13/06/2025: We spent our anniversary dinner here and were pampered by the staff, all very attentive to service: helpful and very knowledgeable especially in their knowledge of the wine cellar (exceptional). Exquisite food: we were impressed by the chicory tempura (brilliant!) and the ravioli of the day with duck filling... a gem in the heart of the historic center of Ferentino

19/06/2025: Locale semplice e servizio perfetto. Il cibo una garanzia! Abbiamo privato vari piatti: caponata, pasta con le sarde, matriciana di tonno, pasta al ragu di polpo, ...tutto buonissimo. Forse suggeirei meno aglio nel pesto alla trapanese ma solo per quieto vivere postcena 🤣

23/05/2025: La Caupona Taverna di Sicilia” è una piccola osteria che racchiude tutto il calore, la passione e l’autenticità della tradizione trapanese. La location è centralissima, perfetta per una sosta dopo una passeggiata tra le bellezze storiche della città, e già varcando la soglia si percepisce l’atmosfera intima e accogliente del locale. La cucina è affidata alla talentuosa Chef Rosi, che propone piatti della tradizione siciliana eseguiti con grande cura e passione. Il pesce è freschissimo, selezionato ogni giorno, e ogni piatto riflette una profonda conoscenza del territorio e delle sue eccellenze. Dai classici cous cous di pesce agli antipasti di mare, ogni portata è un piccolo capolavoro. Un altro punto di forza è l’eccellente selezione di vini locali, curata con attenzione per valorizzare al meglio ogni sapore. In sala, Claudio è una vera guida: con competenza e cortesia descrive ogni piatto con passione e propone abbinamenti enologici impeccabili, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più coinvolgente. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è sorprendente: qualità altissima, servizio impeccabile e prezzi onesti, una combinazione sempre più rara. Un indirizzo da non perdere per chi cerca un’autentica esperienza gastronomica siciliana, in un ambiente semplice ma pieno di anima. Consigliatissimo!

23/06/2025: This was, at best, a mixed experience on a Sunday evening. We ordered an appetizer but didn't get it. Despite the hefty price tag of €16, the gamberetti on the Federico Fellini pizza were extremely thin (7 pieces). The spaghetti alle cozze was good. Overall, the restaurant left us with a somewhat disorganized impression.

31/05/2025: Here you will find the kindest service, but for this a special thanks to a special person for me. We were here last year, again this year and if we come back next year, we will come back again, I promise. The pasta, pizza and burgers are all 10/10. I can only recommend this place for both the price and the quality. I simply call this place the flavors of Italy and Sicily.

20/06/2025: Simone was an absolute delight. We had a beautiful layed back no rush lunch. Food had exquisite flavours of typical tuscan cousine. Wine was picked by Simone, the owner and it was perfect. Dinner was a festival of flavours again, all home made and to highest standards. To echo the street festival hapening outside. 29/06/2025: We started with the best assumptions, seeing so many good reviews... It was not an experience to recommend, starting from the reservation: "but will there also be arrosticini?", "of course"... Spoiler: there were, but they are separate and cost 15 euros per portion 😅 As soon as we arrived, the waiters welcomed us in a rather casual and distracted manner, but maybe because it was Saturday?! Next to us, a couple from the north; they start arguing among themselves about the quality of what they are eating, they answer in a piqued manner to the waiter and continue the experience. Intrigued, more than worried about the thing, we continue. To try a bit of everything, I choose the menu with first course and my girlfriend the menu with meat. Total 35 each. The appetizer, unfortunately a little reduced, but still good. Immediately after receiving the appetizer, one of the waitresses begins to ask, in a not entirely polite manner, at each table (even those already served for a while), the name of the reservation. What can I say... Maybe it would have been better to ask before seating people, as well as serving them. The first course follows: pasta with sauce, cooked unevenly. I must say, definitely not a pasta from a trattoria or restaurant. Finally, apotheosis: plate of meat, with 3 slices in a cross, salad and potatoes. Let's draw a veil over the meat and let's not even talk about the salad and potatoes that, more than the oven, have knowledge of the dish in which they will have been left for at least 2 days. Not satisfied, we go so far as to ask if anything else was planned. They then brought us a Macedonia, neither praise nor infamy. In short, are you tourists? Italians? Are you used to good food? Avoid! 35 euros is really a lot for a dinner like this, considering the overall quality is absolutely not up to par...

02/07/2025: I went to dinner this evening, the place is beautiful! Outdoors in the historic center of Lucca. The staff was very kind, knowledgeable and super helpful! The food is very good and quality, a truly incredible place! Highly recommended!

Warm, typical mountain atmosphere and friendly service that makes you feel at home. Ideal for both lunch after a day on the slopes and for dinner with friends. 18/06/2025: I was looking for a restaurant with a view of the lagoon, and the reviews and photos convinced me, but when we got there, we were delighted with the place, the food, and the staff. Highly recommended. We ordered burrata with tomatoes and basil and seafood risotto. It had to be for at least two people. Everything was delicious, accompanied by an Aperol Spritz.

16/06/2025: Visited this restaurant more than once. The carbonara was perfect. Tiramisu was also great with attention to appearence. View is also spectacular.

18/06/2025: A pleasant discovery. We chose the Omakase menu: 4 courses from appetizer to dessert chosen by the chef, some even off the menu. All good, but I found slightly bland flavors that did not impress me as I imagined. Given the policy of seasonality of ingredients, I will definitely try it again to try to add a star. Service could be improved, the guy in the dining room was prepared and kind, sometimes a little excited. Small and very welcoming place. Ideal for an intimate evening.
