Normal cuisine and raw materials, nothing exceptional, location could be improved. Another matter for the wine list, with the right depth and mark-ups. Professional service.

At Carroponte the wine list is truly encyclopedic. Oscar the host is super passionate about wines and makes his place a true temple of oenology. Even the God Bacchus might be envious of it. Compliments!!
Modern cuisine, with refined and well-prepared dishes, some very pleasant, others with some imperfections but the excellent quality raw materials stand out in every dish.
To complete the menu, a notable list of finger foods. Caviar enthusiasts will find many interesting dishes on the list.
Every wine enthusiast should stop by and visit Oscar.

Very nice place, even if not really to my taste. It seems a little too refined, almost forced. The food is good but did not leave me satisfied and given the prices (€95 each) I expected much more. The attentive service but the glasses offered as soon as you sit at the table, I don't think they should be charged, otherwise the thing must be said. They also got smart with the starters as by asking for things to be "divided in two" they had them arrive double and we only noticed it on the receipt. Not very well.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing! The staff was very welcoming and kind.
We didn't have a reservation but still had a chance to have a table and enjoy our dinner. Had starters to share, oysters, the first course and a desert. Combined dinner with Franciacorta and red wine which was recommended by our waiter.
They had a very nice wine list & lots of champagne options.
