30/10/2025: Last night I stopped at this bar for a snack while waiting for the bus. The place is warm and welcoming. The croissants are delicious. I met the owner, who is truly kind. There should be more places like this in a "hot" area like Saronno station. They would be a great asset and would improve the atmosphere. I recommend it!

05/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and were more than satisfied! Three kebab menus with freshly cooked piadina, plentiful and delicious, we struggled to finish them! Super affordable price, the gentleman was really nice and kind. If we're ever in the area, we'll definitely be back.

13/04/2026: Very good, fresh, and typically Peruvian food. Friendly staff. Prices are high, but the dishes are generous, so it's fine. We only had an appetizer shared between two people and a first course each, and we were full.

Avoid at all costs. There are three other places nearby that don't look like a shack in the Lago favela.

15/11/2025: I tried this place for an aperitivo. I was immediately struck by the price of the platters and wines, particularly their contrast and countertrend. The platters cost €15 per person (the price decreases based on size), which is slightly above average. On the other hand, bottles of wine (bottled and bottled on the spot) were €13 each, relatively cheap. I must say I found this aspect positive, almost like an intellectual honesty based on the real cost of goods, in contrast to the normal approach of further increasing the price of drinks. Furthermore, both the platters and the wine were very respectable: the platters were very rich, varied, and of high quality, and the wines were very good. One noteworthy point was that the service was a little slow, but it didn't in the least impact the evening or the overall impression.

11/01/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. I don't know if they have menus, and there weren't any on the tables... the owner came to take our order, and my wife asked him for an espresso. He didn't know what it was, but that's not a problem, since the bar is old and so is the owner. The problem was his very rude response to a lady, and I tried to tone down his rudeness, but he responded rudely to me, too. The waitress was very kind and helpful, but the small tables with scratchy tablecloths made it difficult for her to clean up crumbs from previous customers. The place could use a makeover, it's truly tacky, but the bars in Sesto Calende were all full, so we settled for this one, which was a mistake. Furthermore, we were downstairs, and the door let in a cold, drafty atmosphere, so we decided to leave quickly.

14/04/2026: Terrible pizza, too thin and not very tasty, the mozzarella was not buffalo mozzarella, I strongly advise against it, stay away.
