We had lunch at Villa Baroni on Easter Monday. The property offers limited parking, but a few meters ahead, there are two free public parking lots. Because it was a special day, the restaurant was very crowded, and the wait was a bit long (but we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us). The only downside was that some waiters, one in particular, was running (literally) around the room. The food was delicious; the raw fish appetizer was excellent; we highly recommend it. The view is beautiful, and after lunch, we stopped by the pool to soak up some rays. That part of the property is also very beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant on Lake Varese with about 20 people, and we were truly delighted. The menu was well thought out, the dishes were of excellent quality and carefully prepared, and the service was efficient, friendly, and always attentive. All our guests had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this place for special occasions.

I had the opportunity and pleasure of dining at Villa Baroni for Riccardo's confirmation. I arrived slightly late due to work, but they promptly served me what I had specifically requested: a vegan menu. The dishes were truly exquisite, some of which I had never tried before. The atmosphere is welcoming, elegant, and comfortable, and the staff are kind and friendly. My personal experience at this restaurant is therefore largely positive, and I highly recommend it.

Alina gave us a very warm welcome and explained everything very well. She promptly and diligently fulfilled our requests. The hotel is located right on the lake, and the beautiful garden by the pool is truly inviting. 🥂 Greetings from the two motorcyclists

04/04/2026: If you're looking for authentic accommodation on Lake Maggiore, this is the perfect place. The view is simply unique and absolutely fantastic – the climb is definitely worth it! The hut is simply furnished, which is perfectly appropriate and fitting for its location on the mountain. I'd especially like to commend the owner: he's incredibly kind and welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. A truly special experience for anyone seeking peace and quiet and a stunning panorama!
31/03/2026: A place where you eat well, with very friendly owners and chefs. Thanks to the very kind, nice, and patient waitress. Spectacular view of the lake and Monte Rosa. The road up requires caution, even though it's well-maintained.

L'Uva Tardiva

30/04/2026: We had dinner for two the night before our departure from Malpensa. The food was truly excellent and the portions generous. The house wine was good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Considering the quality of the dishes, no cover charge, and the fact that side dishes are included with the main course, the prices are absolutely fair.
26/04/2026: After six years, we returned to L'uva tardiva in Soma Lombardo, and it was delicious! Our dishes were fresh and impeccably presented. They were served on hot plates! The owner who served us was so kind and charming! The mussels were exceptional! So tender and fresh, we ordered more later, and the truffle carbonara was a hit! This pasta was so wonderful and aromatic that I was moved by the explosion of flavors and textures! I highly recommend this place for its fresh products and its wonderful, welcoming atmosphere! Hugs to the owners and their fantastic, magical chefs!
