It had been a long time since I had been to this restaurant. I chose it to celebrate my birthday and the owner gave me a wonderful welcome as if I were a regular customer. Then he surprised me by celebrating my birthday with candles on the cake. I have no words. I was moved. The food was excellent. Thanks to everyone, Angelo and Cinzia.

Very welcoming and beautiful place, impeccable service, high quality food. One star less because the bill (even though the quality is high) is a bit high. 1 first course, 2 meat-based second courses, 1 bottle of wine, 97 euros!!!!

I went to this restaurant with a friend. The place was very welcoming, the food was phenomenal, and the service was impeccable.
We arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 PM, and within 20-30 minutes, the place was full, especially on a weekday evening.
The dishes were generous and the food was truly excellent.
The staff was helpful and very kind, and the waiter gave us excellent advice.
Highly recommended!

Small and quaint, the dishes are well-prepared, but unfortunately the prices and service aren't up to par. The staff is friendly, but the experience is sometimes ruined by the manager, who can be a bit arrogant and rude. The wine selection is interesting, the menu is reasonably priced, and the prices are a bit high (a pasta with tomato sauce costs €14 plus a €2 cover charge and water), just to give you an idea. Perhaps the meat is worth trying, and deserves attention. Otherwise, I'd go elsewhere; there are better value options nearby, especially at lunchtime.

We found this little restaurant by chance while wandering around Genoa, and I'd say we were truly lucky! We ordered an appetizer, two first courses, and a bottle of wine. Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, and, to top it all, more than fair prices. Highly recommended!

Visited this little gem on a recommendation from a work colleague who says it's his favourite place in Genoa. After my 1st visit I can understand why. Truly amazing tasting steak. Very happy and helpful staff who made us feel completely welcome. We didn't reserve but they accommodated us, but I do say that if you want a table, reserve. I can understand why as the food is delicious and tables do get reserved to the max. Sorry I didn't get a picture of my food as it was so tasty to stop and take a photo, but I did get a picture of my beer glass. I will be back for certain. Thank you Prie Rosse

Friday evening, while searching for a restaurant I'd been to years ago, but whose name I couldn't remember, led me to E Prie Rosse Ristorante, just steps from Piazza De Ferrari in Genoa.
The year started off great, culinary-wise, with quality food, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a friendly and very professional staff that made our experience very positive.
