless, we were greeted with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and kindness by the young and motivated wait staff. We ate exquisite food, to say the least: ravioli with pheasant ragù, duck breast, and pork belly, accompanied by excellent wines, from sparkling rosés as an aperitif to still wines like Amarone and Recioto. The selection of cheeses is presented with detailed explanations of each individual product, accompanied by honey, dried fruit, and homemade jams. The desserts are super delicious. The service was impeccable, attentive, and precise. The location is rustic yet very elegant. At the end of the dinner, we left thrilled with everything, promising to return soon. Well done, keep up the good work!

04/09/2025: Great hotel just a few kilometers from Alba. It also has a great restaurant. The breakfast was wonderful.
