02/12/2025: If you love treating yourself, you can't miss Simo.Restaurant.
We went there on Sunday for lunch and decided to indulge in Simo's all-you-can-eat formula, and what can we say... everything was perfect, from the delicious, not-at-all-greasy fried appetizers to the phenomenal Roman classics, and finally the delicious main courses and side dishes, all topped off by Simo and the staff's friendliness, who make you feel right at home.
The staff are very helpful, the service is fast, and the restaurant is gorgeous.
Everything definitely exceeded our expectations. We'll be back to try other dishes, as well as the pinsa and pizza.

21/02/2026: A couple's dinner on Valentine's Day. Quality food, a welcoming and intimate atmosphere, excellent service. Kudos to Carolina for recommending the perfect wine to go with the dishes. She was professional in explaining the dishes and attentive to the customer's needs. Recommended.

17/04/2026: Calling it a "piola" isn't accurate, as it's a very beautiful, tidy, and comfortable place: the real piola is more unrefined! Excellent menu, excellent ingredients, generous portions, and good wine.

Unfortunately, in your reply, you didn't understand that I was talking about poor quality for the price, not QUANTITY. Your manner significantly undermines my opinion, and if I would never have returned to you before, now no one I know will. Furthermore, I identified myself with my personal details (since I hate anonymity), but I don't know who the person who responded to me is!

19/03/2026: Excellent place!! We not only had a delicious cake, but they also have a great variety of preserves and the daily menu was delicious!!!
The staff were very friendly. I'm thinking of moving to Pavia so I can go more often.
09/03/2026: A little too nostalgic for the '80s in my opinion. Decorations everywhere, service on a trolley, and a piece of paper at the table. My cream brioche, I suspect, had been defrosted, and the (very small) cream had been cooked inside. The cappuccino was truly generous.
I found the prices to be very high.
I was disappointed that this was my experience, as it's a place with an excellent reputation.

31/03/2026: The only thing that was left of the aperitivo was the atmosphere. I asked the waiter for four aperitivos and I received four Spritzes plus a bowl of chips with seven chips and five olives.
I wouldn't say I expect much from an aperitivo, but the chips and olives are usually given to you for free. When you order a Spritz at an aperitivo, I expect at least two mini pizzas.
If you're not having an aperitivo, I'd suggest letting your customers know in advance that aperitivos, and this one, don't raise expectations.
It seems the oil crisis has hit here too.

12/01/2026: Dear owner of this pizzeria... I'd like to inform you that responding to your past customers like this isn't very polite! It's a good thing it says "Reservations required" on the front door, but what are we supposed to do if no one answers the phone? 🤣
11/01/2026: I'm writing a review just to let everyone know, albeit reluctantly, that they've apparently decided to close. I stopped by this evening and saw that the gate is closed and the sign is off.
I'm writing this here because apparently they didn't give any warning.

23/02/2026: A quaint and well-kept restaurant. Excellent hospitality and service. The dishes are typical of the Lomellina area, featuring goose dishes: a selection of goose cured meats, pâté with fig brioche, and goose salami with a delicious Russian salad. Risotto with saffron and goose livers. Slow-cooked goose leg: incredibly tender. The goose-filled ravioli are delicious and delicate, as are the slightly revisited bourguignonne snails. A good selection of wines.

The service was barely adequate, thanks to the kindness of the waitress.
The food was average, nothing more.
The quality/price ratio was absolutely adequate.

08/12/2025: Very interesting experience, I had already been there some time ago, this is different from the first experience, the atmosphere is restaurant-like but also beautiful, the staff very kind and helpful, excellent dishes from appetizer to dessert, as for the price, I can't say, because it was an invitation, quality and price are acceptable, I think I will repeat the experience as soon as possible.
07/12/2025: Spacious space, suitable for groups. Excellent service. Excellent food. Reservations recommended.
