14/05/2025: Lovely place. We were guests for an 18th. Beautiful party. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Fantastic aperitif pool area, exquisite meat, excellent wine. Well-kept rooms. Refined and elegant setting.

24/04/2025: Easter 2025 - parking not enough for everyone sent....low quality buffet...cards: 1 rib and 1 chicken each....before serving dessert a person comes by to collect the lunch money (never seen anything like this, withdrawing cash money at the table).....slice of dried Colomba....and coffee served in a plastic cup with a plastic spoon (they have been banned and replaced by paper cups for at least 2 years)...NEVER RECEIVED THE TAX RECEIPT LUNCH!

05/08/2025: Gorgeous place, immersed in the maquis! Incredible view, aperitif spritz made to order. The pizza is amazing, its lightness is incredible. Friendly staff! More than reasonable prices! See you soon!

05/08/2025: Unfortunately, this place isn't recommended for dining. I ordered wild boar with tagliatelle for €23. I received a plate of over-salted tagliatelle with an indefinable sauce. Complaint: Price: €16

13/06/2025: Break at 1:30 p.m. in 30°C heat, it was the first bar that served us ships with the aperitif. 2 generous salads for the meal. Thanks to Orrietta who served us and had a crush on our dog Finger. A beautiful encounter ✌

10/07/2025: Fast and efficient, improved vegetarian selection, good opening hours. Suitable for a quick meal. Prices are quite reasonable, although unfortunately there have been some increases recently.

07/07/2025: What can I say??: it's better for everyone to do their own thing.. Between the bar downstairs that is obscene, almost offending the sector, and the restaurant that no one understands what they do. Better to ONLY go shopping at the supermarket.. Ps. Lately there hasn't been a good smell Could it be the heat??!!

03/07/2025: I have been to this place before, so I want to point out that this review refers only to the experience I had yesterday afternoon. Making a cappuccino where half the cup is foam is unacceptable, they even put the foam with a spoon, I have never seen anything like that in my life. I understand that making cappuccino is an art and making the cream (not foam inflated by steam) is difficult, so just make the coffees and have the cappuccino made by someone who is capable. Really negative experience.

03/09/2025: Midweek dinner. The atmosphere was good. The food was good (though some dishes were spicier than I remembered). The service was good.

12/07/2025: To forget. It should be a tobacconist. I bought some Garibaldi cigars. They were so old I couldn't smoke a single one. Plus, he overcharged me for them by two euros. Obviously, all without a receipt. Two hundred meters further on, there's a decent tobacconist. I wouldn't eat there even if I were starving.

07/09/2025: We came here to refresh ourselves after a long walk. The food is good, but the service could be better. We found a long line and a bit of a wait before being served. The view of the lake is stunning, and it's worth stopping by anyway.

07/09/2025: We stopped for an aperitif, attracted by the splendid terrace overlooking the lake. I won't dwell on the prices, which for me were decidedly high (a small can of iced tea cost 5 euros). When I got to the checkout to pay, I noticed a wasp in the biscuit display case, sitting on a puff pastry. I reported the problem to the clerk, thinking she hadn't noticed, but her only response was that they were infested and there was nothing they could do about it. She didn't even try to remove the biscuit with the insect, but left it in its place, undisturbed by the insect. NOT RECOMMENDED.

24/08/2025: I stopped by this morning to buy some pistachio brioches for breakfast. The dough was decent, but the filling was runny and sour.

22/08/2025: I'm a regular McDonald's customer throughout Lombardy. Unfortunately, the Gallarate location is in dire straits. Service is slow, both for drive-through and for pick-up at the counter. I ordered a double Big Tasty. When I opened the package, it was completely messed up, with more than half the cheese melted on the side of the sandwich... but the worst thing that infuriated me was the lack of the double topping I ordered and paid for. I'm sorry, but that's not how we work.

19/08/2025: A nice place with games for children

02/03/2025: 2 pizzas and 1 calzone take away completely burnt with a bad bitter taste. The calzone is completely flat and limp as well as with raw edges but with a completely black and bitter upper part. The dough seems unleavened. Very bad.

06/04/2025: I went last Sunday with a friend and I was speechless when the kind lady at the checkout informed us, before giving the receipt correctly, that they would add a surcharge of 20 cents per piece for table service on the avenue. 20 cents a piece???? But will you only do the route to bring me what I ordered once? We had 2 coffees and 2 croissants totaling 80 cents surcharge for the service.... crazy stuff!!! The waitress then explained to us that last year it happened with some customers who seemed to do it on purpose to continue ordering things by making the waitress go back and forth several times.... already if you think that a customer does this on purpose it is not a normal thing but with all due respect the waitress' work also includes this. I can understand 20 cents per service.... but per piece it is truly madness!!!

30/06/2025: When I read the few bad reviews of this place I thought either those people must have been really unlucky or having wrong expectations, so we gave it a try. However, my experience was unfortunately terrible. The staff member who welcomed us was not welcoming at all and asked us right away what we wanted to drink. Actually he just said "drink?". we asked for a bottle of water to begin with and started reading through the menu. No beverage or wine list. The steak I ordered was burned in some places and completely raw in others. (I ordered medium). The food looked like it was thrown on the plate. No love went into it whatsoever. The fries tasted worse than gas station fries and I actually could not eat them. The staff kept being rude and made no efforts to offer us a desert or a drink menu. I felt rushed out, as if they were about to close, even though they had just opened one hour ago. To be honest the place had a vibe of money-laundring and I would advise people to safe their time and money and go to one of the many lovely Italian restaurants nearby. if i could give zero stars for this place, i would.

I had an ice cream, I asked for directions to the bathroom and the answer was "we don't let dogs and pigs use the bathroom" I strongly advise the lady to change jobs or work in the back so that she doesn't ruin the reputation of the place
