01/11/2025: Having reached Salò by bicycle, we stopped at this lovely restaurant. The view of the lake is excellent and relaxing. We only tried the first courses, such as the spaghetti with clams, which were excellent. As for the rest, I saw well-presented fish dishes at the adjacent tables, and I presume they were also good. The prices are a little high, but average for the area.

30/10/2025: I was looking for a place for a business lunch that combined a beautiful view with good food, and I couldn't have made a better choice! The food is excellent, with incredibly fresh fish and dishes prepared with attention to detail. The view of the lake is simply breathtaking, perfect for relaxing even during a professional meeting. The service is excellent, attentive, and courteous at all times. A well-established restaurant that consistently delivers on its quality. Highly recommended!

21/07/2025: We went to A Lumia in Brescia for the first time. I'd been wanting to try it for a while, but for one reason or another, I'd never gotten around to it. Today we finally went. We were curious to try the panelle, but unfortunately they weren't available, nor were any other items on the menu. We opted for a caponata, which turned out to be very good, and three arancini. Unfortunately, the rice was completely overcooked; the grain had turned into a sort of cream. The cheese inside was hard and wouldn't melt. The breading also left a bit to be desired. We mentioned this to the owner; initially, she seemed a bit annoyed, but her son appreciated our mentioning it and recognized the value of constructive criticism. We also tried a sandwich with Nebrodi mortadella and primo sale cheese: good, yes, but nothing exceptional. It's a shame the sandwiches aren't made with Sicilian bread; we'd been told that, but in my opinion, traditional bread would have really made a difference. The cannoli was decent, quite good. The service was courteous and helpful. The restaurant, however, leaves a bit to be desired: the atmosphere is very old, neglected, and with obvious signs of damp. I think it needs a major renovation. We spent €26 in total.

15/10/2025: Excellent hotel. The carpet is everywhere, soft underfoot. The key card to open the room door is left on the wall inside the room, with a small blue light that stays on all night. There was no hot chocolate for breakfast.

05/01/2026: We spent a few wonderfully relaxing days here and would come back anytime. The location above Lake Iseo is absolutely stunning! It's peaceful, with a truly beautiful view, yet still easily accessible. Perfect for unwinding. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, extremely clean, and you immediately feel at home. You can tell that a lot of heart and soul goes into this place. We would especially like to commend the owners: incredibly friendly, warm, and pleasantly unobtrusive. You don't feel like a guest, but almost like you're visiting friends. Exactly the kind of hospitality you hope for. The food was also a real highlight. Breakfast was lovingly prepared, relaxed, and offered a wide selection, and the restaurant in the evening is highly recommended. The pizza is, without exaggeration, one of the best we've had in a long time! And I say that as someone who is half Italian! Overall, a place with soul: peaceful, genuine, welcoming, and with excellent value for money. A stay you'll fondly remember. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: For me, it remains the number one pizza. There are no rivals. Its pizzas are delicious, tasty, and fragrant. All the others, for me, don't exist.

06/09/2025: We've been in the area for a short time, and we've been getting pizza here ever since we tried it for the first time. The dough is light, with a variety of choices, and they especially take care of intolerances (gluten and lactose). The pizza chef is kind and friendly. Top.

13/08/2025: It says dogs are allowed, but as soon as you arrive, they look at you with disgust (blonde waitress with glasses) and won't let you have a lake view; you have to stay upstairs (without a view)! Obviously, we left. Suitable for people who don't have pets.

11/10/2025: After last week's positive experience at La Fontanella by Mrs. Gianna in Cidivale Mantovano, we've landed at La Fossa di Pavone Mella. 07/09/2025: Really good pizza, wide selection. You can dine in or take out. The place is very unique, clean, and pleasant, both for family dinners and groups of friends of all ages.

04/01/2026: We entered with a reservation at "The Fork," which included a 20% discount. Part of the menu was blanked out (the risottos), and it wasn't marked on "The Fork." When we went inside to tell them about our reservation, the owner wasn't aware of the reservation. The discount wasn't applied to our bill. The dishes were completely different from the original recipes (amatriciana made with cooked ham). Avoid!

15/11/2025: The fact that I could choose vermouth gave me hope that I'd be able to enjoy a good Negroni. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case: there was virtually no mixing, and the vermouth released the classic unpleasant notes that come from long-open and poorly stored drinks.

28/12/2025: I did not expect much, maybe a standard hotel dinner with some tourist classics. I was pleasantly surprised when I was served probably one of the best meals I can remember. Yes the service is not snappy but it’s thorough and accurate. When I had the pasta I almost cried with joy.
