The perfect place to build a frog and snail menu, even the newcomers couldn't resist trying the unusual dishes, and the results were... a revelation! The fried frogs are better than fries, and the frog risotto is also worth it. The tasty snails deserve to be served with a few slices of polenta. The ambiance is dated, but it reflects the multi-generational tradition. Rightly so, after all. The service is efficient and attentive, personally overseen by the charmingly gruff owner.

I've been going there for over 10 years, for frog risotto and frog stew. This time the frog stew had too much tomato and was a bit salty, perhaps smaller than I remembered. However, the owners and staff were very welcoming. They told us where to buy Baldo rice. It's impossible to find in Milan. Seb

A historic family-run restaurant in the countryside (5 generations!) serving authentic cuisine with simple, flavorful dishes and friendly, fast service. Top value: around €70 for two, including two appetizers, two main courses, two desserts, half a liter of wine, water, and one liqueur. Highly recommended

Wonderful experience! A very simple, clean, and elegant trattoria. Excellent and very attentive service. Very good food at fair prices. The frogs are delicious in every sauce (fried, breaded, etc.). The homemade desserts are very good.

Excellent country trattoria with traditional food, fair prices for the quality of the ingredients. I'd probably choose a slightly larger first course, but the rest is top marks.

21/05/2026: I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for a small constructive criticism... beautiful location and good dishes, but the fixed weekend menu, in my opinion, has somewhat limited portions. The (very friendly) staff comes around with trays, giving each person 1/2 slice of cured meats and 2-3 spoonfuls of risotto at most. Regardless, I still recommend it 👍🏻
17/05/2026: We found ourselves here by chance, thinking we'd just grab a quick bite...not knowing there was a set menu with long waiting times, like a formal dinner...(€40 per person)... We should have done more research before sitting down...

15/05/2026: I ordered some mixed platters for an aperitif. The fried gnocco was good, not too greasy. The cured meats and cheeses were excellent.
10/05/2026: The Fassona tartare was very good, I'll be back.
