14/05/2026: I've had the pleasure of frequenting Pizzeria Ocoptus for over ten years, and I'm always happy to return. Nadia and Giacomo are the perfect hosts. The food is excellent, the desserts exquisite.

02/05/2026: Describing this pizzeria requires a moment's attention. It's a family-run establishment, run by husband and wife, Nadia and Giacomo. They put care and passion into every detail. The atmosphere is immediately striking. It feels like being underwater. An octopus watches you from above, giving the place character. Then comes the pizza. And that's what matters. Light, tasty, just the right amount of crunch. Easy to digest. Just how we like it. An example. The potatoes and radicchio. No photos. It went too quickly. 😄

24/05/2026: How can I describe in a review a place where everything is new but everything is so tied to a bygone era? This is the Circolo di Oneda, a welcoming place made of meticulous research into what hospitality is. The place is very nice, cared for in every detail with pieces of furniture that each of us has lived in, and the menu is not what you would expect from a village club but has in its being a touch of innovation, remaining still rustic and the dishes are confirmation of this and as far as I'm concerned I ate well and paid the right price, the service is kind and attentive, the atmosphere is engaging with music that makes you remember the essence of the place. I compliment Erno on his determination and his desire to not let these small realities die, not really accustomed to tourism, but to our reality...

01/08/2026: Every year I come to Schiranna, it's a must! I've always had the pizza and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and very down-to-earth. I didn't book once, but they managed to find a spot for me anyway. I highly recommend it! I don't have any photos of the pizzas because I've always devoured them! :D P.S. They're very filling!

19/04/2026: Fantastic place located inside Origgio Park. What can I say??? Excellent cocktails, very good beers, friendly staff, and a very attentive and friendly owner. Highly recommended!!! Especially in the summer, when it feels like vacation.

06/07/2026: The rock gym has a remarkable number of sport climbing routes (I've seen them from 5 to 7B+). Therefore, I think it's a great option for enthusiasts. Sport climbing is too difficult for my abilities, but there's also an easy via ferrata just a few meters above the lake, offering great views. The via ferrata is technically undemanding and takes less than half an hour to complete. It can be done multiple times, as the walk from the start to the finish is less than five minutes. The gym and via ferrata complex can be accessed by turning left immediately after the first tunnel exiting Maccagno, where there are four or five parking spaces, or in less than ten minutes from the beach parking lot, following the lakeside promenade and the small harbours. The view is also remarkable for those simply accompanying climbers.

12/05/2026: A great place to climb the rock with proper gear. You can also climb the mountain and do many loops of varying lengths.

21/04/2026: A very bad experience. We stopped at this restaurant for lunch, and had starters, main courses, fruit, and white wine. Everything was terrible. It's true that the lunch price is low, but the quality of the food served was equally low. I don't recommend it.

02/08/2026: The only positive note is the good-quality ingredients. However, almost nothing is cooked. Terrible service, with inadequate, slow, and rude staff. Awful atmosphere. On a lawn. Very scenic for the view, but the reality is that you'll be eaten by mosquitoes. The price is absolutely out of line. We won't be returning.

28/07/2026: Apericena: The menu choices are very rigid, and the servings for the "snelly" menus aren't enough to fill you up. The service is provided by young people who aren't attentive or up-to-date, and there's no attention paid to bringing food to the kids right away. The aperitif cocktails are of a medium-low quality; it's best to get ready-made drinks. The location is very beautiful and cool in the summer.
