16/04/2026: Overall, a positive experience. The meat was good and well-cooked, with a variety of options on the menu, including sandwiches, cuts of meat, and combination platters. Generous portions and fairly fast service, even at busy times. The atmosphere is casual, ideal for a dinner with friends or family. Average prices, in line with the type of restaurant. There's a bit of a wait during peak hours, but nothing excessive. Overall, a solid choice for a simple, tasty dinner.

10/11/2025: Family-run place. I often go there for breakfast and know that from 12:00 to 2:30 they offer a fixed-price meal service with a talented Italian staff. I often go there with friends and family. It's also a great place for small snacks. The people are nice, and I've never encountered any thugs. Also suitable for families with children. 14/03/2026: The first Japanese restaurant to open in Ponte Tresa, and the best! The food is extremely high quality, with always fresh ingredients and often handmade by them (see Ravioli and Samurai Sticks, for example). A vast selection of wines, with many labels, for all budgets, at very fair prices. Elegant atmosphere with a Michelin-starred restaurant design. The owners are extremely kind and available to meet your every need. What can I say? I've been to them all, both in the area and beyond, but few have wowed me like Yama. I highly recommend it. P.S.: For those complaining about the wait, if you're used to all-you-can-eat, where you receive your food immediately because it's already been ready since the morning... well, this place isn't for you.

16/12/2025: Reading other reviews makes me feel less alone... Last night I ordered a calzone to go, asking for sausage instead of salami. When it came time to pay, I was surprised by the €12 price tag for a calzone, and the response, identical to others I've read, was that extra ingredients are added to the bill, while those removed are not. A real joke! So much so that I picked up my takeout box, saying a FINAL goodbye to the pizza chef. I complimented him, though, because he knows how to make pizza, but he'll never see me again. The only response you can give to those who make unpopular decisions (in my opinion) is to let them go their own way. They'll have their customers, who like to pay for what they don't eat, and I won't be one of them.

08/12/2025: The pizza is delicious: soft dough, quality ingredients, and plenty of it. It's truly worth it, and the crust filled with ricotta is a must-try.

18/05/2025: Beer house with a good selection of beers, large space both inside and outside. Poorly managed internal acoustics: the voices of the customers create somewhat annoying resonances, which hinder conversation. Kind and efficient staff, recommended especially in the summer.

09/04/2026: Beautiful, modern, and sweet. The owner is delightful, the wait staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. The large, spacious rooms are perfect for events and groups.

15/03/2026: We had lunch today for my father-in-law's 90th birthday. There were 21 of us, and we agreed on the menu in advance. An excellent risotto with ossobuco was the star of the show. All our requests were met by the talented and very friendly Giada, who went out of her way for us! All our guests were delighted with the service and the welcoming atmosphere. 06/10/2025: It saves me every time I run out of cigarettes!!!! The staff is kind and friendly, if only they were all like that! I've actually known this bar since Mr. Michele was the owner, then he sold it and I haven't been there since, also because in the meantime I haven't lived in Uboldo for over 15 years. I recently moved back to Uboldo and..... Here I am again at my favorite bar!!!! Do I recommend it? Absolutely!

02/04/2026: The products are good, and you pay for quality, so the higher price would be justified. It's a shame that the experience is completely ruined by rude, listless, and visibly annoyed staff, especially the young woman. Such behavior is unacceptable for anyone who works with customers: empathy and courtesy are not optional. Despite the quality of the products, I will never set foot in this place again.

27/02/2026: I recently moved to Gurone and was looking for well-made pizzas, and I found them here. Seasonal pizzas, but also classic ones, which are very good and well-topped. The dough doesn't get heavy. The staff is friendly and polite.

15/04/2026: This trattoria offers a very reasonably priced "bricklayer's" set lunch menu, which also includes coffee and a quart of wine, as well as water. The food is simple but well-prepared. The management is Asian, but the dishes on the menu are local. Nothing to complain about, excellent value for money. For the price of a fast food menu, you get a starter, main course, and side dish (there's always a choice of three options).

03/04/2026: It's a shame they delete negative reviews. Everyone's good that way!! Good pizza, and I hope the staff has been replaced by serious and competent people. But I'll never know because I won't be going back.

07/03/2026: After the change of management, Basilico is no longer the same: different doughs have disappeared; dessert menu is nonexistent; staff is no longer up to par; takeout is a challenge; wait times in the dining room are biblical; open only for dinner and only Thursday-Sunday. All with unchanged prices.

23/12/2025: We've been getting pizza from this pizzeria for 25 years. The quality is excellent, but the owner is rude. We ordered pizza at 5:30 PM, as we always have, for 7 or 7:30 PM. He wanted to deliver it at 6 PM, otherwise at 8, 8, or 30 PM, so he had the pizzas arrive. They arrived very hot, as always. The delivery guy explained it by saying there was traffic. It's a shame the pizza was very hot. This gentleman should have said he didn't deliver to our address. Anyway, we're not very close to the pizzeria, but we are in Gallarate. 25 years ago we lived in Cardano al Campo, and he delivered pizzas to us without any fuss. Now that we live in Ronchi di Gallarate, it causes us problems. They delivered them at 8:30 PM, but it will certainly be the last time because there are tons of pizzerias.

10/11/2025: Takeout-only pizzeria with a wood-fired oven. Wide selection of pizzas, including custom-made ones. Excellent, friendly, and helpful staff.
