I recommend trying everything :) Every visit is a new discovery of aromas and flavors!

09/03/2026: Terrible experience. The service from the two waiters was absolutely obnoxious and at times arrogant. We waited 30 minutes, and there were only four of us. The food was nothing special, and we paid a lot. They'll never see us again.

10/01/2026: The place was crowded, but that wasn't the problem. We made a reservation for 8:00 PM, and the food arrived at 10:00 PM, honestly, way past any reasonable time, especially since we ordered their specialty, pulled pork, which is basically a sandwich. My sister even found a hair in her sandwich, but that can happen. Not recommended, at least not on a Saturday night.

02/12/2025: A pub from another era where you can find delicious sandwiches made on the spot, a wide selection of beers and above all a genuine atmosphere that takes you back in time and where you can find movement even during the week.

16/11/2025: Sunday lunch with a birthday to celebrate (not mine), we arrive in a pouring rainstorm and park a little far from the restaurant entrance since the parking lot is practically full. We enter a location already decorated with a Christmas tree... A good impression, a warm and well-kept atmosphere in the large room scares me; from which I deduce the deafening noise... instead, a courteous waiter escorts us to the smaller and more accessible room, about 25-27 seats, carefully set and, as expected, peace reigns. The diners converse in calm tones, which is certainly much appreciated. The food is excellent, starting with the appetizers: robiola and chestnut rice, ravioli with bagos (aged cheese), grilled beef entrecote, skewered polenta and grilled vegetables, and finally, dessert, all washed down with a good red wine... Very satisfied with this sensory and tasteful experience, and our gratitude goes to all the staff who looked after us excellently. The only flaw is that the wait is a little long, but understandable given that when we arrived at the same time, at least 50 people arrived. We will definitely be back!!

04/08/2025: We were lucky enough to get a room spontaneously because we wanted to escape the German rain of 2025. Based on pictures and reviews, we had decided to book a "value-for-money" option, but we were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it! The room is not only quite new but also clean. It is cleaned and fresh towels are provided. We have a window with a lake view. This also means it's right on the road, which you have to be comfortable with in terms of noise. This was good for us, and as soon as the traffic dies down, you can hear the sound of the waves, bellissimo. In addition to the accommodation itself, I would like to emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. Unfortunately, we needed this because our car broke down on our arrival. They helped us communicate with repair shops that only spoke Italian and even offered to drive us to the next village. This is unfortunately necessary, as the location between tunnels means there's no way to reach a restaurant on foot. So for us it was much more than just a "value for money" booking but really a warm recommendation - for everyone who has a working car ;)
