06/09/2025: This evening was atrocious. We arrived at the restaurant, we got sat at an outside table with no extra chair (we were only 2 people). We ordered 2 cocktails and 2 meals, 1 cocktail arrived quite fast, the other around 15 minutes later. The meals arrived about 55 minutes later. Food wasn’t ready enough. One of the meals that had chips were chips from a bag that was probably opened a few days ago. Service basically nonexistent, and paying 50 or so euros definitely not worth it. Never again.

30/08/2025: Dinner for four, the elephant ears were delicious...it lived up to expectations. Recommended.

24/08/2025: I can only give one star for each category since we didn't eat. After 45 minutes of ordering (two pulled pork BBQ burgers and a children's menu), we hadn't received anything except the children's menu. Other tables, who arrived after us, consumed their food before us. We contacted the waitress, but after five minutes, we still hadn't received an update. We got up and left, paying for what we'd consumed... they even wanted to charge us for three covers, even though the two of us hadn't even eaten. Both the waitress we asked for the sandwiches from and the cashier we explained the situation to seemed familiar with this type of complaint.

18/06/2025: I had the pleasure of photographing a couple at Grand Hotel Imperiale, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel offers a perfect mix of elegance and classic Lake Como charm. Beautiful lake views, stylish interiors, and a peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal setting for wedding photography. Would happily return anytime.

11/05/2025: I gave 3 stars because the value for money isn't there. Very beautiful and suggestive location with a swimming pool directly on the lake, the bar behind it is very nice but the deckchairs in the pool are old and uncomfortable from the 80s. The hotel garden is fabulous and well cared for but the hotel toilet in the basement is dirty and smelly already at 11 in the morning. Furthermore, the standard rooms are really small, you can barely move. Uncomfortable and old mattress and in the duvet cover instead of a duvet a wool blanket. When a customer spends certain amounts these details are really unpleasant. Come on put more effort into it it's such a nice hotel in a potential location

25/08/2025: The hotel has a great location and nice staff. Breakfast is included with a nice assortment, however there is no other food serverd here for lunch or dinner. The spa is quaint but only has a sauna and steam room. Perfect for a couple of nights and everything is walking distance.

24/08/2025: I'm sorry to have to give a negative review to something that, until recently, was one of my favorite places to eat in Sarnico, but the rudeness with which I was turned away today, despite the place being open and empty, because the management claimed the shop was open but not the food service, is unacceptable to me. Note that on Google the hours appear to be from 10:00 AM to midnight.

20/08/2025: We returned after a long time. Wide selection of wine, always good food. Prices are a little high, but that's acceptable.

15/08/2025: Terrible experience. I don't know if they've changed management. Over the years, it's always been a great place to stop for a delicious meal, but this time we got up and left. They didn't even bring us a menu; all they needed was a mop to clean it up. Never again.

04/08/2025: Excellent restaurant overlooking the Serio River, with very friendly staff and excellent cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. You can also purchase delicious cured meats and pickled vegetables.
