01/11/2025: Once and never again, early this morning, I bought bread and focaccia...absolute disappointment, inedible focaccia, I can't describe how clean and tidy it was...and the clerk was absolutely rude. It makes me think some of the reviews aren't true. However, I don't recommend looking for something better. P.S.: I went back to read the positive reviews and, as I said, some must be biased; it's impossible to have found all this deliciousness. People obviously don't know what they're putting in their mouths.

30/10/2025: Friendly staff The focaccia is top-notch. Try the Nutella and pistachio versions, which are out of this world.

06/12/2025: Today we had lunch at this restaurant and I'd say it was an unexpected surprise... all the dishes were fantastic. The risotto with Santa's red prawns was super.

10/11/2025: The Taverna del Marinaio restaurant is simply fantastic! The food is delicious, everything is fresh and prepared with love. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, perfect for a pleasant evening. The owner is truly kind and friendly—she made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

05/02/2026: The food may not be perfect, but it's very good. The kebab is good, and the pizza too. The service is fantastic. I arrived at the hotel with my family late, and everything was closed at 11 p.m. They were already cleaning up at 11:15 p.m., and they still had no problem making me two more pizzas. Real people! Thanks. I came back today for two more pizzas. This kind of customer service is what builds a business. Thank you! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

02/10/2025: The pizza was nothing special, the atmosphere was so noisy it was almost impossible to understand each other. The friendly and polite waiters saved the day.

24/12/2025: Terrible experience. The owner, despite seeing the sandwich fall just as he was handing it to me, pretended nothing had happened, claiming it was all my fault and categorically refusing to help me. To make matters worse, the pork inside was visibly raw (as you can see in the attached photo), which poses a serious health risk. When I asked to cook it a little longer, I was arrogantly told that the sandwich was perfect and that they wouldn't cook it any further. Unacceptable behavior and a total lack of professionalism. Highly not recommended.

21/12/2025: I was in line for my sandwich, I ordered it and stood aside. Meanwhile, the people behind me ordered and received their sandwiches before me, to the point where I asked what happened to my order and it turned out the whole sandwich had been left in the oven reheating and was burnt (okay, it can happen to anyone). Having said that, the guy apologized (with a pissed-off look on his face, to say the least) and took another sandwich, assembled it with a piece of meat recently thrown in the pan, and therefore poorly cooked and raw inside, and served it to me without even reheating it with the cold and dry sandwich. Really great, oh, and by the way, you guys are incredibly nice, you exude a zest for life. P.S. I should add that a friend of mine was with me; he asked for fries, and to serve them to him, since it was hot, the guy decided to wipe his sweat with his right hand and then take the fries with his bare hands to serve in the sandwich. All hygiene rules are respected. The fact that this place is still open is incredible.

16/02/2026: Great location looking out over the Piazza and in a lovely old building typical of the town. Coffee was excellent and staff obviously very good at their job. We look forward to returning.

05/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance... luckily!! 😍 We grabbed some takeout sandwiches to eat while strolling through the main square. Amazing, to say the least: for less than €10 you get a well-made sandwich with excellent quality meat. The Rooster sandwich was exceptional. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the gentleman at the cash register patiently explained the sandwiches' sides to us several times without batting an eyelid. Super fast, super efficient, and they even charge separately. We'll definitely be back!!! 10 out of 10
