30/01/2026: I've been to this café several times for breakfast and let's just say the atmosphere has never been convivial and courteous, very cold... But never like this morning, him alone serving probably very pissed... Because managing a flow of people during rush hour is not easy (but those are the risks of the job otherwise you'd change sectors) I speak from experience because I worked as a barista and the customer needs to be pampered. Anyway, aside from that premise... He responds rudely to everyone, first I see him rudely treating a group of women probably regulars by telling them that he is alone and to get a move on and remind him what they had ordered, I served myself tea at the table and paid for some hot water with a frozen croissant €4.10 without any service, I brought everything back to the counter because I saw him in difficulty and because I often do it out of politeness and I hear him reply... "Next time leave everything at the table" instead of saying thank you for making his job easier. But next time it won't be easy, and if customers come back to this place, you should kiss where they walk. Ligurians are probably used to the lack of courtesy by now, and it's normal for them to be mistreated.

27/12/2025: Really great pizza, thin crust, crunchy and flavorful. The service is fine, the place was kind of empty so they could attend me great. I ordered a “Tricolore” which was incredible to try and get tall the flavors together. I would recommend this place.

22/12/2025: Extremely poor attitude from the owner. She was visibly annoyed and made rude comments because two of us shared a pizza and some didn't order alcohol. The service felt very unwelcoming. The pizza itself is nothing special—the dough is dry and hasn't risen properly, so we ended up leaving the crusts. I’d recommend going elsewhere for better food and a friendlier atmosphere.

03/05/2026: The food was good, even though I doubt its provenance. The service was really slow, and the owner was very kind, but du pall, the kitchen was a nightmare. The atmosphere is vintage and cute, but you need to keep it much cleaner, especially the cutlery.

10/11/2025: I'm sorry to have to report this. Yesterday I went to this bar with my son and husband. The management doesn't give you a smile, not to mention the cleanliness! If an inspection comes, they'll ask me! So my advice is: clean up!

16/03/2026: Exceptional experience. The homey atmosphere (which I love) and the excellent cuisine. The service is what allowed us to enjoy a wonderful experience: rare kindness and helpfulness, but above all, not knowing it was a restaurant with a predominantly meat-based diet, I hadn't mentioned my vegetarian diet. The waitress was superb, finding solutions on the spot that completely satisfied me, despite the difficult improvisation. The bill was also incredible, in a positive sense! Fantastic, thank you!

16/04/2026: I read some reviews that really surprised me. I've known that place since my aunt was there, that is, 70 years ago. Anja is a delightful person. Pleasant, fast, kind, and polite. Seeing her being rude struck me as heretical. The other thing that really made me laugh was hearing people say that Genoese cuisine on Via di Ravecca, at Sciamadda, is betrayed and not made with respect for tradition. I fear she has a very vague understanding of our/my cuisine. I, a true Genoese, with Genoese great-grandparents, categorically disagree. I've tried the restaurants in San Giorgio and Canneto. I can say that the best onion, leek, and chard tart is right here. Highly recommended. For everything. A close-knit and extremely professional couple. The hours are a bit unstable, but in such a chaotic world, do we want to be bothered by a few small delays?

03/05/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. We had booked and notified in advance that we had a stroller, but we were seated in an extremely uncomfortable spot where it wouldn't even fit, with absolutely no ventilation. During service, the waitresses shouted at each other, creating an unprofessional atmosphere. Perhaps three or four dishes arrived, despite a very long wait: we sat down at 8:00 PM, and by 9:56 PM we still hadn't even eaten. With a small child who had started crying, I politely asked the owner if it was possible to expedite service given the wait. The response was rather rude: I was told that the dishes had already been taken out and cancelled, when in fact nothing had arrived at the table. In the end, I got up to pay: €67 for a decidedly disappointing experience. I won't be returning.

22/12/2025: Royal Sushi - very bad experience. We came on December 22nd at 12:25 PM, table #20 (if I remember correctly). After more than an hour of waiting, we were only served two dishes from our entire order, and unfortunately, the quality was very poor: the fish had an unusual smell and taste. The other dishes never arrived, despite the long wait. At 1:35 PM, we left practically without having eaten, but we still paid 45 euros. At checkout, there was also confusion with the table number, and we were asked to pay more than we should have. Slow and disorganized service, disappointing food quality. ↓ We do not recommend and will not return.

09/05/2026: After they waste hours, they bounce skills from one cash register to another. They can't even insert the endearment vouchers that the cartel is supposed to accept.

23/04/2026: We went there to eat today. The bun on my burger was very dry and there was practically no chicken... A real shame for a chicken burger. The chicken cutlet from the kids' menu was overcooked and too dry. My son wouldn't even finish it. The staff is friendly, but the food should be their priority... As a result, we ate somewhere else after leaving the restaurant. 1/5, but I would have given it 0/5 considering the price!

10/12/2025: Excellent breakfast with focaccia and cappuccino. Friendly staff. The place is a bit cramped but very well-maintained.

01/11/2025: Once and never again, early this morning, I bought bread and focaccia...absolute disappointment, inedible focaccia, I can't describe how clean and tidy it was...and the clerk was absolutely rude. It makes me think some of the reviews aren't true. However, I don't recommend looking for something better. P.S.: I went back to read the positive reviews and, as I said, some must be biased; it's impossible to have found all this deliciousness. People obviously don't know what they're putting in their mouths.

30/10/2025: Friendly staff The focaccia is top-notch. Try the Nutella and pistachio versions, which are out of this world.
