29/08/2025: Gorgeous place, surrounded by greenery and very relaxing. The restaurant feels like a mountain cabin, the food is excellent, simple and tasty. The staff is helpful and always smiling, making you feel at home. I have two small children and they had a great time, so much greenery and everything is safe and fenced in. 20/09/2025: We're coming back from a motorcycle ride in the Piacenza hills. VARZI was one of our stops to stop for a bite, and we were very pleasantly surprised to find this fantastic little place. We had a delicious traditional appetizer and two first courses. We were truly happy and satisfied. The service was impeccable, and the staff were truly kind and helpful. We hadn't ordered dessert for the coffee, so we were served some really delicious homemade cookies. This will definitely bring a lot of positive publicity to friends and family who will be passing through VARZI.

15/06/2025: In an era where Madagascar vanilla, pecan nuts, Bronte pistachio (and God only knows if the raw material is authentic) are trendy, and then you taste an ice cream that you have to challenge yourself to try to really feel the taste, the ice cream shop La Perla remains an institution that, ignoring passing fads, continues to offer good, high-quality ice cream.

02/10/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give one star because my boyfriend and I felt terrible after ordering takeout with overcooked fish. We've always been there and always had a great time, I never thought I'd feel this bad. Never again will I eat sushi in my life😩. The local health authority should have a check, especially in these places. You don't joke around with people's health!

15/09/2025: I've known this sushi place for years and used to like it, but it's gotten much worse over the past year. I decided to give it another try last night for dinner and was unfortunately disappointed. The service and atmosphere were okay... nothing special I've seen at other sushi places, but the food was very disappointing. I felt the fish wasn't as fresh as you'd expect from sushi, almost leaving an unpleasant aftertaste (this is true for raw fish). But the thing that disappointed me most was the fried hosomaki (rice balls with salmon, all fried). The fried food was not only cold but rubbery, a sign that it had been fried hours ago and then reheated. I was sick all night because I couldn't digest what I'd eaten. I don't recommend this place; there's much better sushi.

18/10/2025: The hostess outdid herself with the tiramisu she prepared. World-class, airy, light, with the perfect coffee-to-chocolate ratio. The best tiramisu of my life. Thank you so much!!!

17/10/2025: Pizzeria restaurant across from the Mortaea train station. We had pizza on Sunday. It wasn't anything special, but it was good. The waiters were friendly but not very attentive. I must say the restaurant was busy, but that's where a waiter's skill really shines. Anyway, we ate well, the price was average. If I'm in the area again, I'll gladly return.

07/09/2025: Excellent package pickup location! The Chinese guys who run it are very friendly, and the atmosphere is functional. I only had coffee, so I can't comment on the food. I still recommend it, especially considering its location in the center of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
