27/12/2025: Terrible experience!! Unfortunately, even today, many restaurant owners have no idea what celiac disease is... and what it entails... As a celiac, I can say that I had a terrible experience... and I'm still suffering the consequences today... They assured me that the dishes they brought me were gluten-free, but evidently something went wrong... it was all gluten-free!!!! Furthermore, the staff was quite rude. None of them cared about my health, even though they were told so. Not even a "how are you?"... I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a restaurant, especially if there are celiacs in the group.

28/12/2025: It was a nice surprise to discover this place. I had the kebab pizza (have you ever had that?). It was delicious 😋. But they have other things too.

15/11/2025: One of the few places where they serve a hearty aperitivo. For less than €20 (drink included), they offer delicious appetizers and southern Italian products. The owners are very kind and welcoming, and make you feel at home.

31/03/2026: Excellent food and a splendid wine cellar. I'll start with the highlights. As for the ambiance and, above all, the service, I can't say the same. My "Roman-style" bill was €140 and I was charged €10 more than the others (I only noticed the next day). I was hesitant to decide between two bottles (the staff said they were the same price), but the one recommended turned out to be 35% more expensive. I asked for a bottle on some dishes and the recommendations were a bit "bizarre." I once again congratulate the chefs and the wine cellar, but I don't think I'll be back.

08/03/2026: Returning to Carroponte, dinner after dinner, confirms itself as one of the most solid and enjoyable gastronomic experiences in Bergamo. Consistent quality is the true hallmark of this establishment, with an impeccable welcome and attentive service providing the backdrop to a modern and refined atmosphere. However, the real star of the show remains the beverages. Their wine list is monumental, an endless selection capable of satisfying both the collector seeking a rare gem and those simply seeking an excellent glass at the right price. It's rare to find such a democratic yet refined cellar depth. The culinary offerings follow a philosophy of delicious simplicity. While main courses like expertly creamed risottos and raw fish dishes deserve special mention for their absolute freshness, the restaurant's true soul emerges in the finger foods, delightful treats for the palate. Whether for a formal dinner or a hearty aperitif, Carroponte remains an absolute guarantee.

06/02/2026: Home-style cooking, but with some hints of a higher-end restaurant thanks to the quality of the ingredients. The meat, for example, is often among the best you'll find. The stews melt in your mouth and the roast beef are exceptional.

29/03/2026: Extremely chaotic atmosphere: due to the large number of people and the size of the place, it's difficult even to talk to the people at your table. Every five minutes, the lights dim and loud birthday music starts, which is decidedly annoying, especially when it's repeated up to 10 times in the space of two hours. The pizza quality is rather poor, and since we were seated at a table in the back, we didn't even get a chance to try many varieties.

22/03/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for several years, and just last night we were surprised by the change of management. We found a perfect welcome, with smiling and very helpful staff. The pizza was truly excellent... I dare say amazing... and the meat my husband ordered was also delicious. Unfortunately, the risotto wasn't as good... perhaps the excessive cheese that completely covered the flavor of the shrimp needed attention. Finally, the tiramisu... I've always been a tiramisu fan, and unfortunately, yesterday's was probably still frozen... the cream was very solid, hard... it's a shame because it truly is my favorite dessert. Sorry to say, but the tiramisu at "Chicco" was the best!!! In any case, we had a wonderful dinner with our kids... we'll definitely be back!

24/02/2026: Reading various reviews often leaves me shocked. The food is always very good; we've tried the entire menu. The staff is super friendly and very professional, as are the owners. We go back often and have always had a great time.

09/03/2026: It's worth a visit for the view alone. Unfortunately, yesterday there was a bit of fog that obscured the view. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service adequate, and the menu inviting. Good dishes, served with care by attentive and courteous staff. Recommended.

03/02/2026: Excellent bar and restaurant within the beautiful Don Bosco park, with a young and cheerful atmosphere. You can enjoy a delicious aperitif or eat something hot like pizzas and hamburgers surrounded by the greenery of the park. The food is simple but high-quality and very tasty. It is convenient for families with children as they can play on the various games while eating. Highly recommended.

11/01/2026: I ordered three kebab sandwiches for takeout. The ingredients were good, but everything arrived cold and unpresentable. I live less than a kilometer away, so I wasn't expecting such a delivery. I don't recommend ordering takeout.
