First time at this restaurant on Via Borgovico Vecchia, just steps from the stadium. The place is well-maintained, with limited seating.
The menu isn't terribly extensive, but it does offer interesting dishes. There aren't any dishes inspired by tradition or the local area, which, in my humble opinion, is a real shame.
The dishes are carefully crafted and well-presented. I had the pasta with clams and bottarga and the apple tatin with ice cream, both delicious.
I find the price a bit excessive; 20% less would have been more appropriate, but these days, in Como, you can no longer be surprised by these prices.
That said, the food was good, and I'm glad I tried it.

This restaurant was a pleasant discovery, both for its ambiance and its cuisine. The atmosphere is very calm and pleasantly understated. The food is excellent! I had the opportunity to try the cooked seafood salad, and it was exquisite. But the dish I would truly call exceptional was the fish soup, which here is served in a ceramic cocotte and covered in puff pastry. A true delight, definitely worth returning for more! Besides being refined, it was packed with just the right amount of seafood and served at the perfect temperature! The homemade tiramisu was also delicious.

Such an incredible good restaurant.
The food was excellent and very unusual with nice surprises. High quality products and haute cuisine preparation. On top of that we discovered unique wines. The owners absolutly lovely and very nice hosts.
The restaurant is a little bit in a hidden corner of Como but absolutly worthwile to go!!
We will come back for sure!!

Comi107 is one of those places that deserves to be discovered and talked about.
Family-run, with a strong identity, and cuisine by Federico Comi, with a refined French accent, excellent ingredients, and splendid à la minute dishes.
Two truly memorable dishes: the foie gras terrine, cooked according to his grandmother's recipe, and a simply sensational seafood soup in a crust.
A truly satisfying lunch in a true haven of flavor.
A restaurant that's still too hidden compared to its value. It deserves much more attention.

Comi107, specializing in seafood, definitely deserves a review, perhaps because I love seafood.
The bread served before the meal was simple, but I ate almost all of it, as I couldn't resist wiping every last drop of sauce off each plate.
The first three courses were raw squid, scallops, and sweet shrimp. I especially loved the subtle lime flavor in the squid, and the scallop mayonnaise and caviar were smooth and rich. The sweet shrimp dish felt slightly repetitive, but it wasn't bad.
The next four hot dishes took a long time to arrive, and by then I was jet-lagged and sleepy. The first was mussels, which were a bit salty for me on their own, but the broth was very similar to lobster bisque, perfect for dipping bread in. The second dish, pumpkin, was absolutely delicious! Two different textures of pumpkin layered together, enveloped in a warm white sauce, created a wonderfully creamy texture—finally, not mashed potatoes!
The main course was cod dumplings, garnished with fried octopus bits. The filling was silky smooth, and the exterior resembled salty popping candy. So delicious! The last dish was octopus; many restaurants massage octopuses to soften them, and this one did too. It was soft inside and crispy on the outside, tossed with garlic slices and vinegar.
Unlike those restaurants that research fermentation or food simulation and turn a meal into a performance, this place felt more like dining at a friend's house who can cook. The chef clearly didn't focus on the flat plating; instead, he concentrated on the structure of the ingredients. The highlight of this meal was the three-dimensional and layered texture and flavor; every bite was wonderful.
I hope it stays here.

A good dinner, no doubt. Excellent linguine and fish soup. Ditto the pumpkin. Two flaws: €14 for a glass of Chardonnay is too much. The place is a bit too noisy.
