The place is clean and tidy, if a bit spartan: plywood tables and chairs, paper tablecloths and napkins (but the staff is always dressed in uniform). Excellent food (homemade pasta, ragù, and baked scallops prepared daily). Excellent value, too.
Just dropped by for a coffee.
It reminded me of the classic trattorias found in the villages in this part of the Po Valley, now few and far between, whose calling cards were courtesy and authenticity.
I'll definitely be back.
