I ordered a birthday cake and picked it up on Saturday, August 23, and I have to say they completely met my expectations: soft, tasty, with zabaglione cannoli all around—practically fantastic! Courtesy is certainly not lacking at this place, the selection of takeout pastries is excellent (also delicious), cleanliness is always top priority, and the dining room inside is very welcoming. I definitely think I'll be using this pastry shop again in the future, despite the distance! Prices are still reasonable.

03/09/2025: Every time I'm in the Isola area, it's a must-try. Magnificent gelato, among the best in Milan: the creams, variegated toppings, and fruit are all top-notch! I highly recommend trying it.

27/05/2025: We finish work late and decide to leave Arcore to go get a good ice cream at this place. We arrive at 9:30 pm and the ice cream tubs have already been removed. We then ask for a caffè macchiato with a pastry but again nothing happens. The waitress tells us: "We're closing time, we've already washed the car, if you want I can make you an orzo". I point out that the closing time is 10:30 pm and the answer is: "Yes, but tonight is a bit of a sad evening, that's how it goes...". We eat our very good pastries, "dry" while two waitresses and a pastry chef laugh and chat among themselves and we leave. Never to return. I believe that a coffee should not be refused to anyone, especially if you are open and there are 3 of us on shift! In response to what was written by the interested parties... if you want to close early (which is absolutely legal) you warn customers with a sign so that one can decide whether to leave or come in anyway and choose something else, certainly not by denying a coffee when ordering. Weren't we kicked out of the place? Of course not! I assure you that in that case we wouldn't have limited ourselves to a review!

14/07/2025: There are some places that the moment you step into you feel so good because of the warmth of their owners and this was one of them. The restaurant was super clean and neat and the food is amazing. We had three types of pizza: Mediterranean, tuna, and shrimp. It is hard to say which one was better. They were all amazing. We loved everything in this restaurant ❤️. Thank you for your hospitality.

03/08/2025: A great find. Really good food, excellent value. The lady who served us was really nice and friendly. Highly recommended if you want to stop for lunch just a few minutes from the highway exit.

02/09/2025: We went for lunch. Maybe we chose the wrong day, maybe dinner would be better. I don't know. The fact is, we found the cutlery dirty and the staff was too hasty, though still very, very kind. As for the kitchen menu on paper, I found it a bit sparse. There was no children's menu. We asked for pasta with tomato sauce for the kids and they told me that if the chef doesn't make pasta with tomato sauce for everyone that day, he won't make it. So, we settled for two delicious pizzas. We ordered gnocco fritto with cured meats. After a while, they told us that the gnocco fritto was sold out, and if we could have had a focaccia, they basically brought us a pizza without any toppings. So, as for the rest of the kitchen menu, there are very few starters, and if you want a risotto, you have to order it for two people. I ordered a full dish of the day, a first course, a second course, and a cover charge. Maybe I didn't understand, but I got a single dish, like a canteen dish. Aside from the daily menu, I find the food prices a bit high; a €15 first course is a bit too much. The desserts are delicious; I'll definitely be back, but only for pizza, which is very good.

04/09/2025: I hadn't been there for a few years. Unfortunately, all the food has deteriorated, both in quality and variety. The arancini were flavorless, with almost no mozzarella. Cartocciate con patate (potato patties) lacked tomato and mozzarella; they don't exist in Catania. The other desserts left much to be desired, with high prices, far removed from the delicious things they used to sell. I feel sorry for the owners, but they can't sell these products; if they have problems, it's better to close down. You can't tarnish Catanian food like this. I don't recommend it.
