27/04/2026: I tried Il Panson and I must say it was a delightful discovery. Delicious, carefully prepared, and flavorful food, all served in the splendid central location of Piazza delle Erbe. Perfect for both a relaxed dinner or an evening with friends in the center of Genoa. Highly recommended!
11/04/2026: Make a reservation, it's the only place in the square where the pizzeria is closed on Saturday evenings at 11 p.m.
Luckily, all the other places in the square serve both local cuisine and pizza.

30/05/2026: Unfortunately, it's no longer the Swiss pastry shop it once was. On Saturday mornings at 10 a.m., the counter is completely empty. What are they afraid of, they'll have some left over?
12/04/2026: We went to buy a cake for a birthday, and not only was the cake delicious, but the lady who served us was also very kind and even gave us the candle for free. The service and quality made us want to come back.

26/09/2025: The gluten-free sandwiches are good, but it's a shame that the bread used is the packaged kind found in supermarkets, and that since they've been gluten-free for years, they haven't yet managed to offer gluten-free chips and bacon (and contamination). Even though the sandwiches have been revisited (removing ingredients like beacon), there's still a surcharge on the gluten-free menu.

23/09/2025: It's now a regular stop for aperitivo and breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.
24/08/2025: We always went to the Achille bar for an aperitif, on Sunday we were surprised to see that the management had changed. We took three truly disappointing aperitifs, they brought us three slices of salami, one of mortadella divided into three and three half slices of bread with a slice of tomato. We wouldn't go back!!!;;

20/07/2026: I walk in and order a simple, unpretentious martini cocktail. I need a cocktail glass half-filled. HALF-FULL. My friend's Negroni glass was filled, rightfully, to the top. But how much does someone have to pay to be served a full glass of cocktail? 90 euros? So maybe that short-armed Genoese DOCG can hold the bottle for more than three seconds?
26/06/2026: A good bar with a frequently changing menu and an excellent selection of starters, main courses, and delicious salads, with a focus on vegetarian options.
Value for money: The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food served. Recommended

27/12/2025: I call to ask if they accept meal vouchers, and the lady says yes, no problem, "even for dinner?" Yes, yes, "even Edenred?" Of course! So I book for four that same evening, and when it's time to pay, "No, sorry, we don't accept meal vouchers!" Let's point out that I called and asked three questions, "Maybe we didn't understand each other on the phone."
15/12/2025: The food is good. The atmosphere is pleasant, and best of all, there's parking and it's indoors.

10/06/2026: The store recently installed a self-service checkout. A few weeks ago, I purchased a product for €1.45. I inserted two coins, one for €1 and the other for 50 cents, at the same time, but the machine only accepted the €1 amount. The other clerk (the one without glasses), annoyed by what had happened, rudely asked me to insert the missing amount (45 cents) and then, via video camera, let me know, as if we had contacts. Adding insult to injury, I won't be going to this bakery in the future; there are others in the area with good products and friendly staff. I recommend inserting coins into the self-service checkout one at a time to avoid paying a higher amount.

02/08/2026: Crazy, we went there after seeing a review on Instagram…and I never would have thought Instagram would tell the truth. The food was plentiful, delicious, and the staff were truly welcoming. The all-you-can-eat menu was awesome, except that we had trouble walking afterward due to the amount of food we'd gorged on.
