14/06/2025: I was looking for affordable accommodation for a transit stop and found an absolute gem that would certainly be worth twice the price. The rooms and the entire complex are very beautiful and lovingly furnished, clean, and well-maintained. The price includes breakfast, which offers a wide selection of pastries, cereals, spreads, scrambled eggs, and more. I found the communication and friendly assistance absolutely top-notch, as we unfortunately couldn't arrive until very late in the evening and couldn't find the address right away (Google is misleading here). I can recommend this hotel without reservation and would gladly stay here again anytime.

15/05/2025: We stopped several times at this place right on the lake, both for an aperitif and for a hamburger with our girls. In addition to the food, we appreciated the kindness and attention towards the girls, which is not always a given. Very warm and welcoming environment with a beautiful veranda overlooking the lake.

02/05/2025: THE CASH BUFFER I am a long-time fan of Taeko and her husband, I have always frequented and continue to frequent their places (Tea in Italy, Ramen) I consider them elegant, kind and enterprising people, so I wanted to go to the Bistró with joy. We were three friends, a young girl welcomed us. I'm not someone who stresses or argues, we waited 1 hour and more to have the tea (the waitress apologized for the delay), all in all we got up calmly and went happily to the checkout... and here we meet the HUNTER, a new figure in the restaurant industry that I still missed! We kindly ask if we could pay for our teas individually, 4.50 euros single, he replies yes, after which he starts fumbling at the cash register, all with a concrete face. He starts to snort at us, failing to give us the receipt and making us weigh our payment. I understand the inconvenience and offer to pay for two, but the other one had a card. Snort, for the pos too, with a dark face, it wasn't clear why he couldn't even with the pos...it made us feel very uncomfortable. Obviously what the fuck is he seeing me again.. I give four stars because I remain a fan of Taeko and I love its places!

24/12/2024: Emiazzico is a “historic” place for those who want to enjoy an aperitif in Sesto Calende. The aperitif is a bit sparse and basic, pizzas and sandwiches that can be found everywhere. The strong point is the service and the drinks.

25/05/2025: The Lindt Factory Outlet in Cassano Magnago offers a wide range of Lindt products at affordable prices, as well as engaging experiences for the whole family. At the entrance, an exhibition area tells the story of Lindt and chocolate, offering a fascinating introduction to the world of cocoa. In the outlet there are over 1,000 references including the famous Lindor pralines available in 19 variants, Excellence bars, spreadable creams and much more. Finally, there is a dedicated corner to enjoy a sweet break with hot drinks and sweets. The Lindt Factory Outlet regularly hosts themed events, such as the Choco Festival mainly aimed at the younger public. The outlet is very large, the prices are for quality products and discounts are often applied based on the period. It is difficult to judge the price/product ratio; we are talking about an outlet on a quality product that in my opinion, in this location, supports the wide range of products that are difficult to find in large-scale distribution. Surely if something is not present elsewhere, here it is; this I think is the main concept. The parking lot is large, the staff is extremely kind and professional and, if requested, they also provide tastings.

02/05/2025: BAD, very bad! We went for lunch on a day when there weren't many people, in fact, there were few occupied tables. Despite this, I was served a first and only appetizer (Goma Wakame) 5 minutes after ordering, but subsequently both I and my table mates were served half an hour later, perhaps even more! It is unacceptable. All for simple appetizers (the filled ravioli arrived after half an hour, in fact, but for the subsequent courses I had to wait another 10 minutes!). Once the appetizers were finished, we received some nighiri which to define as COLD is an understatement (in fact they seemed to have come out of the freezer...). They were inedible. The rest was sufficient/fair, something good. It's not the Shabu I remembered, unfortunately. Until 1 year ago it was, in my opinion, the best AYCE in Varese, but after the last experience I had to change my mind. Terrible service and sufficient quality (maybe not even). €25 wasted.. I hope it was a random disservice, but this was our experience. I'm ready to change my mind and leave him a new and nicer review, but we definitely won't be going back anytime soon.

13/04/2025: This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite places. The food is always excellent: authentic dishes, with attention to detail and prepared with quality ingredients. The environment is intimate, small but very comfortable, with an intimate atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at home. The staff are super friendly, welcoming and attentive, always with a smile. My favorite dish? Without a doubt the udon - warm, enveloping, just the right amount of flavour. A real treat. It's the classic place you willingly return to, because you know it will never disappoint you.

11/05/2025: The organization is terrible. We had to wait an hour to receive the first course and those who ordered the second course as a first course had to wait another hour to be able to eat while they were forced to watch the others eat. I recommend checking your bill CAREFULLY!!!! Because we ordered 8 starters. They brought us 3 plates of cold cuts, 2 plates of fried gnocchi and some peppers, olives, pickled cucumbers... then we added 3 more portions of rented gnocchi. In the end they charged us on the bill for 9 appetizers plus 4 portions of fried gnocchi. We paid for everything, but it was a rip off!!! We will not return again, even though the food is acceptable.

13/04/2025: Innanzitutto dell'osteria c'è poco e nulla. Se la chiamiamo Steakhouse la qualifichiamo molto meglio. Locale ampio, dotato di due sale. Assolutamente da evitare quella al piano inferiore che per qualche strana ragione amplifica i rumori ad un livello imbarazzante e rende impossibile il dialogo tra i commensali. Il servizio è lento e un pò approssimativo ma se riuscite a passare sopra a tutto questo trovate una braceria con un ampia scelta e ottima qualità della carne. In caso di dubbi, lasciatevi consigliare, abbiamo trovato personale molto preparato che non ci ha delusi e ha centrato proprio quello che volevamo. Sicuramente non a buon mercato )se la vogliamo chiamare Osteria) ma assolutamente con prezzi adeguati ed un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Un pizzico di cordialità in più non guasterebbe, ma se amate la carne, consigliatissimo!
