After several attempts to book we managed to have lunch and finally try the famous elephant ear. Small place as often happens in places in Milan. As soon as you sit down you are offered a welcome glass of sparkling wine. We had a cutlet with caramelized onions and one with grilled vegetables, both excellent and I must say that it is truly a feat to get to the end.

A nice local restaurant specializing in typical Milanese dish cotoletta. The portions are huge, but you can take a doggy bag. I suggest not to take appetizers. The service is friendly and they offer a glass of prosecco to start your dinner.

I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the most memorable culinary experiences of my life at this restaurant in Milan, specializing in the preparation of giant Milanese cutlet. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by an elegant and refined atmosphere, which immediately caught my attention. The courteous and professional staff accompanied me to my table and presented me with the menu, which boasted a wide selection of traditional and innovative dishes. However, I couldn't resist ordering the giant Wiener schnitzel, a specialty this restaurant is famous for. The flavor of the cutlet was simply divine: crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, with a perfect harmony of flavors and spices. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, and every bite made me want to savor this Milanese delicacy even more. Today! A rainy day and everything booked. Despite this, they tried to find a solution for us to eat. Outside they have a small covered veranda and they made us sit near a heater (it was nice and warm). We ordered two elephant ear cutlets! Truly exquisite. One with gorgonzola and walnuts, the other with fried eggs and bacon. The staff is friendly and kind. The price is right for what you eat. We couldn't finish them, given the size, but the super professional staff kindly wrapped them up for us to take home. Super recommended, but remember to book.

All right. The cutlet in the photo is a half portion... the normal one is really huge. Good choice of dishes, not just cutlets.

Cena in questo locale tipicamente familiare, abbastanza piccolo e molto molto semplice, molto lontano dai posti “cool” di Milano. Servizio molto gentile e cortese, con piccole accortezze cone noccioline e prosecco offerto gradite. I piatti presi tutti ben fatti e sopratutto enormi, dalla salsiccia alla carne di cavallo fino alle patate al forno e la cotoletta (io personalmente non l’ho presa ma è davvero enorme, quasi sicura la doggy bag). Per quello che abbiamo mangiato e sopratutto la quantità il prezzo è stato piu che giusto, anche in questo caso lontano dalla ormai altissima media milanese. In definitiva consigliato per mangiare bene, tanto e non spendere troppo!

Cibo eccellente, abbiamo preso cotolette orecchie d’elefante e la qualità era più che ottima. Prezzo ottimo ed adeguato all’offerta . Da consigliare assolutamente anche grazie all’offerta di piatti (per chi non mangia la cotoletta)
