Al Carroponte is an experience, period. The food is fresh, good, even better, so very good. The staff in the dining room are talented and eager to do well. For wine lovers, the place is perfect. We brought a bottle to taste and then shared it with them. How lovely. We had a really good time, the digestive at the bar was excellent. Well done, well done!

Carroponte belongs to this quiet and efficient school. I arrive for a business lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed, convivial, the kind of place where you can discuss numbers and strategies without feeling cramped. The staff is kind, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive—that perfect balance that only those with a proven track record know. The Place The bottles are the true masters of the place. They're everywhere: lined up, displayed, the absolute protagonists of the decor. Magnums, jeroboams, formats that tell stories of vineyards and vintages. It's not ostentation, it's dedication. On the walls, paintings that give personality to the spaces, small signs of care that make the difference between a place and a place. The Dish: I order the carbonara burger. The name itself is a declaration of intent: take a Roman classic, dismantle it, and reassemble it in a different form without betraying it. It's tasty, with an original concept. Excellent food and a splendid wine cellar. I'll start with the highlights. As for the ambiance and, above all, the service, I can't say the same. My "Roman-style" bill was €140 and I was charged €10 more than the others (I only noticed the next day). I was hesitant to decide between two bottles (the staff said they were the same price), but the one recommended turned out to be 35% more expensive. I asked for a bottle on some dishes and the recommendations were a bit "bizarre." I once again congratulate the chefs and the wine cellar, but I don't think I'll be back.

Returning to Carroponte, dinner after dinner, confirms itself as one of the most solid and enjoyable gastronomic experiences in Bergamo. Consistent quality is the true hallmark of this establishment, with an impeccable welcome and attentive service providing the backdrop to a modern and refined atmosphere. However, the real star of the show remains the beverages. Their wine list is monumental, an endless selection capable of satisfying both the collector seeking a rare gem and those simply seeking an excellent glass at the right price. It's rare to find such a democratic yet refined cellar depth. The culinary offerings follow a philosophy of delicious simplicity. While main courses like expertly creamed risottos and raw fish dishes deserve special mention for their absolute freshness, the restaurant's true soul emerges in the finger foods, delightful treats for the palate. Whether for a formal dinner or a hearty aperitif, Carroponte remains an absolute guarantee.

A must-have in Bergamo Excellent cuisine, with a frequently changing menu. Recommended for lunch, dinner, or even just an aperitif. Refined yet comfortable atmosphere. The out-of-this-world wine list will drive anyone with even the slightest bit of wine enthusiast crazy. A point of excellence, the one and only Oscar! If you've never been, fix that immediately and fly there.

Everything was absolutely impeccable, the food was top notch and what can I say about the wine... number one!

Location: Unfortunately, you get the feeling of entering a garage, surrounded by houses. Banal tables, set up like a trattoria. Pop art paintings are now out of place. The wine list is interesting. Food: Good, but portions are very, very small. Wine list: Nothing to complain about...spectacular. In short: prices and wines deserve a higher-level location, not some sort of garage/warehouse with fake grass at the entrance.
