28/08/2025: Excellent home-style trattoria. We went there on a Sunday for lunch with the family, including two children aged 7 and 2. The traditional cuisine is very well cooked and the set menu is absolutely fair. The prices are absolutely reasonable. It's a shame there aren't many vegetarian options, but they adapt and I found something to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

21/08/2025: The quaint village of Mascherpinga is reached with a short, pleasant stroll through stone houses and cobblestone streets, to this unforgettable Agriturismo, entirely run by Mother and Son. Three tables seating 26, where time seems to have stood still, offering us this journey into the origins of the Bergamo and Brescia valleys. They produce their own wine (3 different varieties): Cabernet and Merlot, 100% Pinot Noir, and 100% Merlot. As I write, they've opened a bottle of "Sarceti" (Merlot and Cabernet) from January 2023, and during a brief chat, the air is filled with the aroma of wine... which, upon sipping, confirms its deliciousness, born from its aroma, purity, and delicacy! Appetizer with pancetta, coppa, and beef salami, fried gnocco, onions, Russian salad, flavored croutons, giardiniera, and cheese. Purity and authenticity are the key words of this delightful establishment. The tagliatelle with wild boar had a light pasta that I greatly appreciated for its ability to balance the physiological heaviness of the sauce. Now the scent of rabbit takes over the air; with baked potatoes and polenta. The rabbit is also raised directly by the owners of this inimitable Agriturismo. A farmhouse with delicate cuisine, from sowing and raising the animals with care and dedication, to the art of cooking their own products with enthusiasm and commitment: also the fruit of growing up and living in these areas. To finish: Peach Tiramisu, coffee, and grappa; and a wonderful night in their adjacent B&B, outside where silence reigns supreme, the freshness is like the sea air, and dawn rises first in the village, illuminating the quiet that is increasingly missed in the city.

28/06/2025: Oggi a mezzogiorno abbiamo mangiato molto bene, Le lasagne di selvaggina,e pizzoccheri ottimi,piatto di polenta formaggio e funghi buono. Porzioni di dolce abbondanti e buone. Abbiamo scoperto che si può anche cenare alla sera ci torneremo.

25/05/2025: Siamo abituati a camminare e ad andare x rifugi. Ma come oggi, veramente male. Pessimi secondi, male i dolci, aggiunta di taragna inesistente e male male rapporto qualità-cibo. Da non ritornarci.

25/09/2025: The worst place in the Alzano area! Royal Caffè is a real disgrace—the most horrible aperitivo imaginable. The staff is incredibly rude; the head cashier is arrogant, presumptuous, and aggressive, incapable of accepting any criticism and always ready to impose his "truth." The appetizers are tragic: they seem days old, tasteless, and disgusting. The Aperols served were without bubbles, as if they had been made with expired ingredients. The atmosphere is squalid and depressing, the food simply inedible. A place that deceives customers with false promises and cynically disappoints them. Avoid at all costs and don't allow such squalid places to survive!

24/09/2025: The worst aperitivo and service in Alzano. We ordered two Aperol Spritzes and a soft drink. The Spritzes were flat, and you could barely taste the Aperol. They had used flat Prosecco and skimped on the Aperol. They brought them to us without an aperitivo. When we asked why, they said their aperitivo starts at 5:00 PM. We arrived at 4:40 PM, and there was no chance of an aperitivo before 5:00 PM. I then asked if they could change our order to a cocktail with an aperitivo (for a slightly higher cost) and bring us an aperitivo at 5:00 PM. They said yes. And they brought us some terrible appetizers right at their aperitivo time. Among the appetizers was a small bowl of reheated chips from the day before, rubbery, and even made everyone feel nauseous. When it came time to pay: €25.50 for three drinks. I asked for an explanation, because the prices for the drinks with an aperitif were much lower. It turned out they'd priced the drinks as drinks without an aperitif, and the aperitif separately, for which they charged us €7.50 total for the three of us, even though we'd agreed to convert the order to a cocktail with an aperitif, to be served at 5:00 PM. The gentleman at the cash register felt very justified and explained in a curt and rude manner that everything was in order and that I should pay that amount. Furthermore, when I pointed out that it was truly unfair to serve old, reheated chips, he reacted verbally, denying that they were from the day before, even though it was obvious they were still there and rubbery. I also mentioned that the Spritzes were without bubbles. He started waving his arms and speaking even more rudely. I explained that for all this they would definitely get 1 star, to which he replied that even if it were 0, he wouldn't care. Too bad you can't give 0, so I'll give it 1 star, which you don't deserve anyway. Shame on Alzano, not a coffee.

19/10/2025: Dinner with my husband in a quiet, elegant, and refined setting. Amazing seafood dishes. Definitely superior quality. Mr. Giancarlo greeted us with great kindness and warmth. An experience we'll definitely repeat.

12/10/2025: Let me preface this... I already knew this place because I've been there several times, which is why we chose it to celebrate my children's 18th birthday last night! Despite having booked in August and made specific arrangements with the manager, whom we spoke to several times up to 3 or 4 days before the evening, once we arrived at the venue we discovered that the seats we'd chosen and confirmed had been taken by another table. What particularly bothered us was the rudeness and arrogance of the manager, who dismissed us with these exact words: "I'm the one who decides how and where to seat people, not you... Barbara (the lady with whom we've been making arrangements for months!) is a secretary, it's me who decides! PERIOD!!" That said, to avoid further ruining my children's evening and especially because we'd left a large deposit when booking our seats, we accepted this imposition imposed on us by the great manager! I work in the same industry, and I assure you I would have sent someone like this home without hesitation. Customers need to find a solution, not be attacked like this, especially since there were agreements and a deposit paid! That said, the food is very good and definitely deserves praise... and the waitresses, especially Elisa, did everything they could to make up for their "boss's" rudeness, providing us with truly excellent service! The place overall deserves better, but as long as these arrogant and unprofessional people are around, they'll definitely never see us again!

09/08/2025: A Saturday morning with the sun already blazing. The shaded seats are all sold out. I dare move a chair to give my 5-year-old daughter some shade. The clerk forbids me because the owner doesn't want me to, citing nonexistent problems with passing people. I didn't even object. Change bar.

04/09/2025: Our go-to pizzeria for over 3 years... We discovered it by chance on Deliveroo one Monday, now 3 years ago, when our (former) go-to pizzeria was closed, and we've been going there ever since. We've tried both the scrocchia and the tonda, but we love the round pizza: tasty, light dough and generously sized, high-quality ingredients. Since I've been vegan, I've always ordered the vegetarian version, and on the rare occasions I've tried to have it made the same way at other pizzerias, I've always been disappointed. The scrocchia remains the best. Not to mention the fries, which arrive incredibly crispy even at home (and the portion is super generous). Keep up the good work!

27/07/2025: The business lunch menu is good, €13 all-inclusive, and the space is spacious with plenty of tables. The menu is a bit repetitive, but that's fine. The service is quick and friendly.
