06/03/2026: Here I am to tell you what happened to me... the food at this restaurant isn't bad, but something unfortunate happened. My husband had a pizza and a risotto alla Milanese with crispy bacon and pistachios. When I was almost finished eating the rice, which was also good, I found a very long, light-colored hair inside. I pulled it out of my mouth and forced myself not to vomit. We reported the incident to the (very kind) waiter, who apologized, but when they gave us the bill, they charged us for the rice too! We reported the incident to the cashier, and the cashier took half the price of the rice off our plate. Plus, she looked at me disparagingly, as if I was hitting on her... The plate was sent back. It was almost finished, but there was a very long, light-colored hair inside (I'm brunette). I pulled it out of my mouth with a napkin after chewing it and put it on my plate. P.S. My husband tried it too, but I was the one who got the hair! It makes me want to throw up just thinking about it!! The place is nice, the food isn't bad, but the hair isn't... and LESS THE CASHIER WITH HER ATTITUDE. I'm not used to leaving negative reviews... but everything has its limits.

11/10/2025: I ordered six pizzas for 8:30 PM. I was told they'd arrive on time. Now it's 9:17 PM, but they still haven't arrived. I called the pizzeria twice, and a young woman answered, telling me the pizzas were just coming out of the oven. I asked for an explanation, but the girl, annoyed by the situation, hung up on me.

02/05/2025: BAD, very bad! We went for lunch on a day when there weren't many people; in fact, there were only a few tables occupied. Despite this, I was served a first course and only an appetizer (Goma Wakame) within 5 minutes of ordering, but then both I and my tablemates were served half an hour later, maybe even longer! It's unacceptable. All this for simple appetizers (I got the stuffed ravioli after half an hour, but for the following courses I had to wait another 10 minutes!). After the appetizers, we received some nigiri that to call COLD would be an understatement (in fact, they looked like they had just come out of the freezer). They were inedible. The rest was adequate/fair, some good. It's not the Shabu I remembered, unfortunately. Until a year ago, it was, in my opinion, the best AYCE in Varese, but after the latest experience, I had to change my mind. Terrible service and adequate quality (maybe not even that). €25 wasted. I hope it was a random disservice, but that was our experience. I'm ready to change my mind and leave a new, better review, but we definitely won't be returning anytime soon.

13/04/2025: This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite places. The food is always excellent: authentic dishes, meticulously prepared with quality ingredients. The space is cozy, small but very comfortable, with an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always with a smile. My favorite dish? Udon noodles, without a doubt—warm, filling, and perfectly flavorful. A true treat. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, because you know it will never disappoint.

12/01/2026: A wonderful discovery: delicious pizza, a very welcoming place, and attentive service. It's not a super cheap pizza, but the quality and deliciousness are worth the price. I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

06/01/2026: Nice pizzeria, above-average prices. I had a gluten-free pizza, which was quite small but tasted good. I suggest using knives with sharper blades; I really struggled. Aside from these areas, which could be improved, I was quite satisfied.

08/01/2026: Very good location for a nights stay between fligths. Airport shuttle available (need to call separately, 5€ fee/person). Food was decent and reasonable priced. Staff was very polite and helpfull. Late checkout was easily arranged.

06/01/2026: We went for dinner last night with our family. Excellent pizzas, delicious dough, and good ingredients. The waitress/cashier was always kind and cheerful, and the service was good. The atmosphere was nice and friendly, and we'll be back :)

23/12/2025: Unfortunately, I'm forced to delete my previous review (5 stars) and replace it with this one. The food here is good, but unfortunately, we'll never return due to the rudeness of the staff (who aren't young). I repeat, it's a shame because the food is good and we always enjoyed returning, but following some questionable behavior by the staff, unfortunately, they'll never see us here again. We would have loved to spend New Year's Eve here, but instead, due to the rudeness and impolite attitude of the lady, we'll spend it elsewhere. As I saw written in another review, "politeness is everything, especially in this line of work," and they're absolutely right. If they don't know how to treat customers, they'd be better off closing down. If they only want to cater to "a certain type of clientele" (as we've noted), they should open a private club, not a public establishment like they currently are.

17/12/2025: We've been to the Bisuschio location many times. The dishes are always delicious and the hospitality is top-notch.
