04/10/2025: The place to relax with friends and enjoy a drink! The bistro-style selection of dishes is also perfect, paired with quality ingredients.

09/08/2025: I would have expected more... definitely a quality wine cellar, but the service was heartless and the dishes were very disappointing. To eat, you have to order something else, but you don't get great quality! I chose the bubbles myself, and they were excellent, despite spending a lot overall. I'm not complaining about the price of the bottle, which I consciously chose, but about the whole thing compared to the low quality of the food and the welcome with zero empathy.

27/08/2025: The worst bar in all of Chiavari! I went there because I remembered that a few years ago they served coffee in lovely porcelain cups... now the cups are cheap, the place is incredibly dirty, the music is awful and very loud, the coffee is short and almost cold, and it costs a whopping €1.40! Never again, I highly recommend it 🤐

27/08/2025: The Negroni is my favorite cocktail. It's just the right amount of strong, just the right amount of sweet, just the right amount of bitter. It's a clever and balanced cocktail, seemingly simple to make but, evidently, deceiving. Unfortunately, it's hard to find good ones around Genoa; from a place called a "negroneria," you'd expect the best, but instead... Mine was made by a kid who I don't think has ever even tasted one, otherwise he wouldn't have made it that way. There was so much ice that it resembled a frozen one, both in color and flavor. What annoys me most is the possibility of a new generation of Negroni enthusiasts who think it's well-made when, in fact, it's not. Please consider changing the brand. Nonnegroneria isn't bad; I grant you any rights. Thanks.

20/11/2025: We went there this evening for a pizza party for my daughter with some friends... obviously not at the peak time so as not to clog the place up... the girls and mothers were great, courteous, polite, fast and the 12 of us (8 minors and 4 mothers) were all out at 9 pm... two tables full, excellent pizzas, but I repeat, the hospitality and courtesy were top notch. Thank you.

27/11/2025: A classic bakery in the historic center, undoubtedly excellent quality. The cashier was incompatible with a customer-facing role (as noted in other reviews). When it was time to pay, I presented my card to the cashier and, out of curiosity, I looked at the large price list for the various products. From that moment on, the cashier began to constantly give me a look that was somewhere between contemptuous and amused. At first, I didn't believe it could be directed at me, since there was no reason for it. But seeing her insistence, I asked for clarification. The lady pretended nothing had happened, smiling slightly but continuing with the same look. Continuing to look at the price list, she continued the dramatic scene. At which point I asked a second time what the problem was, but the cashier, continuing her attitude, preferred not to answer. Perhaps because I paid with my card for a recent purchase? Perhaps because I dared to look at the price list? 😂 Who knows? It will remain a well-kept secret by the cashier with the ambiguous and contemptuous face 😂 Professionalism is required when dealing with the public, and one cannot allow oneself to be influenced by one's own absurd personal judgments. At least the request for clarification could have been answered (if there had been good faith) instead of continuing with this scene. Terrible. Among other things, simple bread with water costs €6.20 per kg. I'm not arguing with the quality, it's certainly excellent.

11/10/2025: We had a savory breakfast with Recco focaccia, excellent, Genoese focaccia, super greasy, divine, and private olive and sage bread, a sort of focaccia from Spezia. Everything was excellent, at a great price.

06/10/2025: I don't want to be too harsh. Let's just say you shouldn't eat there on purpose. But if you're in the area, after a nice hike up Monte Maggio, a great vantage point, you can stop for a bite to eat at this "restaurant" (wouldn't it have been better to call it a trattoria or an osteria?) where the atmosphere takes you back to the 1960s, the food is very cheap, but it tastes like a canteen. It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to improve enough to make it acceptable, perhaps by raising the prices by a few euros. On the other hand, the lady is very kind and quick. Of course, they don't have a POS.

The cuisine is its true strength: excellent Ligurian specialties and delicious dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The flavors are authentic and well-balanced, making each course a pleasure for the palate. A small drawback is parking, which is scarce nearby, and the restaurant's capacity, which can be a bit tight at peak times. Despite this, Trattoria Luigin remains a recommended stop for those seeking to savor Ligurian cuisine in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere.

07/09/2025: The worst seafood pasta you can taste in Italy. As a sauce in this pasta we had just a piece of butter. Also serving a seafood pasta where half of the shells are closed shows a lot about the cooks talants. Any other pasta in any other place will be way better for that price and even lower. Appetizers from chef will make you laugh. Service and place are fine. Food is awful, avoid it in any case. Strongly reccomend you to visit any other place nearby.

25/10/2025: I trusted the reviews and I don't regret it, because it's the perfect bar! Spritzes are €5 (I had the limoncello one and it was delicious) and for that price you also get a whole bunch of snacks. The waitress was super nice too. It's quite simple, I'm going back tonight!

30/06/2025: Neglected place, without a sign that makes its identity clear. In my opinion, the prices are too high to justify the place and the quality of the food. A 20 euro fish appetizer where the fish was almost absent and the salmon tasted stale... The badly cooked grilled fish where I had to give up the overcooked tuna... I gave up dessert and coffee to limit the DAMAGE... honestly, the owners need to review some things. For me it was not a happy expense...

16/11/2025: A little off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle of the harbor, we found this lovely little restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. We had the large appetizer platter, which was truly delicious and included some fantastic regional specialties. Afterward, we had the fish soup, also very good, and the spaghetti with clams. We also had a small bottle of Vermentino and water, and the bill, at around €100, was very reasonable. We'd gladly come back again.

09/11/2025: Homemade food, impeccable and friendly service, excellent homemade gnocchi. The Cinque Terre wine was very good.

19/10/2025: We have always had a good experience in the past, however today, in addition to offering us a limited menu....., the side dish of fried potatoes they said was not available (even if it was served later at other tables) in their place they only had baked potatoes available that were not of the day..... "shame"!!
