22/08/2025: Thursday's aperitif and 1 free drink deal was excellent... Food and drinks 🔝! The only flaw is that if the place closes at 9 PM, shouldn't the staff start sending people away at 8:26 PM? That didn't seem polite at all... At least at 8:50 PM you can start politely asking to leave the table... But not before that! The guy told us at 8:26 PM they'd be closing in 10 minutes... ABSURD.

17/09/2025: We went to celebrate my youngest daughter's first day of school with family and friends. The pizzas and fries are a hit with the kids. We adults really enjoyed them, and honestly, I didn't think a proper pizza, with cheese and cold cuts, could be so light and delicious, but it was. We were honestly surprised. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money. We'll be back.

01/12/2025: We ordered pizzas for delivery, and two of them arrived incorrectly. The one that was supposed to be a pizza with pesto, potatoes, and green beans came with chips and beans, a combination I would never have imagined on a pizza. The pizzas in general were truly awful, the edges unimaginable. I don't know how it has so many stars; it can't compare to other pizzerias in the city.

29/11/2025: We ordered takeout and were impressed by the owner's attentiveness, who even called us back to let us know our order was ready, given our delay. He and the entire staff were extremely kind and helpful, even offering us a complimentary drink. We've tried many restaurants, but such genuine courtesy is truly rare: we felt welcomed at every turn. The food was also impeccable, tasty and prepared with obvious care, all at more than fair prices. We highly recommend this place, and will definitely return.

10/03/2026: First night open after the change of management, an absolutely pleasant surprise. Generous and delicious dishes, fish ravioli with a truly rich sauce! Fried calamari, cooked to perfection. Complimentary wine. The place was "not very crowded," but consistent with a typical Tuesday evening in Genoa. We'll be back!

23/01/2026: Booked on Google. Confirmation received upon arrival. Restaurant closed. Not very pleasant, a shame.

02/10/2025: The pizza was nothing special, the atmosphere was so noisy it was almost impossible to understand each other. The friendly and polite waiters saved the day.

13/05/2025: A bit chaotic but the food is good, clearly "pub-like". Good selection of beers, typical atmosphere of the bars in the alleys of Genoa. The phone doesn't work in the internal rooms.

20/05/2025: Confirmation in May, sun, green. Getting there is challenging but the place is unforgettable as a location, a restaurant in the woods! Good fresh food, sufficiently abundant portions, excellent grill!!!!

18/02/2026: What a shame, really. An excellent culinary offering, featuring all the signature dishes of Ligurian cuisine, was literally thrown away due to the disorganization in the dining room and the resulting biblical waits before being served. I've been to this restaurant several times in the same week because I was staying in Chiavari for personal reasons. Whether it was a busy weekend or a quiet weekday, the common denominator has always been the slow service: a plate of ravioli, a veal cutlet with chips, and a dessert served in an average of an hour and a half. It's a shame, because the price is also highly competitive. The waiter is also smart and fast, but the problem clearly lies between him and the kitchen. I can't explain it any other way. Anyway, I repeat, in case you haven't figured it out, the food is very good.

19/01/2026: Delicious dishes. We ordered fried and grilled fish, fries, and two desserts. The portions weren't exactly generous, but everything was delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely slow, and it wasn't possible to leave two people (the girl was brilliant!) to set up the tables, welcome and direct customers, clear the tables, take orders, serve, and, last but not least...cashier! I sincerely hope she gets paid her dues. All this on a day with a thousand-year-old fair just a few meters away, so it was expected to be packed! An hour and a half wait from when we sat down to when they started serving us was way too long. Of course, something you only see in Liguria, the bread didn't arrive until halfway through lunch—just in case you consume too much while waiting. I highly recommend it because the food is truly delicious, but perhaps it's better to go during the week or on days when you're sure you won't find more than three or four tables occupied.

06/01/2026: We stopped by this place by chance. One of the few open after New Year's Eve. We asked for a spot on the patio with space for our dog, and we were granted it. The staff is very friendly. The patio was warm but a bit cramped. There were a lot of people waiting for a table. We ordered two first courses and a second course with a side. The first courses were good but average, the fried fish was superb. The prices, like everywhere on the Riviera, are a bit high, but it's money well spent on a holiday. The staff are really friendly, highly recommended.

04/09/2025: I rarely recommend a restaurant based on a single meal, but this is the case. Ora Blu was a pleasant surprise, both for its cuisine, service, and location. We were particularly impressed by the pasta with clams and the mixed grilled fish. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly, preserving the freshness and authentic flavor of the fish. Truly excellent. We felt truly welcomed by the lovely Michela. I highly recommend Ora Blu in San Michele di Pagana, a quaint, colorful, and quiet village between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, where you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Tigullio Gulf and the Riviera!

20/08/2025: Pasta felt low quality. French fries feels also low quality + frozen. The portion of the “large fritto misto” is very small quantity. What would have you given me if I ordered the medium size? Unacceptable food.
