03/07/2025: And here we are to review MARINA! What can I say, she has imagination, good taste, and friendliness! I often go around looking for good taste, I have already reviewed one or two ice cream shops in the area. But Marina deserves 5 stars, her pistachio pesto with cremino, makes you fly to heaven.🎉 Don't worry if you become slaves to her delicacies, who cares about the kilograms that increase and the waistline that unfortunately will increase with them, because you will no longer be able to do without it! Life is a come on! Make your taste buds ENJOY!!!! Believe me, then you will no longer be grumpy!😂 The credit does not only go to Marina, but also to her collaborators.

16/06/2025: Nice little bar, about ten tables inside and a couple outside, overlooking a square used as a parking lot, not very busy. Excellent brioches with a good selection and a selection of sweets and pastries. Friendly and nice staff, recommended.

28/06/2025: When aesthetics only make the difference. Yes, because the dishes are well presented and served in a very rigorous and careful way. They are scenographic and the long wait makes you think of quality preparations (10 tables occupied, 45 minutes for a shrimp burger). Then when you taste it you feel like you are in any quality AYCE. After you have traveled to Japan, after you have tried starred Japanese restaurants (and not with prices too far from this), it is not worth spending 50 euros per person (2 courses and 1 sparkling water). Of course the à la carte menu is chic and in fact the clientele of Milanese imbruttito and provincial Varese places it among the places with a lot of smoke and mediocre roast. But do you want to put out the wheat to make a good impression?

14/06/2025: Very elegant and clean place, kind waiters and excellent lunch formula. The sushi was delicious and very fresh. The free fruit was also much appreciated. Perhaps the only flaw was the slightly slow service.

17/06/2025: I voted this restaurant 5 stars a few years ago, having been deeply amazed by the quality of the food and the beautiful environment. Unfortunately, I now find myself having to change my mind and revise my rating. The ordering system has been changed from paper to digital, with the following problems: - they do not provide a tablet to order, so everything must be done from your own devices - the elderly are obviously excluded from the system - there is no data network inside and the wifi connection is slow. Once this problem, which I would not underestimate, has been overcome, the best part comes: times, instead of being improved with this digital "revolution", have worsened and more pieces are being lost than before. I have also noticed a decline in the quality of the food. In short, they also want to be modern, and do not realize that they are going back to the stone age, with poor service and poor organization. Put a nice waiter to take orders, and you will only gain customers!

12/06/2025: We were on 7/6/25 to celebrate my wife Cinzia's birthday and with my son Francesco. Very nice place, excellent service, great food, price in line with another similar restaurant already frequented in Buguggiate. We will be happy to return. Thanks again Giorgio, Cinzia and Francesco

15/06/2025: Very suggestive place, with a splendid terrace on the lake. The food is good, the raw materials are of quality and the dishes are abundant. The service is courteous and helpful, we really appreciated seeing all the waiters very young! We definitely recommend it!

21/06/2025: We have been to this place for dinner several times. I have never been “crazy” about it, this evening I was totally disappointed. We ordered a trio of fish tartare, which was good but the portion was very small. As a first course, fish risotto… we waited 50 minutes and we found pieces of clam shell on our plate. I left the whole plate. We reported everything to the waitress who apologized and to the owner who replied “it can happen”. The cooking time for risotto is longer (20 minutes… not 50 minutes) and the chef, while shelling the clams, may have dropped a few pieces onto the plate!”. NO IT CAN’T HAPPEN. THERE IS NO SUCH A THING LIKE THIS. And when it came to the bill, he didn’t even take away the plate we had left there. Total lack of respect, professionalism and education.

The place is very nice and has a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in good company. The price is a little higher than other places, but the quality and ambiance justify the cost. An excellent choice for those looking for a special aperitif in a refined environment.

17/05/2025: If I could give more than 5 stars I would have. For me it is the second home, my favorite place where I know I eat WELL. Everything is high quality and the staff is very prepared and helpful. A place that I absolutely recommend.
