17/08/2025: We made a reservation, but two friends joined us at the last minute, and the staff immediately found a way to add more seats even though the place was full. They were always smiling, friendly, and kind! The pizzas were varied, unique, and truly delicious. The dough was soft, tasty, and light. We ate in the courtyard, which was very quaint and welcoming. The entire place is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. It was a truly pleasant evening. Having two small children, we were worried about disturbing them, but everyone offered a kind word and a smile to the kids—a real relief! Thank you! We'll definitely be back 🥰

08/08/2025: The place is very beautiful and welcoming, with tables in a small central square and very close to the lakefront. The service was impeccable and fast. I recommend the gnocco fritto with Parma ham and a parmesan cream. The pizzas were delicious and the ingredients were top-quality. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

23/07/2025: It's the first time I've stopped for breakfast and definitely the last. 2 cappuccinos and 2 croissants cost €8.40 (a chocolate crescent was €3!), not counting the price. The croissants were clearly from the day before, because they were posse. It's a shame because the place is beautiful.

03/08/2025: Three of us (two adults and a child) ordered two first courses and two 75cl bottles of sparkling water. The first courses each cost €20. Aside from the fact that I may have chosen poorly and found the ravioli al plin with grape must to be very sweet, although good quality, the bill came to €65, including €15 for a cover charge (€5 each) and €10 for water (two 75cl bottles). The staff was friendly, but the bill was inadequate.

13/08/2025: Aperitif, we're not there ... I should have given only one star, but since we had a simple aperitif and didn't use the hotel or restaurant, it didn't seem right to give it an extremely negative rating. The platter for two was actually 80% bread slices with chickpea cream and olive pâté, with just a tiny sampling of cured meats and cheeses. The cost of the ingredients didn't exceed 5-6 euros, and it sold for 34 euros. Focaccia for 9 euros with supermarket cooked ham and very salty bread (it even seemed reheated). We ate because we were hungry. I had a Bordeaux Spritz. Personally, I think it's an anonymous reinterpretation with a sweetish aftertaste that didn't go well with the aperitif (but these are subjective tastes). Afterwards, I had a classic Spritz, which was very poorly made. Tasteless, colorless, served in antique glassware. A charming location. the rooms will be beautiful and very clean, as will the restaurant which I will definitely try.... but the aperitif is absolutely not up to par, expensive and of low quality, it needs improvement!!

08/07/2025: Don't ask yourself when you arrive: 'Ah, but am I in the right place?' because if you followed the directions you can't have made a mistake. Don't show impatience if the restaurant doesn't appear once you reach the parking lot, because it's there at the end of the driveway. Don't complain if horses welcome you when you arrive because the name of the restaurant says 'equines' and nothing else could have awaited you. Trust me, put aside the prejudice of those who have already formed an idea and expect it to be confirmed because this place is different, it's new, it's unique, it makes itself sought after and desired and only those who enter free from what they have already seen elsewhere can enjoy what will be offered to them. The atmosphere is Virgilian bucolic. With little effort you could see Titiro lying in the shade of the fagus and hear the sound of his flute, while the sun invigorates at every other hour, the greens that it illuminates. Tityrus may have also adorned his hair with a crown of buttercups that grow abundantly in that place. Iron-shod clogs give audible syncopated chimes approaching and receding, dilating time instead of counting it. However, other senses besides sight will soon be stimulated because this is why you came. You came for smell and taste, to satisfy them first and make everything else a corollary in the true sense, the frame of an experience. I will not talk about the menu because it is random. It changes frequently, giving clear signs of a dynamic, active brigade, looking for stimuli. I will talk about what you will find with any tasting of any choice of any munu of the Betulla: passion and attention, but also wisdom in the choice and care of the material, ability in the combinations, taste in the plating. You will find the world in its culinary manifestations, from the tradition of Lombard cuisine, to the freshness of Mediterranean cuisine, to the warmth of Berber cuisine, to the ardour of Mexican cuisine, to the smokiness of North American BBQ, as well as very sophisticated dishes. Don't expect all this every day. The menu is always limited because the preparation of each dish must be accurate and precise. You will find a careful and varied cellar with wines that always go well with the dish and dishes that willingly accompany wines. The dining room staff is friendly, always listening, flexible enough, at home when requested, very professional for the purpose. The answer for you is: 'If you wanted to come here, yes, you're in the right place!', to which I add my certainty: 'You'll come back here!'

13/07/2025: Sono stata con i miei familiari per la terza volta al Molino del Torchio, in mezzo alla natura a Cuasso al piano. Servizio accurato, personale gentile e buona scelta di piatti. C'è il menù degustazione a 39,00€ oppure alla carta . Io mi sono trovata bene con il primo: antipasto di salumi più patè , ravioli ( un po' al dente) con formaggio di capra e pomodorini, pesce persico con songino e sorbetto al mandarino. Gli altri hanno provato fiori di zucca con pesce, risotto, tortino, poi anche anatra arrosto e vari tipi di dolci, tutto buono. Caffè, buon vino ed acqua a un prezzo giusto.

01/06/2025: Sono stato ieri sera 31.05.2025 al Ristorante Mulino del torchio. Ristorante immerso nel verde una vera chicca. Siamo stati accolti da una bellissima atmosfera romantica e raffinata. Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene ,personale accogliente e preparato .
