10/03/2026: First and last time! Average high price, but the problem is not the price but the pizza.... We ordered two completely different pizzas in terms of flavors and doughs! Both raw and pale.... The cooking is terrible.... and it's rare to find places that don't know how to make a pizza.... If this is a pizza factory 😂😂😂 goodbye

25/01/2026: I really like their pizza because it's thin and crispy; the platters and appetizers are also excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is always very kind and helpful. Last time I was here for a birthday, the owner was kind enough to offer us a bottle of sparkling wine and a generous slice of cake!

14/01/2026: I organized a dinner for 47 people. The location exceeded expectations. The food was good and plentiful, with vegan options (they put the leftovers in takeaway trays). The staff was kind and helpful... my planning anxiety quickly disappeared! I highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: Sushi in Castellanza! The parking lot was tiny and packed. We went for dinner. We arrived and there were tons of people inside and outside waiting for a table. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about 20 minutes, which I don't think is fair since we had a reservation. The place is very nice, large, and even has an outdoor patio. The food was all delicious; I didn't find anything I didn't like, even some dishes you don't normally find, like the fried gnocchi or the skewered pancetta. The service was terrible; the dishes started arriving after 40 minutes of us being seated. We had to ask the waiters several times because they weren't brought. A friend of mine asked for chopsticks, and they never arrived. Some dishes never arrived. At one point, they told us the kitchen was closed and they wouldn't be bringing out any more dishes, even though we'd already said we were missing some. The waitress was really rude and gave us a nasty look. In the end, they made us the dish we wanted, but not with a few requests. I'd go back for the food, but not for the service.

24/11/2025: I went to Mimmo's for a Saturday night dinner and wanted to leave an honest but constructive review, because the pizzeria definitely has potential. Important premise: the timing probably didn't help. The place was really packed, with lots of people waiting outside, several birthday parties, and karaoke. The atmosphere was lively, but inevitably very loud and chaotic. The menu is extensive: so many options, congratulations on the variety. I contradict myself by saying that this can also be confusing; we personally had a really hard time deciding which pizza to order, so much so that we opted for the classic ones, just to avoid wasting too much time. 😅 It's clear that it's a beloved and very popular pizzeria. Aspects for improvement: - Long wait The pizzas arrived quite late, probably due to the huge turnout. I understand it's a Saturday night, but the wait was really long. - Too much noise Between karaoke, birthdays, and large tables, the noise level was very high and made it difficult to talk without shouting to people within a centimeter of each other. - Service was sometimes unwelcoming One of the waitresses who looked after us always seemed in a hurry and barely smiled. I understand the stress of Saturdays, but a little courtesy really makes a difference. - Burnt pizza My pizza was well cooked... perhaps too much. The crust and part of the bottom were burned, and this ruined the flavor a bit. I'll probably return on a quieter day to give it a second chance. The reviews are good and the place is very busy, so I'm sure the experience would be different in a less chaotic environment. My observations are intended as constructive feedback to further improve a place that many appreciate.

16/01/2026: What a shame!! A missed opportunity...the villa is very beautiful and in a commanding position...it's a shame about the state of deterioration and near-abandonment.

15/12/2025: A truly 5-star hotel that lives up to its reputation! For a visit to the Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese, and Lake Como area, this is a really good hotel. The location is very quiet, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The adjacent park is perfect for a stroll and is lined with beautiful old trees. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, are very clean, and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. There was everything from coffee and tea to cakes, croissants, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, ham, and cheese... the ham was particularly delicious! There was also ample parking in front of the hotel and in the villa's courtyard. This hotel made our stay in the region truly exceptional.

20/01/2026: I dined with friends for the first time. Everything was perfect! The location, the structure, the rooms where breakfast and meals are served. The perfect place to have a meal or stay for a vacation. Excellent food and very kind and professional staff.

12/10/2025: Incredible gelato, a true gem discovered by chance while wandering along the Lanza. Both the classic and special flavors are truly exceptional and worth trying (try the macha flavor). I hope to return soon!
