The staff and the owner were very welcoming and friendly. Even though there was a language barrier, it did not affect my dining experience at all. The food and drinks were delicious, and the sorbeto was especially surprising and memorable.
I visited this restaurant twice during my 2-day, 1-night trip, which shows how much I enjoyed it. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and comfortable. The staff would guide guests to their tables, so there was little opportunity to choose a preferred seating area, but the service was efficient and attentive.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and warm hospitality. Highly recommended.

Just dropped by to grab a bite in the evening. Nice wine, home cooking. Gnocci like my mom would make and pasta with potatoes ( yes.). Sound ridiculous but stupid good. Will be back.

Very interesting dishes, and the Tzigoiner (typical Valtellina dish) wrapped in pancetta is a must-try. Highly recommended. The wait is worth it, and in the meantime, they serve a platter/antipasto.
Along with some good craft beers.

Small friendly trattoria in the old town piazza. Need to book or turn up early, as we did and just got in, many arrived later to be turned away. Delicious regional menu, mostly meat dishes, good portions and value. Cured meat platter with pickles plenty for 2. Beef cheeks and steak expertly cooked.
