10/06/2025: Found by chance returning from a trip to the lake, we don't live far from here and wanted a quiet place to eat something genuine with the flavors of the past... it was a real surprise, a nice place with a history behind it, managed by competent and kind people including the staff, excellent and special foods all accompanied by an excellent house wine. 07/06/2025: Nowadays, finding a dish that surprises you and makes you discover totally new flavors is definitely not easy. For this I am grateful to the chef. For example, I think that the spaghettoni with anemones and sea urchins can only be tasted here and it is really worth it! And in any case, all the dishes are prepared with care and attention to the raw materials. Just to give an example, for each dish the oil with which it is prepared is mentioned!

01/06/2025: Excellent. I don’t have a lot to say but this: The service is exceptional, the chief comes to present you your dishes, and everyone is nice. When it comes to the food, it’s simply amazing. And for the place itself, it’s decorated with taste and the place is calm.

10/06/2025: We had zuccini flower with a ham - so godlike; it’s perfect for a starter, and truffle pasta with salsiccia with onion and truffle ia a very nice combination and don’t forget to order a cheesecake, it’s also a masterpiece. Our waiter Marco was a one in a thousand - cheerful, happy, helpful and lightened up our day!:) highly recommendable!:)

28/06/2025: The place is nice and right in the historic center, characteristics that attracted us to stop. Kind service even if confusing. But it had really been years since I ate like this: the crostone with the ciauscolo covered abundantly in honey, so much so that I couldn't finish it, very fatty and tasteless pork steak. We were disappointed by the food.

30/06/2025: There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was superb. Gourmet as much as you want but, filling. Impeccable service, the owner is a nice person, as are the waiters, very competent and informed about what you have on your plate. The four of us spent €220: three appetizers, 4 first courses, two Pavlova for dessert: very good. Bottle of Valtellina superiore wine, a sparkling water, a still water. Four coffees offered. The quality of the food was excellent, €55 per person is well worth it.

16/06/2025: We chose the Appaloosa Ranch to celebrate our daughter's First Communion... and we couldn't have made a better choice! Everything was perfect: an original location, surrounded by nature and with attention to detail, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff was friendly, helpful and super prepared, accommodating all our requests. A special mention for the cuisine, truly excellent: genuine, high-quality dishes, many of which were made with zero-mile products. Each course had the authentic flavor of things made with love. We received sincere compliments from all the guests, who were enraptured by the original setting, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We initially discovered the Ranch while looking for a place to go horseback riding, and we discovered much more: a simple, true reality, with the flavor of the old days. A place that really deserves to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site for how it manages to combine authenticity, hospitality and tradition. I wish there were more places like this! We had a great time and it will definitely remain our point of reference ❤️
