14/07/2025: We had a great time; the food was good, and the atmosphere (though small) was very nice and welcoming. The pizzas are thin and light, easy to digest. They have unique flavors that I haven't found at other pizzerias (for example, I had a Toscana, with prosciutto and fig jam, delicious). We'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: I was a super-loyal customer of this restaurant about 25 years ago when I lived in Gallarate for work (Air Europe and then Air Italy). It was a given for me, and I hope the current management is in line with the historic lady who worked at the cash register. :)

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, and the welcome was truly warm and friendly.
The food, alas, was forgettable.
The tourist menu costed €18 (there was nothing else) and consisted of:
industrial polenta with a hint of gorgonzola,
steak (?) barely 4 or 5 millimeters thick, inevitably served in an overcooked "shoe sole" version,
a side of potatoes and peppers floating soullessly in a watery liquid that was perhaps meant to be the cooking juices.
A fine place (are we sure?) for a passing worker's hasty lunch break. Absolutely unsuitable for a Sunday on the lake with the family.
12/09/2025: How did this restaurant get a 4.5-star rating? It's completely unjustified. The very small menu offered the tourist menu for €18. The pasta starter was okay, but the main course was simply bad and oily. The kitchen opens at 6:30 p.m. We arrived at 6:20 p.m. and were given strange looks. We were served at 6:35 p.m., even though we were the only customers. It wasn't clean, and it reeked of smoke. Despite the friendly waiter, we didn't feel comfortable here. For us, this was anything but an authentic Italian restaurant serving home-style cooking. A real disappointment!

10/11/2025: Almost in the city center. It's a shame about the unsavory crowd, especially in the evenings, perhaps attracted by the on-site bar.
Personally, I don't think the decision to allow people with scooters or e-bikes into the store is correct; it's a matter of responsibility and safety, towards those entering on foot, like the rest of the universe. But perhaps these are unfamiliar areas.

06/08/2025: An "old-fashioned" place, that is, one of those good old trattorias, a bit rustic and sometimes a little rough around the edges, but that's their beauty. Menus are available either verbally or on a sheet of paper, depending on what's available that day. A unique place, you hardly find them like this anymore.

23/07/2025: Excellent experience, good food and lots of courtesy, really good and tasty pelaella, excellent sangria as well as the desserts among which the crema catalana stands out, perhaps a little hot inside the restaurant, but it is late July and in any case it is subjective perhaps it is I who prefer much lower temperatures, we had a lovely evening, thank you!

24/10/2025: Good service with very friendly staff. We sat in a small room at the back, but it wasn't exactly quiet, as the place was very quiet. It's also true that there weren't many people.
I can't comment on the food because I had a very simple marinara pizza. While it certainly wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it was a pleasant experience, and the quality of the ingredients was there.
The prices were fair...we still had a lakeside view.
