26/08/2025: A great restaurant with a beautiful view (terrace). The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a hidden gem away from the crowds of Sorrento. I wholeheartedly recommend it; it's worth a visit!

23/08/2025: A positive experience at Antico Franceschiello. Upon entering, you sense the care and dedication to sharing stories, culture, and traditions. The decor is distinctive, and the service is meticulously crafted. The dessert trolley is enchanting. The only downside is perhaps the portions for the price; they could be a little more generous. Go anyway and immerse yourself in the Sorrento atmosphere, and above all, try the babà and delizia!

19/08/2025: Excellent restaurant overlooking the sea. Excellent shrimp and calamari skewers and excellent mixed fried seafood.

12/08/2025: Wide variety of choices from appetizers to desserts, exceptional raw seafood. Well-stocked wine list, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The wait between courses is a bit long, but that's understandable for express dishes at this level. Excellent value. Recommended.

31/08/2025: Today we stopped for lunch. The atmosphere was comfortable, with a very pleasant outdoor area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but above all, the food was delicious, featuring traditional Venetian dishes and more. Definitely worth a try.

15/08/2025: This elegant restaurant was discovered by chance, as it's just a few kilometers from Verona Airport. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is excellent, with meticulous attention to detail, including the presentation. A good value.

28/08/2025: This is a great place to try pizza with a twist. Flavours and styles to suit everyone and very good value for money. We sat outside which is great for people watching and though there were many empty tables early evening,the kitchen was very busy with take away orders. Andreas our main waiters was friendly, polite and accommodating and his female colleague made a couple of great recommendations from the menu. I would consider this place my 'go to' when ordering pizza and more whilst in Ortigia.

05/08/2025: My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time, serving a typically Piedmontese menu, remembering the positive experience we had a few years ago. Our impressions were absolutely confirmed, even though the menu has changed somewhat (perhaps due to the COVID pandemic, which, for example, meant they couldn't bring cold cuts and the like to the table on a board where everyone cuts their own portion and then passes it to another table: it was amazing!!!) It's not a place where you'd whisper between diners, but that's not the reason you choose Gemma's. The prices are still reasonable, the staff are friendly, and the owner is a fiery and indomitable woman! Keep up the good work, and we'll definitely be back (assuming we can book, which is the only real downside of this place!)

13/07/2025: An excellent, uncompromising osteria. The host is a unique character. The menu is simple, consisting of many small dishes, a great way to sample all the typical local products. Pasta isn't an option, but you won't miss it. Definitely worth a try!

25/08/2025: It may be a bit of a drive to get there, but it's worth it. The place is modern and welcoming, but its highlight is the veranda, which, when the sun is burning, offers a view you won't pay for. The service, too, is the kind that puts you at ease: always a smile, kindness, and it's those little things, like the complimentary liqueur at the end, that make you understand they really care. Here they make the pizza Neapolitan style, with a delicate, juicy crust, not the thin, dry one you find elsewhere. Those who like it that way will find it here made to perfection, with Bahian stuff on top. Even the desserts are no joke. It's a sincere place, for everyone, where you can eat heartily without being flayed, and they treat you as you deserve. I liked it a lot.

25/08/2025: We came at Sunday evening without a reservation. Had to wait about 10 minutes. Ordered a pasta al cinghiale, pizza with salmon and a small salad, and a jug of red beer. The service was quick and polite, the food was really delicious. The place have some funny quotes or sentences on the walls. Really nice place, recommended.

31/08/2025: We had a quick dinner because we had an event to attend. Excellent food and impeccable service. The only thing that made me smile sadly was the "electricity and gas" item on the bill. The law doesn't require it, and it shouldn't be displayed.

26/08/2025: Overall, a good restaurant, but I would have expected something more considering the price. The dishes are good; I had the risotto cooked in a cheese mold, more for show than anything else. Pork pluma with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions. Good but nothing exceptional; the side dishes weren't well-mixed, with some bites having too much vinegar. The red wine was served too hot, as it was taken from the shelf in the dining room. Friendly staff.

17/08/2025: Cannoli with family-owned ricotta: a true delight!

08/08/2025: Delicious, simple cuisine, with a fresh ricotta starter accompanied by a few olives, and a choice of two pastas: one with Sardinian sauce, perfectly balanced, and the other with melanzane, cooked like a caponata. It's perfection. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, the service is fast, the service is intimate, and it's inexpensive: all-inclusive with a drink is €15 (€25 with a larger starter and dessert). What more can I say? Go for it!

07/07/2025: We had a little dinner in this very nice place and we took a cutting board with some very good cheeses and really special cold cuts, too bad there were really too few. The food was pleasant but it didn't excite me as I would have expected from the reviews, a first course for €18 must be delicious, not acceptable. Amazing innkeeper, too bad I can't say the same about the rest of the team.

08/07/2025: Tuscan restaurant with original and delicious dishes. Mostly rustic and meaty dishes. Fresh ingredients, meticulous preparation. Excellent wines. Service was a bit curt, but attentive and precise. Good value for money. Her companion praised the atmosphere of the beautiful dining room. She particularly liked the "sausages and fagioli"; however, with the "tomato soup," she would have appreciated a clearer indication that it was, in fact, a rather coarse tomato and bread stew.
