The menu offers an excellent selection of meat and fish dishes, prepared with quality ingredients that will fill you up, savoring a variety of traditional and revisited combinations, and digesting them without feeling heavy.
I highly recommend this experience.
The delicate, romantic, and quiet atmosphere is ideal for a dinner for two.

It's very busy, but the friendly, multi-faceted staff works together seamlessly and has everything under control.
08/06/2026: It's more like a canteen than a restaurant (the inside). The service is assembly-line style. The food is really bland. We ordered lasagna and gnocchi, both dishes were tasteless; it's quite surprising that you couldn't even taste the cheese...

13/07/2026: Fantastic shop with a great selection and very friendly staff. I bought a bottle of wine with “Maratea” on the label as a souvenir. I definitely don’t recommend traveling with it in a car though, mine exploded (it was not hot in the car, and was not jeeps in the sunlight) .. ☹️ ! Not exactly the souvenir experience I had in mind, but at least it made for a memorable story. Highly recommend the shop!

06/06/2026: We went to eat, guided by the view and we did NOT get it right, expensive price for the food you get.
The pasta was very overcooked and I would like to point out that the carbonara that one of the people ordered (who is a big fan of carbonara) seemed to him to be the worst carbonara he has ever ordered.
The service was correct, the place was beautiful. The bathroom was DISGUSTING.
We do not recommend it
06/06/2026: This is my go-to restaurant every time I come to Florence! The food is amazing, and the staff are so lovely. It is just a few minutes walk from the duomo and the tower, and a lovely spot to sit in the evening. The gnocchi is the best I have ever eaten, so light and really flavoursome sauces - I have already come back twice this visit to Florence. Definitely recommend!

21/06/2026: Ristorante Giovanni is a must-try for those seeking quality cuisine in an elegant and refined setting. The dishes exude attention to the finest ingredients, with fresh, authentic flavors that showcase tradition.
The risotto alla certosina deserves a special mention, truly excellent and prepared with great balance. The wine list is also excellent, made even more enjoyable by Maria's recommendations, who always puts guests at ease and suggests the most suitable pairing with expertise and passion.
The atmosphere is refined but never formal, perfect for both a special dinner and a quiet evening. A place I'd happily recommend and always return to.

15/05/2026: A great vegan and biological restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance the first time we travelled to Verona, and now whenever we travel through Italy, we make a point of stopping in Verona to go to this restaurant. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and there’s a wide selection.
The first time we went was for lunch on a weekend; it was very crowded then, so I’d recommend making a reservation on weekends. The last time we went was for lunch on a weekday; the restaurant wasn’t too busy then.

10/07/2026: Very good dinner with mostly Italian food. Outside was very nice in the summer - lots of tables in the garden but seems like that requires reservations. We ate inside and it was a nice atmosphere. Good food and nice portions, also had a salad which we have not seen in many places around here.

Steak of origin matured by @dariocecchinimacellaio Dario Cechini, the most famous butcher in the world!

11/07/2026: Thanks to a recommendation from Faouzi, who speaks Polish, we visited the Al Braciere restaurant. He assured us of a high-quality dinner, and we were not disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised – the food was delicious, everything fresh and perfectly prepared.
Our server was Mimo, who was very professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail.
I wholeheartedly recommend Al Braciere!
