14/04/2026: On the recommendation of the B&B where we were staying, we booked a 5:00 PM dinner for two, one of whom was celiac. Despite the short notice, they were able to serve us excellent dishes, including gluten-free options, minimizing the difference between the dishes. The portions might be considered small, but given the complexity of the preparations and flavors, they're considered adequate. Everything was more than excellent, including the recommended wine.

Seby Sorbello's cuisine showcases each ingredient with great precision, without excess but with a well-defined personality. Sea and land interact harmoniously in every dish, expressed through balanced contrasts and refined textures. The spaghetti is excellent, intense and balanced, as is the dessert, delicate and never cloying, an elegant conclusion to the meal. The presentation is also meticulously crafted, simple and refined. The service is attentive, discreet, and always punctual, while the wine list intelligently complements each course. A restaurant that combines technique, flavor, and identity, leaving a lasting and pleasant memory. Recommended for those seeking refined yet authentic cuisine.

13/05/2026: Excellent and plentiful food! The first courses were truly excellent; I recommend the wild boar ragu. (It's a shame the tigelle and gnocco fritto contain milk, and I unfortunately didn't get to try them, but my companions were very satisfied.) The staff were helpful and friendly!!

12/04/2026: I found the place very welcoming and well-maintained. The location is strategic and undoubtedly a great place for a Sunday lunch or just a casual meal. The tigelle and crescentine were delicious. We shared an appetizer with excellent cold cuts, then moved on to the first courses. Both the tagliatelle with ragù and the green tagliatelle with mushrooms were exquisite. The portions were generous and well-made. For the second courses, we chose the beef tagliata and the pork fillet with mushrooms. It's a shame that the beef fillet we had chosen was unfortunately unavailable. The second courses were inviting and tasty, and we chose to accompany them with grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and froggione. Everything was delicious, and the portions were so generous that we couldn't finish them all. The wines were excellent for the courses we chose. The service was friendly and pleasant. Very quick and helpful. Recommended.

02/05/2026: I brought my group of ladies here for dinner during our tour, the service and foods were excellent! One waiter, one buser, and Chef Alfonso in the kitchen handled a full house of guests very well!! The foods came out very quickly, we got a table on the terrace with a beautiful view! Could not say thank you enough to everyone involved and made my group feel so welcomed!

01/05/2026: We had lunch today and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable; the waitress who served us was very kind and welcoming, both to us and our little one. The food was overall very good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The only thing I'd improve a little? Perhaps increasing the number of appetizers on the plate, or perhaps adding a little more to the appetizer mix would be appreciated. Thank you 😊

02/05/2026: We've been in the Veneto for the past month and I had the best meal I've eaten since we arrived - branzino with roasted vegetables. It was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were crispy with herbs and lemon juice and it was not very expensive. The cook here is fabulous.

11/05/2026: The true "Agri Turismo of Puglia". We booked in the morning for lunch. The retired father kindly gave us a tour of the farm. From the barn to the table! Set menu: cured meats, cheese, meats, and wine. Just 1 km from Alberobello, a must-try!

04/05/2026: My husband, our two children, and I dined at this restaurant last night after a busy day spent walking among the Sassi of Matera. We were greeted by kind and attentive staff, with prompt service. The pizza was excellent, the fries were special, and the "sausage of the beggar" was delicious. My husband and I ordered it first, followed by a portion of Van Gogh bruschetta—exceptional! The owner, Bartolomeo, was exceptionally kind, making us feel at home and pampered. Before leaving, I confided in him about my passion for Vincent Van Gogh. He accompanied me into the dining room, which, surprisingly, was decorated with wonderful reproductions of Van Gogh's paintings. He proudly told me about them and showed me the wines, which bear artistic labels. What more can I say?! Between the deliciousness of the dishes, the beauty of the setting, and the owner's extraordinary kindness, it was an experience that left us with a wonderful feeling of well-being! If we ever return to Matera, we'll definitely eat here, with the pleasure of greeting Bartolomeo and savoring more of his delicacies!!!! Ps: fair prices and generous portions.

07/06/2026: Super local food. Friendly and informal service. Small but very charming place, full of curious objects. We ordered a platter and two first courses accompanied by water and a glass of wine, followed by two desserts. Everything was good and tasty for a total of just over €50. I highly recommend it. A little tricky to get to if you're coming from the surrounding villages, but it's definitely worth it.

30/05/2026: We booked for 9:30 PM and still had to wait to be seated. The service was very rushed and unresponsive, even though the wait for our dishes was quite long. Our two starters arrived after 11:00 PM (and at different times, too). The food was truly excellent; we would have liked to order main courses as well, but given the time and the kitchen, which seemed in a hurry to close, we decided against it. The bill was a bit high for the service we received, which definitely didn't match the quality of the food they serve.

04/06/2026: A true osteria, the kind you're unlikely to find anywhere else these days. We tried the Bigoli with cod and the tagliatelle with white asparagus, both off-menu. Everything was excellent, from the pasta to the sauces. Prices and portions were absolutely reasonable, highly recommended.
