We stumbled upon it by chance (someone had recommended another place to us, but it was love at first sight!! The owner, "pure kindness," immediately connected with our granddaughter.... From that moment on, everything was perfect... but the tasting menu pleasantly surprised us and was very much appreciated!! We can't say we'll be back soon... we're too far away... but we can say we'll recommend it to all our friends who come to Caltagirone!! Thanks for the lovely evening!! We came at the end of the day for drinks on the large terrace: a very pleasant atmosphere in a sunny spot, perfect! The service is professional; they really take care of their customers here. Attentive and responsive to our needs, we were completely satisfied. We toasted with a very good fortified wine and a local beer, accompanied by tasty chips and appetizers—the perfect finishing touch ;) We had a lovely chat with the waiter (who was from our region of France ;) A very pleasant experience, a great find in Caltagirone!

We had a wonderful time at Anima e core (soul and heart – the restaurant's name is very fitting!). Excellent Sicilian cuisine and impeccable service! A must-try!

05/08/2026: The portions were a good size for us. Fast service. Outside on a terrace with lemon trees. Very pleasant atmosphere. The dishes were delicious, especially the fish. We will definitely be back. Fresh fish and excellent value for money. We had a starter and a main course.
04/08/2026: The ladies in the dining room were very kind and friendly, two true Catanese. Unfortunately, the dinner was disappointing; the portions of the set menu were not generous. The fish was good, fresh, and well-cooked, but we split the menu, which unfortunately wasn't enough.

18/07/2026: Pleasant location, delicious food, and a special mention for the service and the extremely kind and helpful staff. Special thanks to Miss Marika, who met my needs with kindness, skill, and professionalism!!! I'll definitely be back!
17/07/2026: We stayed with our family (2+2) for 1 night. The food in the restaurant was very tasty (risotto excellent, burrata very delicious). Breakfast was limited but very tasty (fresh pineapple juice!) and very delicious homemade bread and pastries! (Thank you to Lucy and Lloretta).
