A delightful trattoria in the center of Vicenza, just a few minutes' walk from the Basilica Palladiana. This historic trattoria is recommended; reservations are recommended, otherwise you won't find a table. I had the bigoli with Vicenza-style cod, which was truly delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommended.

A good old-fashioned restaurant. A relatively short menu with items reflecting the local flavors of the Veneto region. A few off-the-menu items were also included, which I found to be a real hit – e.g. lasagna with pumpkin and Asagio cheese. The baccala with croutons was equally delicious – filling, creamy, and aromatic. The restaurant's interior evokes warm home cooking – all wood and decorated with old photos/engravings of Vicenza. During my stay, the only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning, and the temperature rose by more than 1 degree Celsius during my stay (the electronic thermometer on the wall was rather accurate). The prices were more than reasonable compared to restaurants in the city center. The staff spoke English.

A timeless osteria, with a quiet, refined atmosphere and family-run atmosphere. Very good food, and you can immediately tell they're focused on quality, not quantity. The bigoli with cod are phenomenal 👍🏻

An authentic Italian culinary experience. It was busy enough that people were being turned away as there wasn't enough tables - all locals. Excellent food!

A historic restaurant in Vicenza, so the atmosphere is dated and rustic but refined. The food is traditional and good, with well-prepared dishes and generous portions. The staff was attentive, quick, and polite. We had a great time. We hadn't booked, but they welcomed us and served us promptly.

A true osteria. Abundant, well-cooked food at more than fair prices.
Bigoli with duck deserves an A+.

A popular osteria located on the edge of Vicenza's city center. It has a very homey atmosphere and is a typical Italian restaurant that quickly fills up with local regulars.
I had the Vicenza specialty, baccalà pasta, here, and it was incredibly delicious in its simplicity! The saltiness of the baccalà was perfect and it paired wonderfully with the pasta. 👌 It was an unforgettable dish!
The prices are very reasonable, reflecting local tastes, and the food is excellent. Look for the bicycle sign. Reservations might be recommended if you definitely want to eat there.

Typical Vicenza cuisine. We recommend the creamed cod as an appetizer and the bigoli with duck ragù. Fair prices.

Highly recommended!!! We had sardines in saor, Vicenza-style cod, and bigoli with duck ragù, and I'd go back today to eat them again!! Very good in flavor and portions (like a tavern, really!)
The only flaw: as soon as you take your last bite, they're ready to take your plate away!!!! 😁😁
