14/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. We arrived with our baby in a stroller and, instead of being greeted normally like any other customer, we were placed at a table outside the main dining room, practically in a corner between the entrance door, the fish refrigerator, and the coat check. An uncomfortable, cold, and undignified place to eat, which made us feel distinctly left out just because we had a baby in a stroller. In 2026, it's unacceptable for a family to be treated this way. A restaurant should welcome all customers with respect, not relegate them to a corner as if they were a problem. An experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return. Perhaps it would be helpful to remember that a child isn't a nuisance, but simply another customer. PS: I chose to give two stars only because I want this review to be read and seen by as many people as possible. If it were based on the experience I had, the score would have been zero.

03/03/2026: I'm sharing this review for those of us who, like us, chose to organize a business dinner as a social gathering outside of work, but found ourselves having to manage different dietary requirements. We booked several weeks in advance, immediately notifying them that there would be a vegan and a vegetarian at the table. We were assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the restaurant, the person in charge of welcoming us seemed clearly struggling to offer suitable alternatives. The result was that one person dined on a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a pumpkin cream soup. Considering that, with a bottle of budget-friendly wine, we spent around €70 each, we would have expected more attention and care, especially after having communicated our needs in advance. The staff was friendly, and we understand that vegan cuisine isn't the restaurant's focus. However, there was a certain superficiality in the handling of our request, both in terms of the variety of options and in relation to the overall cost of the evening.

20/01/2026: A charming restaurant right in the city center, offering meat and fish dishes, plus a couple of vegetarian options. Everything was delicious, and the waiter was incredibly kind and friendly (plus the prices are fair). I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

01/03/2026: When we got to this restaurant, we found ourselves up a flight of stairs that weren't easy to climb. After a while, they helped us, and it was fine. Immediately afterward, the super polite and good girl took our order, and from there, after placing the order, we heard her say. But was that all they ordered? Let's assume everyone orders what they want, since we had a late breakfast. We also didn't like the pasta at all. I didn't want to say anything at the time, for the sake of peace, but there are definitely less starred restaurants with much better food. Never again. P.S. (Treat the dining room staff well, because she would go up and down without stopping on her own. And it's not like if she's talking to me and there are dishes in the pass, she has to drop everything to carry the dishes.)

01/03/2026: On a romantic family weekend, we went to this restaurant, which was a wonderful discovery! We even ordered the lunch menu and were very pleased! Typical Sardinian cuisine, with such friendly staff that we'll definitely be back when we return to Alghero! Highly recommended, and congratulations on your cuisine—we couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you!

04/01/2026: Excellent hotel/restaurant along the road leading to Volterra from Pomarance, 10 km before Volterra, in the Saline di Volterra area. Great Florentine steaks, 1 x 2 steaks weighing more than 1.3 kg, 2 first courses, pici, wild boar, and octopus, 2 small carafes of wine, coffee. Rich and inviting menu, featuring traditional Tuscan dishes. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, wines, bottles, half bottles, glasses, and carafes.

18/10/2025: A must-try experience for meat lovers. The Maremma beef Florentine steak was delicious! We opted for the tasting option, and it was truly an excellent choice. It was all paired with Bolgheri wine, highly recommended! Next time, we'll have to try the famous Japanese beef, which isn't always available, though. Prices are in line with the products offered.

18/10/2025: Fantastic dinner! We went to Risto-Macelleria San Marino for an evening with friends. They offered us a set menu with appetizers, two first courses, various cuts of meat, side dishes, wine, and dessert. Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection! 23/02/2026: Best vegan place I've ever been! Even more beautiful and interesting than it looks in the photos. You can eat a vegan buffet for about 3.20 per 100g, which means that for less than €40 per person, we ate a lot of very high-quality vegan food, including water and dessert. The staff is extraordinary. The selection was endless: soy strips, seitan, tempeh, legumes, lasagna, cereals, bread, vegan cheese, sautéed vegetables, rustic vegan frittatas... And so on. The variety of food often featured some ingredients even repurposed in different versions, like the fake soy meat, which went from an Indian-style curry to its Italian counterpart, a scallop with mushrooms! A true delight. I also highly recommend the tempeh carpaccio: a real hit. Soft, fresh, slightly acidic; lively, complex flavor. Addictive. The system is simple: you come in, sit down, go to the counter, grab your plate, and start helping yourself to whatever you want. Then, go to the scale, and the attendant will weigh it. Every time you want more, you'll need to repeat the same procedure, and enjoy your meal. At the end of the meal, you'll pay the bill. You can also do the same with take-out trays. These are the businesses we need to support, which champion a vision of vegan eating that transcends stereotypes, where food truly matters: its preparation, the ingredients, the attention to detail. A vision where food satisfies the palate as well as the eyes, but above all, fills us up, leaving us satisfied and happy throughout the day.

22/02/2026: A very nice place in a less touristy area. They have an all-vegetarian buffet, where you can add whatever you want to your plate and then pay by weight. The dishes we ate were all delicious, flavorful but not overly spicy. I recommend it, but I recommend booking in advance. The staff is very friendly.

25/02/2026: When we want oysters, raw fish, and seafood in general, we come here. The platter, flambéed scallops, gratinated razor clams, and Catalan-style lobster are all very good. Various mussel options are available, both in half- and one-kilo versions. Good wines and champagnes, with low markups. Recommended.
