01/11/2025: We didn't live here, we were on a trip and this was the only one open. It was getting dark and we were freezing and needed to go to the toilet. We ordered hot chocolate, some with whipped (sprayed) cream and some cold tea (strange given the situation, I know). The chocolate was exactly what you would expect, like a good ciobar, no more, no less. The cream for us Swedes, including my wife who is Italian, was unfortunately "pollice verso" or in today's standard language 👎. But really not anything other than expected. Sweetened cream from a spray can. Other than that perfect, slowly lightly whipped Irish coffee cream, maybe for me with a small pinch of sugar, but not that much at all. I think it cost a little over €30. Not cheap, so we didn't eat anything, but it's the same or slightly lower than in a Swedish café? The toilet was clean and I think everything worked. The view was amazing, looking across the Po Plain to the Emilian mountains. The place felt like it was at least a hundred years old and didn't look like it had been renovated, even though it was well maintained. It fit in well with the rest of the small mountaintop community, like something out of a movie or novel.

31/10/2025: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Appalling service!!! Unpleasant staff with absolutely no sense of service or hospitality. We sat on an open terrace, but no one came to assist us, even though the waiter inside had seen us sit down. After 10 minutes, my 13-year-old daughter went to order drinks and asked for the restroom. The waiter replied in a very rude tone that he didn't serve on the terrace, which was, in fact, open. My husband went back with my daughter, who, as a result, hadn't dared to use the restroom. She was refused access; we had to order something first, which is what we had wanted to do from the start! We left. It's a shame, despite this lack of professionalism, hospitality, smiles, and friendliness. The view was lovely.

05/09/2025: A very informal restaurant/pizzeria serving excellent pizza and cuisine. Themed evenings and discounts on pizzas on various days of the week. Karaoke and pizza tours are also available.

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, and the welcome was truly warm and friendly. The food, alas, was forgettable. The tourist menu costed €18 (there was nothing else) and consisted of: industrial polenta with a hint of gorgonzola, steak (?) barely 4 or 5 millimeters thick, inevitably served in an overcooked "shoe sole" version, a side of potatoes and peppers floating soullessly in a watery liquid that was perhaps meant to be the cooking juices. A fine place (are we sure?) for a passing worker's hasty lunch break. Absolutely unsuitable for a Sunday on the lake with the family.

12/09/2025: How did this restaurant get a 4.5-star rating? It's completely unjustified. The very small menu offered the tourist menu for €18. The pasta starter was okay, but the main course was simply bad and oily. The kitchen opens at 6:30 p.m. We arrived at 6:20 p.m. and were given strange looks. We were served at 6:35 p.m., even though we were the only customers. It wasn't clean, and it reeked of smoke. Despite the friendly waiter, we didn't feel comfortable here. For us, this was anything but an authentic Italian restaurant serving home-style cooking. A real disappointment!

Impeccable service (Asia served us, a cheerful, precise, and very nice girl!) and tonight we tried their "outside Milan" saffron risotto with French-style ossobuco!!! Fun!! I've been looking for it for a while... I finally found it! Delicious! Congratulations to Chef Nicolas! For his skill and initiative! Keep up the good work! P.S. 11/11/2025: We chose Il Grotto Bagat for our wedding lunch and couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was excellent, with generous portions and attention to every detail. The service was impeccable: the staff were always present, attentive, and professional, without ever being intrusive. The elegant atmosphere made the day even more special. They accommodated our every request, from the menu to the room decor, from the cake to the wines, demonstrating great availability and extraordinary care. Everything was simply perfect. We recommend Il Grotto Bagat to anyone looking for a unique experience, characterized by quality, attention, and authentic hospitality.

12/10/2025: Pizza was okay, service terrible. I specifically asked if I could pick up the pizzas before 9 pm and was assured they'd be ready by then. I arrived at 9 pm and they hadn't even started making them. We had to wait another 20 minutes.

22/07/2025: We went there for lunch by chance. We were alone in the restaurant. Three dishes written on a blackboard and a wonderful surprise. The best pasta all'amatriciana I've ever eaten. A very reasonable price for homemade dishes. A real treat!

01/11/2025: Atmosphere: Some noise, but nothing excessive. Food: Good pizza, mixed grill, the quality of the meats not very good. Dessert, not worth €5. I served the impeccable service. Very friendly and quick to serve the food. 5 minutes

28/10/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to Zingarella. The owners always welcome us with a smile, and the food is plentiful, tasty, and delicious. We'll be back soon.

18/10/2025: It's now a bloodbath where it's almost impossible to have acceptable portions for the aperitif given the amount of people who seem to have not eaten for years and who are raiding the counter

09/09/2025: A small place, but with plenty of outdoor tables, and a quaint atmosphere: part Bavarian gasthaus, part local tavern. The dishes are well-chosen and inviting, and they occasionally host themed days featuring delicious regional dishes. There's a wide selection of sandwiches and piadinas. In addition to Italian craft beers, they also have excellent German beers. Friendly staff. Prices are fair, I'd say; considering the type of place and its central location (in the pedestrian zone), they're not at all expensive. I had a great time there and would gladly return.
