A typical Venetian trattoria offering all the traditional dishes with quality and kindness! The best creamed cod I've had in Venice! (I've tried it in every restaurant I've been to) the bigoli in salsa were spectacular, with a unique flavor! The recommended wine was excellent, and the waiter's kindness in finding alternatives for a vegan guest was a real plus! Plus, there's a beautiful internal garden with a perfect atmosphere on these warm evenings... Highly recommended! The price is in line with what's on offer! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

A wonderful experience at Trattoria Misericordia! The food is excellent, with that authentic flavor we seek in Venice. Furthermore, the service was impeccable and very welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a memorable meal!

Delicious seafood - both risotto and spaghetti. Right by the canal at an excellent environment. Every server was super friendly. Top 3 restaurants in Italy!

Waiter Peter was an absolute stand out. He was passionate about food and wine. Pulled up a chair to discuss options with us. We had spritz, vegatalee appetizer (boiled and grilled) and rossotto with sea food. At first I was disappointed by being seated in back courtyard. Not canal side. That changed quickly with Waiter Peter. Awesome, awesome service. We wanted to get away from tourist vibe. Place hits the spot. Bravo Peter!

Charming little place with excellent food and service. We enjoyed sitting outside with the afternoon breeze and the beautiful view. Our waiter was great, funny and professional adding to the charm of the restaurant. Our food was just amazing. We will come back on our next trip to Venice.

19/12/2025: We just had a great experience dining in Trattoria Valmarana. Both of our servers were really nice and the food was incredible! I wasn’t sure what to order and the pasta recommendation that server gave was so delicious! It was probably the best pasta I’ve ever had 🥹 Would definitely recommend 😊
