12/04/2026: The place is slightly hidden behind staircase leading into it with a beautiful view onto the lake. We had the pleasure to meet the owner and other costumers and have light conversations alongside a variety of cheeses and meats provided to us which I recommend requesting honey and jam as well as olives to accompany your tastings. Time flew by when enjoying good food and company. If wanting to visit the area i highly this experience.

The family who runs this bar/café is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and generous.
We were treated like friends and had a wonderful time.
The focaccias are delicious, and so are the Spritz.
Simply thank you for making our stay in Nesso even more memorable.

15/03/2026: My wife and I went to lunch at Cantuccio thanks to a friend who gave me a coupon for my 70th birthday.
We immediately hit it off because the welcome was very warm and we immediately loved the rustic yet refined atmosphere.
We sampled an eight-course fish menu, and they were truly delicious.
A special mention goes to the owner/chef, who very courteously stopped by a few times to ask how the meal was going, if we were satisfied, and to engage in personal conversation with the guests and even with us: a truly delightful person.
The ladies who served the dishes described the composition of each dish to us; they too were very pleasant and friendly, while remaining professional.
In conclusion: we truly had a great time and I think we'll return, perhaps with a few friends, on another special occasion.

12/02/2026: As a native of Abruzzo, I can assure you it's truly exceptional. The atmosphere is very welcoming, making you feel at home. The quality of the products is excellent, and you can sense great attention to detail in selecting the ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the Farindola pecorino cheese, which was truly superb. The arrosticini were extraordinary, perfectly cooked and with the perfect amount of salt (just how we like them in Abruzzo).
An experience I recommend without hesitation.

What can I say...absolutely perfect, both visually and to the taste.
I cook it and try it often in other restaurants: I consider it the best ever.
Definitely worth a try.
15/03/2026: Excellent food, perfect service with explanations of each course, classic crotto atmosphere. The only downside is that when it's crowded, the acoustics aren't great. Highly recommended, whether for a group or a couple.

13/11/2025: The restaurant owner is very nice. I tried three different types of toast there, and I keep coming back every day because I loved them so much. They were all delicious, especially the vegetable toast with eggplant and olive sauce – absolutely amazing! Definitely worth trying.

26/10/2025: We visited this wonderful cafe three different times in our 4 day visit. They have excellent snacks, coffee and drinks no matter what time you need a pick me up. Matteo, the owner, is awesome and gave us fantastic recommendations for other restaurants in Como and even made a reservation for us! If we get the chance, we’ll be back again!
