07/09/2023: Typical Alpine environment with very nice staff, you can taste typical dishes, refined cuisine, try the cream ice cream made with their milk and the shepherd's coffee. It is located right on the Gavia road, just before the hairpin bend, there is a good car park and, for those with mobility problems, it is possible to take public transport up to the mountain hut (100 m from the road). The starting and finishing point of hiking trails is MTB. Possibility of overnight stay. You can purchase home-produced dairy products, and teaching sessions are also held. Good value for money, we always come back with pleasure.

Il ristorante è nel centro storico di Morbegno con ambiente essenziale ma accogliente .Volendo ci sono anche 3/4 tavoli che si affacciano sulla piazzetta . Cortesia , professionalità nel servizio , piatti da ristorante di livello . Ottima scelta con possibilità anche di menu di pesce . Ottima carta dei vini . Tutto davvero buono e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo . Ci torneremo sicuramente !

One of the waitresses, to our more than justified complaint (and in any case expressed in a polite manner), gave an unspeakable response, which I am not reporting just for the sake of decency. Furthermore, dearest, we really got a beating by eating really badly. We've been going there for years, but we'll go elsewhere in the future. Sin.

Warm and refined environment, with wooden interiors and furnishings that convey the idea of ​​hospitality and warmth typical of a mountain hut. I found all the courses, starting from the amuse-bouche, sensational: each course was perfectly balanced in flavours, with the constant presence of a blue-veined part which I found particularly pleasant. The leavened products and the fermented products on the menu also deserve a note of praise, as they are truly well executed. To top it all off, the attentive and extremely friendly service made the lunch even more pleasant.

06/01/2024: I stayed in the refuge this summer for three days for a treat. It is located in an ideal place as a starting point for beautiful walks of variable difficulty depending on what you are looking for; all immersed in a breathtaking landscape. Clean and tidy refuge with excellent food (every evening I had an encore); most of all I will take with me the hospitality of the managers who made us feel at home. An obligatory destination for mountain lovers.
