My friend ordered a pizza which was okay, nothing special but still decent. I chose a seafood pizza. The mussels were actually very good, but unfortunately the rest of the seafood — like the baby octopus and shrimp — had a very strong vinegar taste. Because of that, I couldn’t really enjoy the dish, and it made me feel like the seafood might have been from a can rather than fresh. Also, the crust was quite thick with very large edges, which didn’t really match my preference.

Be wary of any negative comments you find! Just because a place is packed and there's no silence, or because a dog isn't allowed in, reviews can't and shouldn't diminish the quality and service! In any case, we came to this trattoria for dinner, where we found a rustic and very welcoming atmosphere, super friendly staff, and excellent food. For a lakefront location, the prices are very fair compared to many other places nearby that offer more or less the same menu.

We had gnocchi and veal cutlet with mushrooms, both very good, reasonably priced, and generous portions. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent dinner, recommended!

Good service with very friendly staff. We sat in a small room at the back, but it wasn't exactly quiet, as the place was very quiet. It's also true that there weren't many people. I can't comment on the food because I had a very simple marinara pizza. While it certainly wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it was a pleasant experience, and the quality of the ingredients was there. The prices were fair...we still had a lakeside view.

22/04/2026: I had a business lunch with a friend. It was really good and well-received. The price was definitely above average. On a negative note: I found the place through The Fork because I had a €15 discount coupon, but when it came time to pay, they didn't accept it... what a disappointment.

02/11/2025: The comment about the mushroom tart, which I read, was misplaced: it was good and as described, beautifully presented. On the other hand, the snobbish use of English terms to describe customer service, which was certainly not lacking, speaks volumes about the person who commented. The meat was very good, and the wine was up to par. The only flaw was the very noisy place, with moments of annoyance: there were a lot of children, but the noise came from the adults (think about it!), and the wait for the dishes was a bit long.
27/10/2025: The food is excellent and the service is friendly. The place is even prettier after the latest renovation! The idea of ​​a birthday party at Balabiott with their traditional camparino was also great. Fantastic place and highly recommended!!!! ❤️🥩🍔🍕🍝❤️
