17/08/2025: Amazing kebab, succulent, carefully spiced, plentiful, fragrant, flaky yufka "piadina" made according to tradition... their kebab is addictive! Very kind owners.

11/08/2025: Excellent kebab, very good and to say it I felt like a lion with his prey... all the flavors blend together very well, kind guys, worth trying if you are in these parts for work etc., just a stone's throw from the train station.

05/10/2025: Beautiful place, very friendly staff who accommodated our needs by increasing our table even though it was full. Delicious sandwiches, with tasty and always new combinations. The desserts are also very good, and the prices are fair considering the excellent quality of the products. 5 stars well deserved!

24/09/2025: This is the kind of mom and pop Italian restaurants I crave for in my dream and is disappearing fast after the pandemic. I am truly blessed to have find it in Trieste thanks to next door restaurant that turned us away. I ate here two night straight! If you are here during porcini season, don’t miss out their tagliatelle with porcini. The fusi with black truffle is fantastic and the price more than reasonable. The entrees are expertly cooked, no fuss but every seasoning is to the point without overpowering the ingredients’ fresh and savory character. A gem if you long for nonna’s cooking.

28/11/2025: Pizzas are made to perfection, the ones with buffalo mozzarella are excellent; try the Bella Napoli, with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, oregano, and basil. The other dishes are also excellent. Today we had mussel soup accompanied by an olive oil and oregano pizza, a perfect pairing. The owner, originally from Salerno, is friendly; if you like him, he'll let you try his limoncello.

03/09/2025: A standard bar. Very important for its opening hours: it's almost always open. A must-visit for those who work long hours. Well-stocked and easily accessible thanks to the huge parking lot next door.

13/10/2025: I'm Argentinian and I went there several times in 2023 with my father and grandparents. I've never eaten pizza as good as this place. I'll never forget the owner's kindness. I remember him giving us a calzone on my last day in Italy. I'll always carry this place in my heart, along with my grandfather.

25/04/2025: We found this place by chance, as they also offer gluten-free options. It's not a very big place, but it's cute, with a unique and inviting menu. They also do pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful. The desserts are perhaps a little pricey. Still, highly recommended.

17/11/2025: Excellent dinner for two, welcoming and homey. We got there in less than 10 minutes by car and it was easy to find parking. I found the appetizer a bit pricey at €12 for 8 slices of cured meat... But the gnocchi with cod sauce made me change my mind. Highly recommended for couples and families.

03/11/2025: We were there on Saturday, November 1st, 8 of us. The food was good, the service was incredibly slow. We sat down at 1:00 PM and left at 3:30 PM, ordering an appetizer and a first course. The only downside was that the bill was €3 for a shared dish. None of us asked for the appetizer to be split between two plates, or for small dishes, or anything else. The appetizers came out as they usually do. Even though it's written on the menu, it's shameful and pathetic.

08/11/2025: Arriving from Puglia (Gallipoli) at Voghera station, as we exited, we couldn't help but notice the 'Bar Roma' in front of us: we went in for breakfast. Despite rush hour, we were immediately greeted with kindness and courtesy! Excellent coffee and fresh, fragrant croissants, with the option of choosing from their delicious cakes (which, we were later able to verify, are homemade every day). Later, wandering around to get to know the city better, finding ourselves in the area again, we made the best discovery at lunchtime! In their welcoming room adjacent to the bar, there is the possibility of enjoying a complete menu, prepared and renewed every day by a 'tough boss' 💪🏼💞 whom we greet and thank with affection, a very smart lady 💞 whom we had the opportunity, together with the formidable and equally smart, three girls 💞💞💞, to know personally 👋🏼👋🏼. Every day different dishes, prepared by choosing local raw materials, fresh and genuine, tasty and abundant first courses, equally good second courses, enriched by seasonal vegetable side dishes, always prepared in a different way and finally we could not fail to conclude with the exquisite dessert of the day! 😋😋😋 All accompanied by a red wine, beautiful full-bodied (always produced in the family), which went well with the dishes choices😋🔝🔝🔝It was so good that we then decided to bring a few bottles back to Puglia! More than fair prices! We thank Emma and all the staff at 'Bar Roma' for making us feel at home! And as they say in our capital: DAJE TUTTA SEMPRE!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼We plan to return during our trip to visit the beautiful hilly areas beyond the Po Pavese! Goodbye, see you soon girls! 30/07/2025: Questa trattoria è un vero e proprio tuffo nel passato, con un'atmosfera che ricorda gli anni '60 e '70. Il cibo è di alta qualità, il servizio è impeccabile e l'ambiente è semplicemente meraviglioso. La cucina è ottima, con sapori locali autentici che esaltano la tradizione culinaria del territorio. E per completare l'esperienza, la vista sul fiume Po è semplicemente piacevole e meravigliosa. È come tornare indietro nel tempo e ritrovare la magia di un'epoca passata. Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria a tutti coloro che cercano un'esperienza unica e autentica. 5 stelle senza dubbio!

27/07/2025: Il posto è molto bello immerso nella natura, il servizio gentile veloce e professionale. Il menù del giorno ottimo con i prezzi buoni, le razioni nella norma. Il menù alla carta ricercato ma a mio avviso un po' caro. Nel complesso da consigliare.
