31/05/2025: Delicious warm panini served with beautiful quality ingredients! Just Wow. One of the best paninis I’ve had in Italy. You can make your own or buy from their suggested options and they have a screen to make your items with several translation options! The guys are absolutely lovely! Highly recommend!!

29/05/2025: Absolutely lovely. The staff seemed like genuinely nice people and were a joy to talk to. The food is worth every penny. For 6€ you get a sandwich with freshly baked bread and fresh ham (or whatever meat you choose). Loved it, would always come back when visiting Como.

21/05/2025: One of the best pastry shops we visited in Italy! Right from the entrance you could smell the fresh pastries, and looking at the selection it was hard to decide what to choose 😍 We decided on a cookie with elderberry (something amazing - soft, slightly crumbly, with a taste that is hard to forget), a double cookie with a slightly alcoholic cream (very fresh, expressive), a tube with custard cream (I haven't eaten such a homemade, perfectly balanced in taste tube in a long time), a lemon tartlet (perfect shortcrust pastry with a very refreshing cream) and a local delicacy - miascia (bread pudding). I wouldn't be able to choose which was the best. ❤️ If I'm ever back in the area - I'll definitely be back!

10/05/2025: We celebrated the wedding at Nuovo Bosco: what can I say... The location is spectacular, perfect for a day outdoors and with beautifully decorated interiors. Added to this are the competence of the entire team and an excellent cuisine that is very attentive to every request and intolerance. The organization and management of the event were perfect and as the icing on the cake there were a whole series of "accessory" services such as wedding favors (the jams were delicious) and sugared almonds. We definitely couldn't have trusted better hands for our wedding!

03/05/2025: Very nice restaurant surrounded by greenery. I was in this location as a guest at a wedding. Impeccable organization, original and truly excellent food. Outside, aperitif, organized in islands, where nothing was missing... indeed!! Single portions of every kind and type, fish, meat, cheeses, cured meats, very refined and truly excellent, all accompanied by the professionalism of the room and counter staff. Freshly cooked fried food island. They satisfied all my needs given my lactose intolerance without any problems. Excellent country chic location. Really compliments. And a special thanks also to the little Lama, well cared for and managed by the boy who encouraged guests to pet him and take beautiful photos. A very beautiful estate. COMPLIMENTS!

07/05/2025: Sono stata al Gallo Nero diverse volte e devo dire che ogni volta è sempre un piacere. Atmosfera accogliente, personale gentile ti fanno sentire a casa piatti davvero deliziosi. Ogni cosa che ho mangiato era curata nei dettagli e molto gustosa. La location è elegante e raffinata, ideale sia per una cena romantica che per un'occasione speciale. L'ambiente curato, con un'atmosfera rilassante che rende tutto ancora più piacevole.

10/05/2025: Extremely professional staff, intimate venue with attention to detail, the only flaw: the price. There were 3 of us: a gin and tonic, a mojito, and a virgin mojito (= non-alcoholic mojito, I was asked how I wanted it since there were various flavors and I chose tropical, the result was a glass of tropical fruit JUICE. I had requested a zero coke but it wasn't available). The total: €15 each, which for drinks seems more than fair to me and in line with the place, but for a glass of juice with a ball of ice inside it seems excessive, or at least not consistent with the price of cocktails containing alcohol.

21/04/2025: Fantastic restaurant, great food with lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help two English people who struggled to read Italian menus everywhere we went. Enjoyed it so much we went twice in a 5-night stay. Try the homemade tiramisu, bellissimo! Hope to return again 😄

Every dish we tried was memorable. The service was equally impressive: warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. The setting is charming, and if you’re lucky enough to get a table with a view, it makes the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place — it truly stands out among the many restaurants I’ve visited in Italy!
