26/09/2025: The gluten-free sandwiches are good, but it's a shame that the bread used is the packaged kind found in supermarkets, and that since they've been gluten-free for years, they haven't yet managed to offer gluten-free chips and bacon (and contamination). Even though the sandwiches have been revisited (removing ingredients like beacon), there's still a surcharge on the gluten-free menu.

17/09/2025: For just €15.90 + €2.00 per person, you can eat as much as you want. A huge selection of interesting dishes. Ordering is simple: the waiter brings you a menu, a piece of paper, and a pen. You choose what you want and write it down. The waiter takes it and starts bringing you food one by one. You can add something to your order in the meantime. I recommend it.

17/11/2025: Bartender of zero... I'll just tell you he can't even get canned drinks out. It takes half an hour to open a bottle, an hour for a drink. Congratulations!

01/11/2025: Soft chips, plate not arrived (since it is served after 5pm it was 4.38pm when the order was placed and 4.52pm when the cocktails arrived, I used to go there often but never again. PS 2 non-alcoholic drinks, 1 spritz (aperol seen with binoculars) 23 euros

05/04/2025: Posto perfetto per un pranzo in famiglia, coppia o di lavoro..ambiente familiare e curato, personale alla mano e sorridente.Che dire del menù, ampia scelta e rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Quando voglio togliermi uno sfizio e sedermi a tavola e mangiare bene, trattoria Ca Nova è una garanzia. A presto 😎

I went there because I remembered that a few years ago they served coffee in lovely porcelain cups... now the cups are cheap, the place is incredibly dirty, the music is awful and very loud, the coffee is short and almost cold, and it costs a whopping €1.40! Never again, I highly recommend it 🤐

21/10/2025: Nice/healthy food, amazing sharp-eyed staff and superb location in the inner court of Palazzo Ducale. We go there for lunch every day and we have always been welcomed in the warmest way. Daily changes to the menu (with a wide range of proposals) over a solid base of flagship dishes such as trofie or pinsa.

29/04/2025: Proprio ad un passo dalla Stazione di Genova Brignole, una vera e rara perla ligure. Che dire: non sembra di essere in Liguria entrando in questo bar! Il Titolare è una persona squisita, amabile, simpatica, garbata, attenta, esattamente al contrario di TUTTI i commercianti ed esercenti incrociati finora nelle centinaia di esperienze liguri!!! Vi consiglio caldamente questo bar, oltre che per quanto sopra, anche per l’ampia disponibilità assortita di dolce-salato di cui dispone. Vi sentirete finalmente accolti, accompagnati, considerati e meravigliosamente serviti ma MAI bistrattati!

22/07/2025: I went a few nights ago, brought by friends who were already frequenting the place. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the savory crepes, so much so that I later ordered a sweet one with chocolate cream and Grand Marnier. Since I started, I returned two days later for another savory crepe. I must say the menu offers a nice selection of crepes with various fillings, both savory and sweet. I think I'll be back soon.

07/09/2025: The worst seafood pasta you can taste in Italy. As a sauce in this pasta we had just a piece of butter. Also serving a seafood pasta where half of the shells are closed shows a lot about the cooks talants. Any other pasta in any other place will be way better for that price and even lower. Appetizers from chef will make you laugh. Service and place are fine. Food is awful, avoid it in any case. Strongly reccomend you to visit any other place nearby.
