08/09/2025: We went there for pizza. It was delicious.

08/09/2025: A very cozy restaurant, perfect for families. Ristorante Pizzeria Gily not only offers delicious food and a wide selection on the menu, but also has its own playground where children can entertain themselves while parents relax and eat. The staff deserves special mention: always friendly, attentive, and helpful – you feel truly welcome here. After dinner, a short stroll along the waterfront promenade is worthwhile – a lovely way to end your visit. If you're looking for good food and a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you.

22/09/2025: We had dinner as a group. We each had about two dishes. Personally, I didn't find the food exceptional, and it didn't remind me much of the flavors of the cuisines I'd tried on the road: the Vietnamese crepes were a bit dry and spread out, the tamago sando had very little scrambled egg and what I thought was a less than adequate bread, the kimchi rice was a bit bland, while the pad thai, my favorite dish, was better. The bill was fair, about €30 per person.

17/09/2025: We start with a delivery man bringing McDonald's food inside. If the food is so good, why order from outside? Oh, it was 9 PM when it happened. Despite my hesitation, we sit down and eat, nothing special. It's time for dessert, so we order it and wait, wait, wait. We ask the waitress, who was visibly embarrassed, but she tells us she'll be there soon. We go outside for a cigarette, and what I think was the kitchen staff was sitting around chatting at the tables outside. Excellent service, I'd say. We pay and leave. Keep ordering delivery, it's better.

07/09/2025: A nice place to get bread, pizza, focaccia, etc. ... but also for breakfast.

04/08/2025: After choosing and ordering our pastries and waiting a quarter of an hour at our table, we were informed that the pastries we'd chosen had been sold at the counter. Terrible management.

13/04/2025: Senza dubbio pizza buona. Prezzi alti, ma la qualità è alta. La pecca è che da quando siamo entrati a quando siamo usciti non abbiamo ricevuto né un sorriso né un grazie dalle ragazze in sala (l’uomo che ci ha fatto il conto almeno si). Non eravamo pronti per ordinare, abbiamo chiesto qualche minuto in più, dopo 1 minuto erano già lì a richiedercelo. Sparecchiavano alla velocità della luce, mentre alcuni di noi stavano ancora mangiando. Prezzi dei dolci anche quelli troppo alti, sicuramente buoni ma comunque troppo alti (gelato con fragole 8€). Ci tornerei, ma sperando che ci sia un po’ più di accoglienza !

28/09/2025: Avoid like the plague. We went to this place I've known all my life because we hadn't been there in 25 years, and now I remember why. These people don't even know what a Mexican is. Or even what decent food is. We ordered chips with guacamole: very few chips, but the guacamole... for goodness sake, I make it 100 times better. Tasteless, runny (I think they dilute it with water), we had to add salt to taste it. Then we got some tacos. €11.50 for a plate with a tiny taco, dry as hell, burned. But what about the inside? A conglomeration of completely tasteless, unseasoned ingredients, disgusting. We asked for mayonnaise and filled them with that so they could have any flavor at all. And the side potatoes? Brown, soggy, and chock-full of salty, heavy spices. My son got a cutlet and fries. Not even that one was saved. Frozen rubbish, worse than a piece of plastic. 57.50 euros for not having eaten anything decent, an infinite sadness and disappointment. Not to mention they charged us for mayonnaise. Do you charge for sauces at a Mexican restaurant? I would have paid double if I could have eaten a Mexican restaurant worthy of the name, like the most famous place in the center of Brescia once was, which unfortunately has closed. Conclusion? We got home and had to eat a pizza to avoid starving. Never again, some places deserve to close tomorrow. Years and years of incompetence and they remain unchanged.

04/09/2025: Very nice room, unfortunately the staff was quite rude towards us and annoyed even with the smallest requests (all denied for non-existent reasons), the food was a bit terrible

26/05/2025: Eccellente pranzo di lavoro in un grazioso locale con servizio rapido e cortese. Il mio collega ed io abbiamo preso un arrosto di vitello eccellente con un contorno molto buono, acqua, un quartino di buon vino e un caffè: 22 euro totali. Bravissimi, gentili e onesti! Lo consiglio e ci tornerò quanto prima.

26/09/2025: Good food and drinks. Prices are really reasonable, especially considering the entire complex. Dogs are allowed, and the pool is also very nice. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was very clean, although it was a bit cold the first night. We'd gladly return. Just don't underestimate the climb up from the water.

24/08/2025: We arrived there 4 people at lunch time. 1 table free, where we sat down. Immediately after, the owner came with a sign that said reserved and slapped it down on the table, so we had to stand and wait until a couple left. A young man came and took our drink order. We asked for a menu, they didn't have one, but there was a sign over on a wall we could look at, he said. Everything was in Italian!! The owner seemed incredibly repulsive when he spoke to people. We were there for 2 hours - and no one came and sat down at the reserved table. The food was okay. We will never come back

28/08/2025: My favorite place for Pizza 🥰 Everyone is super friendly and it is always a joy to be there. The Pizza is super good and all the ingredients are always fresh. Parking in front of the door and even gelato is possible. Ask for Pizza Nutelloso if you like sweet things.

25/08/2025: We stopped at this little place somewhat by chance. The pizza was good and generous with toppings. The owner was very kind, and we got to chatting, and he even offered us coffee. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by.

05/10/2025: You can eat refined Brescian cuisine. Many unusual dishes. For the quality, it's absolutely not expensive.

26/08/2025: Very nice location right next to the Duomo di Paolo. We enjoyed an aperitivo at lunch and received a generous platter of ham, salami, and crackers with our drinks – free of charge. Very friendly service and absolutely fair prices, especially for the central location.

08/08/2025: We came for a spritz and were brought a tray with various appetizers, we had a pleasant time, the waiters were very welcoming. We came back the next day and we will continue to come!
